You can't blame him for not responding in time to those allegations. Reason, he made this post since Nov last year and it made it the the front page just yesterday (only God knows what our mods are up to, maybe they want to help the brother out with info). So he cud have forgotten about the post since there is no way he could get an alert that his post has some replies. Just what I think.

Is it only on val's day that you buy gift for your partner? What happen to buying a surprise gift for him/her any other day of the year? I learnt driving with an auto tranny and I didn't have any difficulty riding a manual cos b4 I took up a manual I've done done theoretical work on how to drive a manual tranny and watch drivers whenever I sit close to a driver. Now I drive both auto and manual randomly. The truth is that you exert more pressure with the manual especially in traffic. And with the auto, it's like you are too relax while driving and it feels like you are not involved in the control of somethings (guess you know what I mean) like manipulating the gear system to your taste.

Manual cars are not phasing out please. As you rightly said, fish or meat, let everyone enjoy the one he likes most and not despise the other.

@topic I know a family, the man is a prof of public health (medical doctor) and a UNICEF ambassador while the wife is also a prof too. They have just a daughter who is grown up now. But she never enjoyed the company of the parents for the period I knew her cos the parents were always travelling within and outside the country for academic.seminars and functions. She enjoyed the company of church members who were like a family to her. She will always tell me that we don't, know how Lucky we are to have sinkings. I can still remember that she will never study to the level of been a prof cos she want to have time for her children unlike her parents. Now she is studying law and thank God for the parents cos they now spend time with her unlike b4.

I blame the ministers in charge of such congregations cause once the head is faulty the, whole body will be faulty too. The moment a "pastor" sees nothing wrong with the way his congregation do things and decide to play along, then the members will throw caution to the wind and begin to do things by their will.

To them it's just fun but I think it's a nuisance that is now eating up nairaland like a fast spreading epidemic. I wouldn't recommend a ban anyway, rather, those posts should be hidden. I don't know why the Seun and the mods aren't doing something about it.
