LordAdam: Abeg, do not call those politicians.
Soludo's only major achievement under OBJ was market recapitalization. He is a corporate ass-licker like Emefiele. And now a politician, we cannot have a politician there who will be doing APC versus PDP with critical monetary policies. His recent utterances prove he will use the position to score cheap political points.
Madam BBOG is another technocrat cum politician. If you read her recent tweet criticizing Emefiele, you will marvel at the level of ignorance she displayed, comparing Nigeria to Russia. She can manage ministry of women affairs not a critical ministry like finance. She will play politics with it.
PMB needs to bring technocrats with very little exposure in the political scenery, preferably with western financial education and experience to hold these lofty positions. Nigeria is the 21st largest economy in the world right now out of 190 countries. We cannot be playing politics or doing hit and miss with our economy. I know we have many of them, (our population is around 170 million, ninth largest in the world, so he cannot say we only have politicians to fill those positions) it is up to him to scour for them.
-Lord I agree with you, their political affiliations have tainted their professional expertise. They, especially Soludu will be easily manipulated based on their exposure. We need people that answer to no one except the good of the country. Better suggestions anyone? |

Pavore9: I am fully aware of what l am saying. We are so sucked up into believing that we cannot survive without oil. Kenya have discovered oil few years ago and have not even began production nor eager to rely on it because just like their President said they don't want to make the same mistake Nigeria made, She found oil and ignored other things! A litre of petrol for over the years sold for N224 in Kenya till last year when it came down to N180 but the transport fare in Kenya is far cheaper in comparison to Nigeria that sells under N100 per litre, this you can verify from any Nigerian living in Kenya. Domestic flight is also cheap, the same flight duration between Lagos and Abuja that is above N20,000 in Nigeria goes for N8,000 in Kenya and Nigeria happens to a oil producing Country!
Do you know how many billions of dollars Kenya earns from tourism and agriculture? 75% of Rose flowers sold in Europe is from Kenya and every night different airlines depart with cargoes of fruits, vegetables and flowers from Kenya heading to Europe to be sold in markets across Europe the next day. Nigerians go to Europe to buy the same flowers Kenya exported there!
Nigeria will NEVER die because of the fall in price of oil rather the crash will wake her up! A mature, clean and sensible argument. |

Etfash: We have seen similar products online and in the news before. It's time, Innoson got more serious. People will not just purchase your product(s) because it's indigenous.
If I have my way, I will sack the entire marketing department of that company. Here is a product that is definitely cheaper, relative to foreign manufactured ones, made in a country with above-board taste and resources. Yet, the product is so poorly marketed.
What is the price of these vehicles? No idea!
My advice: Innoson, get more serious by engaging in aggressive marketing: buy advert time in the news and dailies. Come and set up a factory in Ogun or Lagos state to be more visible; invade the peaceful parts of the North (give a few as gifts to the Northern leaders and elders), establish IVM repair points in Kano and Kaduna... It's rare to see pragmatic thinkers like you in,NL. The site has been flooded with tribal bigots screaming pity me, pity me. If I were the FG, why would I buy vehicle in the name of nationalism when I have no information about its Durability. We were all here when KIA MOTORS came to Nigeria, they were ignored at first until they marketed straight to the tip of our noses till we couldn't ignore them. From University campuses, given pageant winners their cars to soft loan scheme for young workers to TV adverts to traditional rulers. KIA sits comfortably among noticeable brands in Nigeria now. The laziness in us wants federal government to do everything. As if the other countries that give us grants and HIV vaccines don't want something for something. If we do not learn to fight for our place, we would not see the value in our standing. If only Innoson had a show room in the big cities.I'll willingly come over for a test drive and if it's worth it, itbe my next ride. |

