AlphaT1: Hahhahaha, that's why I said you are not informed, just don't comment on what you have limited knowledge in. Acetaminophen is another scientific name for paracetamol (mostly used in the U.S). Aspirin and Ibuprofen are NSAIDs and not paracetamol substitutes. They are analgesics (pain killers) with very little anti-pyretic effect. No doctor in his right senses would ordinarily start giving you NSAIDs for pyrexia. Aspirin and Ibuprofen are not good in ulcer patients, asthmatics, infants etc. Paracetamol is not contra-indicated in the above conditions. I am using simple plain language so you would understand. It is because you are in Nigeria where everything goes, if not only trained professionals handle drug matters overseas. I rest ma case oga pharmacist,d acetaminophen stuff was an act of commission. |

AlphaT1: You are uninformed, you knw little about drugs. You regard paracetamol as an ordinary drug, it is not. Infact it has no substitute, it's the only agent in its class. It is a life-saving drug, the best anti-pyretic that no drug has been able to beat. Learn to get informed before commenting on what you have little knowledge in. If only you have idea of how expensive and time- consuming drug research is, you would appreciate the scientists involved.
Also, selling made in china drugs as u put it, is legal and most encouraged in a developing nation like Nigeria, for those that meet minimum standards. These are generics and are more affordable compared to brands that majority of the population cannot afford. common are u telling me paracetamol has no alternatives hav u heard of aspirin, ibruprofen, acetimophen. |

Warship: Sometimes you talk without deep research and reasoning.
One reason we lost the war, was because no one knew how to build ammunitions technology
If the Biafrans, knew how to produced bullets and shells, the money they spent importing one bullet, would have been used to produce 100 local bullets/shells.
The capacity to produced 100 local bullets/shell for one foreign bullet/shell, would have meant more bullets/shells for Biafra troops.
So the technology that we lacked that rendered Biafra weak is the bullet/shell technology and also jet engine technology
Till today, bullet/shell technology and jet engine technology are yet to be developed. If they cnt make bullets, they shld hav made enuff catapults sticks & stones abound everywhere. |

Billyonaire: You do not end militancy by killing your citizens. These murdered young men would have probably make better Presidents and Captains of Industries. In a sane clime, schools are built and citizens developed to conquer the worlds and defeat poverty.

bizme: With the way the pharmacy profession is, every single pharmacist is supposed to be multimillionaire. Unfortunately this is not so. And that emanates from the structure of the discipline. As a discipline, pharmacy has two sides: the professional aspect and the business aspect. Both work hand in hand. Most Nigerian pharmacists focus on a tiny part of the professional aspect which in most cases sees them counting tablets and doing no more. But when he/she attends to the business aspect and is willing to take risks, his/her professional training will fetch him a gold mine doing business.
I just love the profession. Multimillionaires for producing drugs like paracetamol or selliing made in china drugs like chemists? |

AutoJoshNG: Is this real or am I dreaming?
This abandoned Lamborghini Countach which has an estimated price tag of N200million ($500k) was spotted in Abule Egba, Lagos by an instagramer @teatealorpeyy.
This automotive icon is powered by a V12 mid-engine accelerating from 0-60mph in 4.7 seconds with a top speed of 295 km/h (183 mph). The Countach was produced between 1974 and 1990; it is currently regarded as a rare vintage car.
It reminds me of the cars in Arnold Schwarzenegger's Total Recall.

wink2015: Dangote when are you coming to the Niger delta region to invest? Many of your cement trucks littered the road side of Niger delta town like Warri.
Some of the cement trucks are constituting a road nuisance and safety hazard. That is the only impression we have of Dangote in Warri. Nothing more. No Dangote industries in the Niger delta region. Besides Dangote is making so much from supplying cement in the Niger delta region.
So long as our Nigerian Businessmen concentrate their investment in mainly Lagos ignoring other parts of Nigeria broad based development of our country will continue to elude us. It is an over saturated Lagos our Businessmen prefer to invest. I blame the government for not spreading development to other parts of the country. Do not blame it on the restive youth in the Niger delta. I am saying so because before the youth restiveness or militancy started no government has ever seen or taught it wise to develop the Niger delta. Many Niger delta businessmen like the Ibru family, Chief Great Ogboru, Chief Otega Emerhor concentrated their investment in Lagos. It was when people like Chief Great Ogboru, Chief Otega Emerhor wanted to be governor of Delta states that they started tracing their roots to their Delta state. If you look at the bulk of their investment it is all concentrated in Lagos states. People like late Gamaliel Onosode, Movie entertainer like the late Justus Esiri all invested in Lagos. I am not saying that investing in Lagos is all that bad but I am saying that do not do it at the expense of your own home or state.
See the Warri port nothing is happening there. It is a deserted land.
The pdp administration of Ibori, Uduaghan and more lately Governor Okowa killed Warri denying the town and other delta state town the needed economic lifeline. No industries, no infrastructure, infact industrialization was never in their agenda. Stealing or looting of public funds was all we had of governors like Uduaghan most especially.
former governor Uduaghan never brought any development. No foreign investment, no local investment during his time as governor. Uduaghan went on a stealing and looting spree of the delta state treasury till he exited public office. That is the misfortune of delta state. Warri is not an investor friendly town,d youths are restive, lazy & violent just see how they drove oil coys out of warri, blowing pipelines & other national assets how many town hav d luxury of a refinery & a seaport in 9jeria?Tell yur sons 2 1st invest in warri, dnt charity begins @ home?dnt blame Dangote 4 yur problems. |
