MobilityExpress: Yes, there is surge, and yes there's a place for hard work or smart work, but after investing in the Uber and Taxify system for about over 2 months running now, I can categorically say, 90% of drivers cheat and inflate fares by gps manipulation or app manipulation. Finally I understand why android is usually the preferred phone because it's open to manipulation. Met one driver one time, had a gist, 3 trips and he already made 23k because of SALT n PEPPER. Now it's easy to tag other drivers not making that much money lazy if you're outside the system and don't know what's going on in the system. No! They are not lazy, well at least not all of them. They are just HONEST people. My Uber/Taxify investment adventure ends this December. It's a bad investment for honest people. ImperialYoruba:
Why wait till 2023 to do that?
We have been telling you long before the PDP primary in PH what we intend to do in 2023. Your Kwara god, Saraki even declared publicly to you that Tinubu is scheming to be President after Buhari.
Did you not hear him?
Now, to show how politically naive you Ibos are. After knowing Yoruba will go for 2023...you gave all your delegate votes to Atiku.
Now you are crying....buyer's remorse! Was Tambuwal not a candidate in the PH primary, or you didnt see his teeth? How about Kwankwaso, did you mistake his red hat for an Iboman?
If you like sef line up behind IBB for president and put Ekweremadu as VP na you go still lose. See how you already commited errors and lost 2019 before the polls have even started counting.
Here...keep this, the numbers will change for 2023 but the rankings will be same. Forget all those figures Oke. Just wait till 2023. The average Hausa okada rider will not attend a mosque a Yoruba man is an Imam not to talk of having one as President. Let's not talk too much. My vote is for Atiku... Pending the command Nnamdi Kanu gives. If he says no election... Then bye bye to the Fulani man! Butbif he says vote, I will vote Atiku hands down!
Now come 2023, PDP will will field Tambuwal. Please field your Osibanjo and meet us at the Playing field. E go dawn for your eyes soon! |

Oshigun: Read my post above yours to know Yorubas have worked you out and we are miles ahead of you. You literally confirmed what I said which is that Igbo focus is to frustrate Yorubas and not to try and do what is necessary to gain the chance to lead Nigeria. As it is now, it is for the south to duke out 2023 but you cowards have given up already and are now limiting your 2023 engagement to be about frustrating Yoruba ambition. How tragic for you.
We build bridges and engage the North because we understand negotiating in life is important as no man is an Island and that you can't go it alone. You lot are now acting like slaves of the North with your defeatist attitude of licking their shoes because you believe no one can lead Nigeria other than Hausa/Fulani.
Watch Yorubas, a people who don't give up and don't believe in cheaply riding on the back of others, prove you wrong as we have done before and will continue to do. Cheap Clap trap. Did you read through your comment and see how stuppid you sound? You guys served the North as slaves in 2015 in a bid to get the Presidency abi? Now what makes you think we can't build same "bridges" you guys purportedly built? So when the Yolobas fooolishly gave the North their vote in 2015, it wasn't lickin their shoes? But if Igbos try it, it becomes slavery? Tell me why a special thunder from Mali mixed with a Little lighting from Ethiopia will not destroy your flaccid akpa amu? Its not anythinh defeatist bro. Its just necessity. We are not duking anything out with you people. Drag it in APC with the fooolish Igbos there. We already know the APC deal. Our own deal is simply Kwankwaso and Peter Obi! Am aware this combo will send shivers down your scrotal sac... But cry me a river bro. Its a done deal. We are not contesting and the Yorubas are not getting it either. |
Politics › Re: 2019: Igbos reactions to Yoruba 2023 Presidency dream Is Pathetic & Pitiful by BillGoldberg: 4:57pm On Dec 24, 2018 |
Oshigun: Superb response. Where is the mythical Igbo bravery? Since Fashola and Osinbajo have demonstrated the change in Yoruba thinking in the modern age I warned them SW folks now work with ?
We will now go after what we want without mincing words. No more political correctness. We helped create APC and played our part in its success at State at federal level and we expect reward for that. Politics 101.
Igbo response to the direct and amitious approach of Fashola, Osinbajo and others has been very disappointing. They have not manned up or shown any interest to square up against us. Instead, like those accustomed to losing, they have lamely gone around saying they will not run and will be happy for the North to field a candidate they will then get behind to defeat us.
In short they are not interested in something as transformational as the Presidency and would rather focus vengefully on doing anything that impedes the success of the Yorubas who are now showing ambition and a united focus.
