Ok thanks for ur input . I hv paid him his balance even though his use of language over this issue was unprofessional but i hv taken it as it is but am very sad about having one sided design in my build . If i was made aware of this blank sided design,i wont do it . He told me about using plain pan of which i thought normally plain pan is used in making door but not knowing he is using to make the back side as he didn't explain of what use the plain pan will be . People said the back side of the door looks like a warehouse door anyway i will manage it like that .

Please don't do that you will regret it, termites will find a path through the tiles and attack wooden components of the building, precipitation and moisture will damage the Inside of your building, during raining season, the floors without concrete layers will be damp and thus affect the interior of the building, you beds and any other things in room in contact with the floor will end up being wet, and you will notice water going up your walls, wall paintings will be peeling off and the wall plasters will swell up. Because the the concrete layer should act as a damp proof course, and without that, dampness and moisture will make the house uncomfortable.

I suggest you do concrete floor but reduce the thickness to about 3 inches, with that you can save cost.

Yes. Tiles are packed and measured in square metres boldly written on the carton.

For instance, 600mm x 600mm vitrified floor tiles, has 4 PCs in a carton. That means a carton is 1.44sqm. This goes for other types of tiles. I always advise my clients to buy their tiles per carton rather than per square metres. Lots of unscrupulous sellers can cheat the buyer if you're not conversant with measurements.

Verdict: This is commendable, but will affect other families who are staffs in the company, things won't be funny for them anymore. I would have advised the company compensate the family in cash and then the government force them to put in place safety measure to avoid such Hazard in the future... My story look a little bit like yours

Those days of my ND whenever I visit my aunt, I automatically assume the role of the one to do house chores her kids are lazy, as I continue to grow older it doesn't sit well with me, during my HND I learnt photography and start doing wait and get photos while staying with a friend, immediately I start earning small changes my dependency on her greatly reduced hence I don't visit often, before and during my service year I learnt programming and got a job immediately after service

I am grateful for all my aunt and her husband has done for me but the truth is I WON'T ACHIEVE ANYTHING IF I CONTINUE TO STAY WITH THEM MY MIND WILL BE MORE FIXATED ON COMPLETING A NEVER ENDING CYCLE OF HOUSE CHORES RATHER THAN THINKING ABOUT MY CAREER

@adunni07 you are simply are adopted house girl and that is not going to change any time soon, no one is gonna let a passive slave free just like that, fighting her is a no no, it is a war you will never win but you will come out severely wounded, she will paint you as ingrate, your parents will rather support her, if you fight her her husband will rather support her and worse of all you will loose the gains and comfort her house bring

Your best bet is to find something doing asap, if it's to learn a vocational training, intensify your job hunting and act grown up, let her see you as busy, don't let her always see you as available, immediately you get a reasonable job your best bet is leaving her house
