steady986:Done. You went to rest abi? More than enough drama in lala land this year. Me I want to see westbrook burn down the team ![]() |
A40:Gotta agree here. No one wants that feeling that maybe you could have done more in your career. If Brady feels like he can get one more, let him. Buuut, Gisele is also within her rights to be selfish and insist its time to go vacationing and see the world. That is part of marriage, old school or new school, your partner has some rights on your waka. I hope they work it out, but then, they have another 40 years, assuming good health to do other fun stuff. If you love the man, let him sunset with satisfaction. Ohanian is probably not too happy about Serena's attempted comeback, because all that extra practice time must have taken away from family time, no way around it. But sometimes, you gotta hold off and let your partner go for it. Better that than a partner that resents you in old age. |
where is smooshchn btw. now that I think of it, I have seen him sparingly this offseason. bro wey you na |
Android17:Fairenough, we can disagree on how much we all hate you ![]() But those stats dont show anything about warriors. I think we are seeing a return to normal after the covid slump. I expect this year to be even higher |
Killrhymz01:did you change your email? |
I sent invites out for Nairaleague! If anyone else want to join, please ping me. We will try and have 12 participants this year. I believe the league is that deep. If you dont get it, please ping me. I will also try and reach out to everyone individually |
Roland17:I think this warriors ring is the most uncelebrated championship I have ever seen. Outside of warriors fans, no one cared. Not even sports news. Warriors fans still roaming about 3 months later trying to settle imaginary scores is laughable. |
joephemzyz:yee! yeeee! bros send me your email so I can send you an invite lol |
This is going to be an interesting season. I dont think anyone can reliably predict the favorites to come out of the East or West |
Khanben:I think they are already there? Didnt lack of play time factor into Harden heading to the Rockets. OKC could find itself in the same scenario again. Rockets tried to pick complementary pieces, and even let some young talent go. And it still is a head scratcher how our young pieces will fit into a team that can make the playoffs in the west, and at the same time give them all enough play time. |
A40:Durant and Kyrie have monopolized this summers news cycle. Still, its unusually quiet in lakerland. Maybe they are all watching bronny |
Khanben:They have a reason to tank every season. I felt like Chet was going to be a bust anyhow. Perhaps this is just karma? aliondo should just suit up if he feels so aggrieved ![]() |
Killrhymz01:And some folks will go from head of household to being voted out, in one week ![]() |
KNIGHTBlaed:Comping up. Season starts Oct 18, so we open up first week of Sept to give like a month for sign ups Im hoping I can find skywalker5 before then. I need some reinforcements after last years beatings |
Killrhymz01:wow what did you do lol. wilkomen! |
A40:Is it not KD? How do we know this is over lol |
benji93:dey take style dey pour kerosene on top firewood. we see you o ![]() |
benji93:To be honest, I think this would be terrible for society. We need more feminine energy in society, not less. Most of the shootings, robbery and assaults and r*pe are men. Like 80% ish. What we really need is women doing things the feminine way and getting paid equivalently. Wether doctor, or model or whatever. There should be no reason to consider MMA a better sport than a beauty contest. You like what you like! Thats why even the women MMA fights, Im not a fan. It feels more like violence p0rn than anything else. I saw one the other day, wey dem panel beat this woman's face like 1980s Peugot 504 . Ha! What kind of society thinks those kinds of depictions of women are ok?But hey, thats just me. Where is ewuro4 btw. Come and chime in pls ![]() Roland17, why u quiet now? lol |
Roland17:Fundamentally, sports is a guy thing more than girl thing. Women have other entertainment options besides watching 5 grown men or women putting a ball in the basket. Wether people want to be politically correct or not, women still gravitate more towards other kinds of recreation. So womens sports like bball, soccer, etc will never be on par in terms of money. This is not a bad thing in itself. |
joephemzyz:Na knightfury o. killrhymz was the team to beat all season, but the finals was the mother of all surprises. The way knightfury take flog am, ha! I have not seen or heard from killrhymz since then. E shock am, bro neva recover ![]() Even smooshchn chop unmerited beating ![]() I kukuma didnt make the playoffs ![]() |
A40:I understand you perfectly. My point is neither of those coaches is the type that instills discipline in players. And neither of them look like the type that mentors others to be great coaches. For example, if Nash had played for Larry Brown, there is no way you come out of that system and not have some Larry Brown type discipline instilled in you. |
A40:When I saw the coaches you mentioned, I started laughing ![]() Don Nelson is an HOF coach, but absolutely no discipline when it comes to defense. He was called mad genius for a reason. Even his offensive schemes were crazy. As far as Im concerned, the only reason Dantoni is still a coach in the NBA is hand check rules. At best this guy is an assistant coach, an offensive coordinator if you will. At one point the guy benched Gasol in favor of small ball ![]() |
joephemzyz:Hei! My mind reach your side just last week sef. Hope you dey kampe? No worry, we dey Buhari matter, we go flog am for you ![]() |
Khanben:I cannot ever remember a play drawn up to give Kyrie or KD easy looks. Ever |
A40:True, but Nash was an advisor. Not even an assistant coach as I remember it. Why would you build a championship team on a coach with no experience? But like android22 alluded to, these guys think too much of themselves. Somehow they thought individual skill would win regardless of coach. They prolly picked Nash because he is a nice guy. No accountability on defense. Just shoot 3s all day. |
felix00:Naah. No, it better not be true |
Android22:I cant argue with this. He does go back and forth, and then try to pretend like he didnt do nothing. He has contradicted himself several times |
Android22:We have to peep these rumors. That how they made it sound like Harden and Durant are now sworn enemies. Until we saw them balling at a concert like last weekend or so In this case, I highly doubt Durant chose Nash. For the simple reason Nash was not even a coach in the NBA when KD was coming to Nets, and had no coaching experience even as assistant coach. Of all the coaches he could have chosen, why would he choose Nash, a player with no coaching credential? With whom he has no relationship with? E no make sense. Nash is all front office. The players didnt mind because they thought their star power would overcome in any case. It is now obvious Nash should not be coaching in the NBA. |
Android22:where did you get this from. They got an OK from KD, Harden and Kyrie, but Steve Nash was brought in by the owners |
felix00:Nash sucks, but KD is going about this wrong, burning all kinds of bridges. If he doesnt get traded that locker room will be very awkward. Way to ruin a career. |
I have been preparing myself for this day. Every time I see him at NBA meets, I know its only a matter of time. The way he would smile and be chill with everyone, you could tell this was an elder that been there, done that, seen it all. The man lived well. I am glad he lived long enough to see what the NBA became. To see the first black president. What a life! |
Khanben:Sexton has never been highly ranked. At best, a streaky shooter. And he doesnt know how to spell defense |
