Business › Re: Nigerians Lament As Banks Slash Withdrawal Limits Ahead Of Christmas by Bishop1monte(m): 3:33am On Dec 03, 2023 |
EtinosaDLaw: A female friend of mine who has a POS stand told me shortly after the cashless policy had ended that she made more than 3 million naira profit in the space of just 4 months. Money she had never made in the entire 2 years that she has been doing POS work. Now, imagine what the banks made that period when money was being sold. Are you starting to see the clearer picture?
Now, if you think that those who profited from selling Naira will just let it continue flowing, then you don't seem to understand the extent of wickedness of some Nigerians. Most POS operators are earnestly hoping and praying for it to happen again, and they depend on the banks to ensure that it happens. Now its left for CBN to save us from what these people are planning to use in cashing out this Xmas.
BTW, let me put it out there that if that day ever comes that Nigerians will return to buying their own currency, then they must as a matter of urgency free Emefiele and replace him with Cardoso. Because the South South will not take it lightly. I rest my case. Does she grow cash at the back of her house. for one to get new notes for customers you have to buy at high rates and sell at higher rates also. |

The sole reason for nysc is to try new places new people and new language for one to understand how diverse the country is. It’s just like being in school, just like South Korea mandates you to go to the army for 1 year |

I am a POS agent, I want you to know the money was successful on that day. There are instances whereby POS shows declined and when you check in app on phone you realise it's successful. Tell the POS agent to show you details of his transaction on that fateful day |

Workch: see, I rarely use hard naira to purchase stuffs. I buy must of my stuffs from the mall or supermarket and guess what, things are even cheaper for me there. I buy a bottle of Trophy without going home with the bottle in a bar for 400naira, I get it for 350 with the bottle at my supermarket. I pay online
I advice you start doing more of transfers, if you want to buy foodstuffs, 20k daily is more enough. That's about 600k monthly.
This election must be free and fair, no matter the price we have to pay Think of how your kids will buy stuffs in school when there’s no money in circulation |
Politics › Re: CBN's "Naira Redesign" Policy Is A Charade. They Know It Won't Work by Bishop1monte(m): 9:34am On Jan 26, 2023 |
Workch: Having a credible election should be the aim of the sitting president and if he needs the CBN to help him to that, he can. He has the constitutional rights to do so.
There will be no extension until after election. The policy is great for me, it's better I suffer for 1month than suffer for another 4years as a result of electing bad leadership.
This policy is the best way of reducing vote buying. It has to work You and these elections matter, if you have kids how will your kids buy things in school or you will open account for them so they make transfer to buy ice cream, biscuits and sweets. We should talk with sense. Advanced countries are still using cash |