How incredibly cowardly and defeatist. Whatever happens in 2023 at least Yorubas are showing Liver and I know doing this will always be feared and rewarded by others unlike where Igbos , with their cowardice, have put themselves.
Others don't even have minimal regard for them because all Nigeria can now see that Igbos don't respect nor act as if they believe in themselves. They are now seen as a "food is ready" group alwayd waiting to eat without taking part in the cooking process. Sad. Your stuppid blackmail will not work. We already have your antidote. We already know that because of Biafra issue, many tribes will be skeptical of an Igbo presidency. So the least we can do is to frustrate any attempt by you guys to get the presidency through the backdoor! You guys did it to Jonathan in 2015 abi? You signed a pact with the North and betrayed the South. Your reward is coming in hot and sweet. What happened to Abiola will be child's play to what Osibunjo or Fashole will suffer in the South. Your only play is to have the North support you guys which I know will never happen. Igbos will simply sacrifice their turn to get revenge at what you guys did. Its nothing about defeatist. Its simply politics of necessity.
Osibunjo won't even get 1% in the whole East and South. What you guys did to Obi will be childs play compared to what that fake pastor will suffer. |
Politics › Re: 2019: Igbos reactions to Yoruba 2023 Presidency dream Is Pathetic & Pitiful by BillGoldberg: 4:52pm On Dec 24, 2018 |
Atimes I wonder why my Igbo brothers engage this low lives. Thats usually our problem. We already know that these people mistrust us. So the least we can do is to frustrate any Yoruba presidency by playing politics of necessity. How do we do it? We all know that Igbo presidency is not a do or die affair like its for the Yorubas. The Igbos just need a standard play ground for all to prosper. Either that or give us our country. Now what is the Politics of necessity am talking about? Igbos will be commiting a political suicide by presenting a candidate in 2023 to compete against a Yoruba man in 2023. The smart thing to do is to play politics of necessity. Simply field another Northern candidate like Kwankwaso or Tambuwal with A south South VP like Wike or South East VP like Obi or Ekweremmadu! Voila! There goes the Yoruba dreams of having a President chosen by them! The aim here is to frustrate Yoruba presidency. So give another 8 years to the North! Shey na only them sabi backstabbing? |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Life Savings Of 250k by BillGoldberg: 4:00pm On Dec 24, 2018*. Modified: 11:23am On Dec 25, 2018 |
First and foremost, do not contact anybody from this site or drop your email or phone number. Most Nigerians are hungry animals and will rip you off that 250k you saved already! You have been warned. Simply go through advices and pick the ones that best suit your life.
As an aside, Please do not pay any stuppid tithe neither should you buy any stuppid Keke. Keke Business is almost saturated and you will be harassed on a daily by touts and passengers!
You have some options now. Two of the answers are already here.
First and foremost, why not open a lesson centre from the money you have already? You can even teach adults as per adult education. You can also teach a large number of your school pupils as per afternoon lessons.
Go and learn barbing in your area ASAP! Relocate to a low cost city like Onitsha or Ibadan and open a Salon! With a Salon, you have solved two problems. Housing and Salary because you will also be sleeping there. That means that rent is off the case. Wake up early morning and baff somewhere. Find a way to shitt and also feed. It mustn't be Onitsha. Lagos is ok too. But why I didn't mention it is because unless you have someone or a relative in Lagos... You may suffer accommodation issues! I swear.
Another great option is to learn driving ASAP! Find someone to teach you expert driving because the cities you will be driving in requires such. Also start processin drivers licence immediately if you dont have one! When you are done learning, come to Naira land here and request for a car. Pray to God to find a good partner who may also give you temporary accomodation in Lagos! Sign up on Uber and Taxify and start driving! You will be seeing your daily feeding money at least! Thats it.
The third option is for you to start clothes business with some money you saved. Mind you, don't invest all. Come to Onitsha with like 80-100k. Buy cheap okirika clothes and start selling in schools around you! With the said amount above, You can buy clothes that will fill 7-8 Onions bags. You can also buy cheap party china wears. From your description, you seem to stay in an area not too developed. So I guess, they wont know the difference. Carry your clothes around and sell in schools, universities and colleges of educations. Also go around school hostels shouting "Things For Sell". It pays a lot.
Fifth and Final option is use some part of the money and buy a laptop if you don't have one already. Start Yahoo Yahoo! It maybe long before you pick but if Satan is on your side, a good maga will change your story forever. I don't want to say God because God does not like evil! Am just being realistic bro. (PS: This is a joke and just for fun. I dont and will never support this.)