Nonybb: If Buhari declares that Godwin Emefiele and Ibe Kachikwu are Igbos, he is not wrong. Someone must not be from your own village, speak the same brand of Igbo with you before you know he is Igbo. Ostensibly I know that Buhari is an error as a leader, but with his recent statement, he was able to prove that he understood Igbo tribe more than some Igbos. Hausa tribe had been able to merge themselves with the Fulanis, calling themselves Hausa-Fulanis and that is why they had been able to repeatedly dominate Nigeria politically. We must take advantage and cognizant of this tribal alliance the Northerners had been using as an advantage. When appointments are given to Anioma people of Delta state, Ikwere people of Rivers state, Igbanke people of Edo state, etc, let us collectively see it as Igbo man fully appointed. Let there be no contention amongst us, and lets get ride of that supremacist mentality of one state being more Igbo than the other. We are all Igbos as long as we can pick one or two similarities between within our Igbo spoken language. You look at lagos and envy lagos as if lagos is the only state in the south west. Lagos got here because it's leaders decided to take the most advantage of what they have. Look at Ogun state, by mere proximity to lagos, Ogun state is fast becoming the hub of industries and manufacturers. Ekiti which should be be bevy of food exporters lies in a shadow of itself. I was shocked to learn the governor was uprooting cocoa farms for am airport!! What a sacrilege! The East is blessed with so many innovators. Look at Innoson motors, how many transporters are using his buses, how many governors in their regimes have banned purchase of foreign vehicles to advertise their son of the soil produce. How many vehicles driving on your rich red soils reveal the tag of Innoson motors on their bonnets. How many of your brothers in lagos sell abakaliki rice and package it like mama gold and all that. And still that rice is healthier than the nonsense the Indians flood our market with. You fail to hold your leaders accountable for not 'fighting' for you @ abuja and you thibk when you have biafra things will change. Coscharis is building a FORD assembly plant in lagos, another of your 'brothers' is building a Toyota plant in lagos too. And you want this industrialists to close shop for you in the name of biafra and blind tribalism , wake up. When you feed on the lies they tell you that government does not allocate money to you because they don't 'like' you. If you don't know, there is no ethnicity when it comes to sharing money up there, they are one in unity. It's when it time for it to reach the common man that ethnicity and religion comes up. Ask your leaders why they cannot push for the ports in the East to be more functional. How come no government has made the roads in Aba, an industrial hub itself, motorable? Importers from Ghana and environs should be running after us by virtue of the goods produced there yet, your brothers cargo the goods through cotonou to bring back to lagos so they are perceived as imported. Buhari or Ambode will not change your fortunes, you and your leaders will whether in Biafra or nigeria or heaven. On the day of reckoning, you're on your own. Foreign Affairs › Re: See What Americans Are Saying On Muslim Ban In The US - Cramjones by bitingcool: 8:21pm On Dec 08, 2015 |
tonychristopher: For years, Israel has been demonized, held responsible for every terrorist atrocity from blowing up Holocaust survivors at a Passover Seder to the mutilation and murder of her Olympic athletes. It was all Israel’s fault, because she had mistreated the poor Palestinians. The French welcomed thousands of Muslims to France. They made them citizens, gave them access to everything the Western world has to offer.
The French sided openly with the Palestinians, and had a hands-off policy towards Muslims, making their neighborhoods no-go zones for the police.
Their reward? Mass killings in supermarkets, magazine offices, restaurants, a sports arena, and a concert hall by Muslims. But why? After all, the French were so “nice?” After the most recent French atrocity, ISIS, claiming responsibility, posted the following on its website: “Hundreds of apostates were attending an adulterous party.”
That’s right. That’s what France is to them. Immoral. According to their standards. And so, they deserve to die. So now, what is France planning to do? To pass a law recognizing a Palestinian State. Huh! What?! To recognize the supporters and accomplices of the people who blew them up? Because that’s what the Palestinians are: radical Muslim terrorists. Our Prime Minister Mr. Netanyahu is flabbergasted, furious. But I’m not. The French want to be “nice,” to spare themselves further terror attacks.
They won’t succeed. Just the opposite. This is a fact. Israel tried that. We gave them the entire Gaza Strip. We uprooted thousands of Jews. Handed over their multi-million dollar hot-house businesses. Gave them our synagogues. We even dug Jewish corpses out of the graves of Gaza cemeteries, many of them put there by Muslim terrorists, and took them out of Gaza before handing it over. We also thought we could be “nice,” make them happy, make them not hate us so much. And what happened? They thought we were idiots. Worse, they thought we were weak. If terror got us to do that, a lot of terror would get us to give them even more. From the site of Jewish settlements and destroyed synagogues, they set up their rocket launchers sending tens of thousands of rockets into Israel, making life unbearable for every Jew within shooting range. They dug hundreds of terror tunnels under the borders, planning a mass, murderous invasion, until the IDF had to finally go in there. And it’s still not over and won’t be until we kick every, single one of them out of Gaza, and re-take it.
That’s the truth for anyone willing to hear it. Last week, Syed Rizwan Farook and his new Pakistani bride, parents of a six month-old baby, who were living the American dream, killed fourteen people, his co-workers, and injured dozens of others. And he was only just getting started on his “jihad.” Police found thousands of rounds of ammunition, pipe bombs, you name it.
Oh, he had big plans, little Syed and his blushing Pakistani jihadi bride. He did this, even though Americans had saved his immigrant parents from that disgusting s***-hole called Pakistan, and provided him with the means to obtain higher education and a high paying job. Even though his workmates had never had any arguments with him, and had indeed, even thrown him and his new wife a baby shower! “They were radicalized,” the President of the United States, that ISIS-lover (that’s what the Egyptians are calling him now) has said. Not the same thing as saying they were terrorists. It means, they were good, peace-loving people but YOU made them terrorists, because … you weren’t nice enough to them.
