Well noted with thanks valves: Your reference letter does not have to be on a letterhead. When I was about to submit my application, my employer refused to issue a reference letter to me. They clearly stated that letterheads are not for such purpose.
I got a colleague to do a reference for me on a plain sheet of paper. Then I attached my appointment letter last 3-months pay slip and an LOE. That was sufficient.
If your colleague has a company ID card or complimentary card, you can attach it also.
If you have time and resources you can also notorize the letter. |

Yeah thank you I have those handy Looking forward to a reply on the self declared Reference Letter format phabulous88: In addition to whatever letter you senior colleague wants to write for you, it will make sense to include your job offer/promotion letter, payslips, etc. I believe these would be on the company's letterhead |

Good evening house,
One of my previous employer say they can't do me the reference letter, I have told them to put it in a mail thou, the good thing is that one of my senior colleagues is willing to sign off one on a plain paper for me but I joined the company before him and he left the employment 1month earlier than me (I hope this is not an issue?) I need assistance on the self declared format for the reference/experience letter so I will just get it notarize. The formats I have been seeing around is the type that would be on a company's letterhead |

Add 20k to what I highlighted earlier Nickisindigo: I read you graduated from mapoly pls what's the total cost for both ND and HND |
Travel › Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 10 by bishopbusayo1(m): 1:46am On Mar 30, 2021 |
I paid 48k but since its ND alone she would pay 28k, they collected 13k for courier which I did not use. I used ext.ng it's 5,050 for ND transcript alone. I advise she pays the ext.ng fee and get the RRR NUMBER before she applys with the school for the transcript as it's better she states it on the transcript request form the encrypted email address the school will send the transcript to for extNg's use. It was during the lockdown so they worked on it only on Mondays....It took like 4 months. I hope this helps claseek: @bishopbusayo1 , good afternoon.
Sorry to disturb you o, I saw from the previous thread that you mentioned you finished from Mapoly and processed your Wes. I’d really really appreciate if you briefly explain what’s the process is like.
My sis has an ND from Mapoly and and. B.sc from another school. What’s the cost and the process for ND transcript. I’ll really appreciate your feedback. Thanks in advance. |

Thanks alot. It worked after revoking the gckey as you advised and profile is active in the pool now Ikepooni: Revoke your gckey and create another account from scratch. Check the following:
1.Make sure your NOC code is either under O, A or B. NOC “C” is not eligible for express entry.
2. Check the number of hours of work you inputted. It should be calculated per week e.g 30hrs per week. 30hrs per week is the minimum number of hours eligible for express entry.
3. Check your POF. Make sure you use the exact figure required for relocation for 1 applicant.
Try that and see how it goes |

There are various reasons such as tie breaker rule and even with low CRS a province can see you and give you nomination. Never waste time. the second you have your ECA and any IELTS score ready, enter the pool. You can always edit the IELTS once your new result is out. |

Thanks alot for this clarification The thing is I have a Big brother that residents in Montreal and he advises I chose there so that settling down will be very easy as he is willing to help with accommodation and a comfortable job to start with but it would only be possible if I reside in Montreal. He got his Canadian citizenship this month. I will ask him more about it since he is on ground. shadama: Part of the criteria for applying for EE is that you should not be planning to live in Quebec. And yes they do have their own immigration program. Look at this link under "Where you can live in Canada".
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/eligibility/federal-skilled-workers.html#where
I think people do get PR through EE and go and live there, not sure what the consequences are (maybe when you apply for citizenship they can use it against you? Or you may have to prove why you moved there or something)... just speculating sha. Maybe ask on the living in Canada thread, there maybe people that have done it |

Wow this is well noted. Thank you for the information ShoeShineGuy: Bishop, you've partially answered the question. They have their Immigration pathway as you noted, which is also completely independent of the FSWP. You can't come in via FSWP and stay there; the reason why when you're opening your EE profile and/or submitting your application post-ITA, you should avoid selecting them as a province you want to settle. There have been reported cases of rejection because of such avoidable and silly mistake.
I think if you so love Québec as a province, you either learn French and apply through their Arrima pathway/portal OR relocate there after you have earned your Canadian citizenship, that is after you've completed your 3-year stay as a PR. |

Yeah.....I noticed Thank you Aigbemare: I don't think so. They do have a separate process and if you notice on IRCC website when you're filling your profile, Quebec isn't on the option for selecting provinces of interest. Unless perhaps you get into Canada then get a job in Quebec. |
