Shinatu: I just wonder how a woman will go out and sweet it out to pay School fees, house rent, put food on the table, buys chlothes (for those with growing Children, that can be a huge budget), social obligation and you say it should not 'get into her head'? that she should remain sweet and nice and still carry out her 'duties'? Is it ahuman being we are talking about or 'Super woman'.

Even the men that have the responsibility of providing for the household will not let you rest with their 'do you thing i am plucking money from a tree' attitude, they move in the house like Masters and feel the least you could do is serve them for all the financial load they are carrying but you want the woman to carry the same load and be sweet, humble and nice.

Make you no go look for work, or if you are a young man, start to chanel your energy to productivity and develop skills that will enable you cater for your family

Are u in the same time zone with your MIL

Some mothers are burdened greatly to pray for their children due to visions or so... its just that that time will be bad for u

Do you know how many spiritual battles she has fought on theat boy - Untimely death is real

Somepeople are praying for mothers to be praying for them
Others complain their hubby no dey read bible or pray

U dey complain. ok o

Anyhow stop the prayer.. when the matter gbengen,,, na una for suffer am

I like this post

vanitty: You don't want advice, you just need to vent but you are obviously disturbed and you been unhappy will eventually affect your home.

In situation like this, please do not attempt to "complain" especially since hubby seems to be tied to his mother's wrapper or start some silly competition. (Me or her)

There are many ways to skin a cat I tell you, I will advice you to be in fact more involved, be in their "business" it will be awkward at first especially if you are not the in-your-face kind of person

If mama want her son to be reading three passages every night, you are her inherited daughter, open bible and start reading with husband.

If mama calls at unholy hours, after they have spoken, tell hubby to pass you the phone and talk to her as well.

If mama reminds you that she used to be the owner of the wardrobe, playfully tell her that hubby will have to buy another one niyen o because you are now part of the family.

You need to do everything "politely and respectfully" to let it sink in to both son and mama that you are now one, this is a process but you will see with time when she is assured that you are not "stealing" her son away she will relax and back down!

It is well, in-laws especially single mothers that suffered eh to train up their children, you have to deal with them diplomatically at times. It is not easy for them to just let go

plz i need a hand here
(1)simplify sin90 + cos¤
(2)using the laws of indices and logarithm, find x if 2^x=x^2
not sure i get the q but i will try

1. sin 90 + cos x = 1 + cos x

2. log 2x = log x2
x log 2 = 2 log x

x/log x = 2/log 2

x = 2

looks like shortcut though
FamilyRe: Is There A Happy Polygamous Home? by biolabee(m): 7:36pm On Jun 18, 2013
from the same article
http://www.slate.com/articles/double_x/doublex/2013/06/polyamory_should_be_legal_it_s_consensual_and_fine_for_children.single.html

But studies have found that diverse parenting environments, including polyamorous ones, aren’t necessarily better or worse for the children involved. In fact, children in some plural families can actually benefit from the increased resources, care, and flexibility that additional adults provide. From a global and historical perspective, the phenomenon of the two-parent nuclear family is relatively new, and not the only environment that can be healthy for children. The happiness and well-being of kids in all kinds of families (monogamous, polyamorous, heterosexual, homosexual, or single-parent) depend far more on things like stability, boundaries, support, and love—not on the private, responsibly conducted sex lives of the adults involved.

dayokanu: Isnt it absurd that the only thing you owe the parents who fed him solely for the first 20yrs of his life, Sent him to school and trained him to make that money is Gratitude

But the woman he met 5yrs ago, he owes half of his wealth to?

If the wife deserves half of his fortune due to her advice, Does she also deserve half of his jail term or why isnt Bernie Maddof wife sharing jail time with him.

Michael Jackson doctor, Conrad Murray, the money he makes from treating Jackson lets say 100m his wife deserves half, Does the wife also deserves half of the Jail term he is enjoying now.

If a man goes bankrupt and his assets are to be auctioned to pay creditors, Would they also auction those of the wife too, Including the car and jewelries she bought herself from her money while in the marriage.

Since the wealth they made positive and negative should be split equally?

The law is flawed and doesn't justify this woman stealing off her husband, its like a Saudi man saying its justified to behead a woman for not covering her head
EducationRe: Nairaland Mathematics Clinic by biolabee(m): 7:16pm On Jun 18, 2013
mathefaro: we can use l'hospital rule or other wise. Using l'hospital rule requires that we differentiate each term in the expression given.:
lim (SinX)/X ==> lim (cos X)/1
(the differentiation of sinx and x are cos x and 1 respectively)
therefore bringing in the 0 we have;
(cos0)/1 = 1/1.
therefore Lim. (SinX)/X as x tends to 0 = 1
tx bro.. i knew it had to do with some derivative stuff

nice one smiley
EducationRe: Nairaland Mathematics Clinic by biolabee(m): 6:11pm On Jun 18, 2013
if i remember correctly

the limit theorme states the lim f(x) as x tends to a number a is the derivative function at x = a

if f(x) = sinx/x

f'(x) = (cosx. x - sin x)/x2

f'(x) = cos x/x - sin x/x2
at x = 0

this gives 1/0 ... not sure where i missed it
gurus.. any helphuh

Interesting dialog

genearally in my experience here in Nigeria, a lot of the issues that women complain about are also being suffered by the man

low wages, no jobs, access to education and opportunities
if we have better governance, these common issues will be solved

Companies not giving working maternity leave in my opinion is more of a compliance issue with the law rather than male oppression
Such a company is flouting the law and would still be averse to granting [paternity leave or fleexible working conditions

Sort out social injustice and all these feministic issues will be sorted out

ish

For the educated ladies i know here, they are outearning their male counterparts and have steady careers.

I still dont know that the feminists are on about

@Royal

the Yorubas and Binis are not inbred
Per the legends, the Binis needed a ruler over their people and one of Odua's sons was sent to rule
