Ozonna: I so happy about the bolded. I just pray that the contractor will construct a quality road and also that funds are made available by the FG. This one wey the Minister no mention the name of the construction companyWhere the hell is dat road!?? Am from anambra and have never heard of those places! For FG to remember a place I don't even know where it is in anambra and construct good road for them is very commendable! And am sure no prominent politician is from those places. |
Why is it hard for some peeps to bring out their phones and take pics! Dats d easiest tin to do! Zuby abeeg wats is d current state of work at the onitsha hotel and convention center? Peter obi said last yr it will be completed by dis month! Is it anywhere near completion? Dats if u stay near GRA |
The privitization proceed money to be used to pay off the PHCN won't be a lost money, they are still going to spend it in nigeria economy, they are fathers, brothers, sisters, aunties, uncles, neigbours, customers of us one way or the other! They will buy cars, lands, laptops, go shopping, pay school fees and finally start up business which will employ people. At the same time they will take their witch body comot that sector they have bedeviled for yrs, even though d good ones will still be needed in d industry. So it is a win win situation |
See forming for here Mtcheew! people wey never go a cinema or dey ogbomosho dey follow talk ![]() |
Godogwu: So the first woman selling farm produce was earning about $25 a day thats about N4,000 a day and now she earns 5 times the amount because the roads are way better and that's N20,000 a day. Lets assume all days aren't that good, but lets say she gets in N200,000 a month. You dey mind them.....I keep hearing that crap of 60 percent of nigerians living on 1 dollar per day from reports and i just cant phantom dat white lie that has been told for so long.....even beggers make at least 7 dollars per day! for christ sake 1 dollar is 160 naira, even a plate of food is sold more than that. |
Omo_Tier1: The GEJ uncircumcised laptop wiggies are here again! The want to claim a project clearly sponsored by AFDB as their 'polluted Fresh Air'Did you noticed the impecable english the village woman plantain seller was speaking and she is camerounian! I Was suprised....while the nigerian men were using farm cutlass to tear their english with igbotic accent! ![]() |
CAMEROONPRIDE: ^^^ you erase the bold partOk thanks! |
@cameroonpride how do dey even embedd video on post? I tried embedding it but couldn't, I just posted d link like that. |
greaterlove: the roads have really improved, i came into abuja today thru enugu-ajaokuta-lokoja and i couldnt believe my eyes, i had to start taking pictures of the road, it was so good to be true anybody who has taken that route recently can attest to the fact that its smooth from start to finish virtually no bumps anywhere except some speed bumps around ajule on your way to ajaokuta. my mouth was just filled with praise for GEJ, because the last time i took that route in 2009 it was something else.Really? Dat 9th mile obollo afor otukpo road? Dat road has been death trap since abacha regime! D best they have been doing was to patch some areas! Heard its about been dualized tru BOT! Saw d BOT advert today in papers |
Okija_juju: In all fairness, our roads are indeed getting better in terms of quality.. Below is a picture of my speedometer and the state of most of the road from PH to Uyo.. I covered it in under 1hr. I hit 210 at some point. |
eastOFwest: Just noticed that the sections of road shown in Cameroun look far more superior to the sections in Nigeria?Dats not true! Most of nigerian side is being dualized especially from enugu side and towards abakiliki side while d cameroun side is not. |
I Saw this advert on the punch newspaper and begin to wonder if GEJ is actually what the opposition is painting him to be!! we have heard all the name callings, that he is clueless, that his government is the worst thing that has happened to nigeria. Can we in all sincerity say he is the worst president ever? sentiments and politics aside!

The benefits of the nearly completed Enugu-Bamenda Multinational Highway are already being felt by populations on both sides of the Cameroon-Nigeria border. The 443 km long Bamenda–Enugu corridor comprises the Cameroonian Bamenda-Mamfe-Ekok road sections (203 km), the Nigerian road sections (240 km), the bridge over the Munaya River in Cameroon (100 m) and the border bridge over the Cross River (280m) " https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KnXCfCA0p9A" |
hugafella: For me, I can say that for the first time in donkeys years, south east roads are receiving REAL attention. Yes, and the power situation has improved. Methinks GEJ is really working o. That's my humble opinion.Pls which of the roads are getting the real attention you talked about? can you give me the work rate of enugu- onitsha expressway, where are the contractors currently, i know d onitsha part is aggressively being worked on, don't know about d enugu part........... and also the enugu-port harcourt expressway! Anybody else who knows can also give us true current situation, if pictures are available better! |
Goodysydney: But pls i beg u in the name of God. Pls don't give my Nigerian brother Hiv/Aids. Pls baby tell him to protect himself with 2 packet of condom before having sex with u. Lets go for The Treble.....win this one, also win the caf U17 coming up next month! thereby holding all the caf men competition trophy at the same time! no nation has ever done it. |
Nigeria comes into the 12 th Orange CAF U-20 African Championship that starts in Algeria this weekend as title holders but to their coach John Sam Obuh says that doesn’t count for anything going into this tournament. “ For a start this is a different team from two years ago and while that’s sounds nice to be called defending champions, you cannot expect that to simply win you the next tournament, so we are well prepared and ready to engage side in the competition” Speaking to Cafonline.com ahead of his team’s opening match against fellow West Africans, Mali on Sunday in Oran, Obuh believes there are no small teams in the competition and every side has potential to do well so he has prepared his charges with this in mind, “ We respct every team here and for our first game, we expect a tough match against Mali who always have strong teams especially at youth level. Mali is always there or thereabout in such competitions and we have to play well to win but l am confident of my team and having done as much as a coach can, all that is left is for the good fortune from God that you always need to do well in football” Like other coaches in the tournament, Obuh made no secret that the target for his side is a semi-final place, which gives Nigeria an automatic qualification for FIFA U-20 World Cup later on this year. “ We will take it one game at a time as we aim to make semis and from there on we will look to retain the Cup but securing a World Cup place is the top priority. It is almost like an added bonus to reach semis and this is motivation enough for the boys. They want to go and play in the World Cup like the 2011 side and l tell them they too have an opportunity to be part of history by reaching Turkey where the U-20 World Cup will take place.” Nigeria vs Mali will kick off at 17h30 local time in Oran- Algeria and will be followed in the same stadium by DR Congo vs Gabon kick off 20h30 http://www.cafonline.com/competition/can-u-20_2011/news/16495-being-defending-champions-wont-count-for-anything-nigerian-coach-john-obuh.html |