Listen to Muslim Brotherhood mouthpiece CAIR: “When we support coup leaders in Egypt or other places, when we support dictatorship, oppressive regimes around the world that push people over on the edge, then they become extremists, then they become terrorists.” Loretta Lynch, U.S. Attorney General has addressed Muslim murderers killing Americans by saying she will prosecute anyone engaging in “hate speech” towards Muslims, while CNN’s Anderson Cooper tried to get the wife of a victim – a co-worker who was a Christian who loved Israel – to admit that her husband probably wasn’t “nice” enough to Syed and therefore he had it coming.
Yes, my friends, whatever you do, you can never be “nice” enough to today’s Muslims.
They hate you not because of how you treat them, but because you exist and you don’t believe in their religion... Listen to what I’m going to tell you now. And trust me, as an American-born Israeli who has lived with Muslim terror for fifty years, it’s the truth: They hate you not because of how you treat them, but because you exist and you don’t believe in their religion, or their wondrous prophet. Because you treat women and homosexuals as human beings. Because you won’t agree that they take over your country and your lives, and submit to their rules.
So when you die, they will tell you it’s all your fault. Because you made them mad. You made them really, really mad, so whatever horrors they are at this very moment busily planning to inflict on you (because that’s the only thing they are good at; the only thing they believe in), you deserve them. It is inevitable and you should have seen it coming. And so if you welcome them into your country, and give them good jobs and educations, and you throw them baby showers, and allow their foreign born fiancées K-1 visas to enter the country, they will add to their anger their contempt because you are weak and foolish and don’t understand that they are at war with you and want you dead.
And your politicians, who are still getting advice from CAIR, will outlaw guns to make it easier for them, because they don’t need licenses for guns, believe me. But you will. And the states who had the guts to stand up to Obama’s flooding the U.S. with “refugees” will all back down, the way Texas has. After all, why would you want to fight against a nice Syrian family – two lovely parents, two lovely grandparents, two little kids? And why wouldn’t you give a visa for the lovely fiancée of the environmental health specialist from San Bernardino with their lovely, dimpled six month-old baby? Why?
So you will. And in return you are going to get San Bernardinos all over the U.S.A. Then you will need to live like we live in Israel, except maybe not as safely because the people in charge of your safety have to do what your President, who is such good friends with CAIR, tells them to do, while we are protected by fellow Jews, who have wised up over the years from our own Leftist crazies who got hundreds of us blown up in buses and coffee houses while they were “giving peace a chance,” and giving the Palestinians “good-will gestures” like not frisking them at check-points for weapons, or arming their “police.” Now, we let our slowpoke Leftists talk. But we don’t elect them or give them power, like you did, do, and are planning to do (Hillary is the last nail in your coffin.) Even Mr. Trump, who has said so much that is true, is a slowpoke when it comes to Islam. He’s going to get Israel to “give concessions” to “make peace in six months.”
I feel sorry for you America, France, Great Britain, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Spain. So many more of you are going to die trying to be “nice” to the Muslims. Trying to make life good for them, until you realize they hate you and want you dead no matter what you do for them. You and your wife and your kids. Dead or sold into slavery, or raped or educated to be killers. Dead or willing to be part of their new world order, the great Caliphate. And without a radical change in thinking by the West, they are going to succeed. There is a slim window of opportunity to defeat them. But it would take extreme guts, and extreme measures, which, frankly, I don’t know if you’re capable of.
But here it goes: Take back your country by taking away the power from your ISIS-loving presidents and prime ministers and the people and media who put them in power. Close down the mosques and Muslim Cultural Centers (Islamic Center of North America, CAIR etc. All the Islamic centers and mosques are connected with terror, especially in America, according to John Guandolo, an FBI expert.
It’s not about gun control. Yes, America has a gun problem, and is filled with crazies. But terrorists are not crazy. They are warriors. They will obtain guns to make war, legal or not, and they will use them to kill people and further their agenda. Tightening gun control just at this moment when jihad has come to America isn’t a good idea, because it might mean the victims won’t be able to protect themselves. |

joseph1832: I'm sure if you do a proper research about whether Muslims should be ban in the U.S or not, you'll find that most of the people commenting just hold a minute opinion.
People shouldn't be held responsible for the actions of others. However, they should be held accountable for not outrightly condemning their brothers when they go on killing spree, just to spread their narrow minded views... Very true, in my opinion, I am yet to see a gathering of 'real' Muslims repeatedly condemn these awful continuous Jihadist extremists, save for a sprinkle of rebuke here and there, majority of them are always silent about it. Gives your a perception of silent support. Methinks their religion condones the violence |

Dear Sashafm, I salute your determination and doggedness. It's not unnatural to be disappointed seeing that you set out with such high hopes and expectation. My advise to you is this PERSIST! PERSIST!! PERSIST!!!
Don't give up in your search, just be more tactical and smarter. Write down the salient points you've been advised with. Search smarter. I tell you, people get jobs faster when they inform everyone and anyone they know. So many people have asked for your course of study, let them have it. The opportunity you seek could just be here. I admire your determination, don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
You'll do well darling. |