But never ever go for masters! Its useless. There is little or no white collar job in Nigeria now. The few available ones either pay peanuts or the high paying ones need connection to get! Don't learn any useless computer skills! You may remain hungry Don't become a Keke driver! You will suffer! Think big and become big! |

I don't know why I love Wike so much. This man makes me so proud. If 2/5 of Igbo governors we have are like Wike... The greater South would have been a London by now! Look at the last election of 2015! Only Wike got over a million votes for Jonathan! Governor talk and do... If you do anyhow, you see anyhow! One vote for APC, one bullet for you.
This man is just like me. Match force with force... Match hate with hate! Never love those that hate you. How I wish most Igbos will be like this man... Just ignore whatever nonsense they are doing to Peter Obi now and wait for Osibanjo, Fashola or another Western cretin they will present in 2023! |

Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by BillGoldberg: 8:33am On Dec 24, 2018 |
Fahrenz: Bro. There are too many stupid people in the world. Too many lazy people. We all have lazy relatives. We all have that relative that always reasons left. Imagine that person as an uber driver. They will make excuses for Africa.
Uber driving is peculiar. Not everyone can do it. Funny thing is those that cannot do it are blocking the view of those that can. Unserious people exist in every facet of life. Let the mentality that every uber driver is perfect and sane, stop. You see them complaing no request no request but go to any shoprite and you will find over 50 uber and taxify drivers parked there and gisting. Doing nothing. Waiting for request to come to them instead of being proactive with their positioning. How many people come to shoprite and where is their likely destination except short distances? How will they get request? There will be surge in Surulere and Yaba in the morning, but you will see 25 - 30 uber drivers on airport queue waiting. Waiting for what and who exactly? How many flights come in by that time? How will they get request? These are verifiable facts.
Many people don't have sense. You and I know this fact. How can you give a corolla to someone that doesn't have sense and expect him to deliver? Many of the uber drivers that are making this money have the same mindset, which is being their own bosses. So they know they cannot drive a car forever. That's why they hustle hard, make money, and invest in other stuff. But when someone that doesn't have sense is given the sharpest tools, he won't achieve nothing. How can someone wake up by 8am, start work by 10am and close by 6pm and still expect to meet up? There are very simple traits of hustlers that are inherent in them. It cannot be learnt and it cannot be taught. A hustler will always find a way. A non hustler will always complain.
There is always a surge most mornings in Lagos even before this seasonal surge. A surge occurs because riders outnumber drivers and why won't they be outnumbered when they are sleeping?
See people making money these past few weeks and posting results. I can still tell you that there are drivers here who did not still meet up with their rentals this same week that ended because they are fuckingly lazy. Try as much as you want to demonize dru23. He is saying the truth. It's just that majority of Nairaland drivers are too daft and lazy and will do anything to defend themselves including logging in with the various accounts they use for car begging, and liking their own posts when the truth is hit on their head.
Partners should wise up. If there was no money in this business the companies would have folded up. Drivers are the problem. All a partner should do is make sure his cars are in perfection before giving them out and watch the pattern of those drivers. Sack anyone who sleeps too much. If everyone slept as much as they do, things won't work out.
Give a lazy man the sharpest tools and send him to farm. He will still find a way to complain.
I know a guy on HP. He sleeps all day. But works all night. He owed his landlord. Because he prioritized paying his HP rental than his house rent. Sacrifice. He had a goal. Now he has paid off the car. These ones here want to pay 25k, sleep all day, eat the best food, have enough airtime and data for rubbish, flex, and be patted on the back for being a driver. Rubbish. Change your hustle. Return that car.
I won't stop exposing them. If after all these your epistles and you still give a dead car to a driver, you are a mad man! Pure mad man! Noise Maker...

Fahrenz: thats what we keep hearing. But no one has died yet. More drivers are signing up. More partners are buying cars.
Someone posted a statistic of 134000 active uber riders and only 9000 active drivers. Meanwhile. Uber has over 20000 registered drivers. That's uber alone. That is what we should talk about, facts. Not permutations. Dead car dead driver and no partners was the same song being sang last year when uber reduced fares. Why haven't all partners gone underground?
Answer is simple. There are hardworking drivers out there making money for their partners and taking care of the cars they drive. They are not on Nairaland. I know a driver that comes from abeokuta to drive in Lagos and he hasn't defaulted. Don't allow the congregation of lazy complaining Nairaland drivers becloud the truth.
Facts only I wanted to say you are very stupidd for this comment. But after realising that your stuppidity is a genetic inheritance, I decided not to call you stuppid. Its in the lineage and my comment changes nothing. So, I will pass.
