[quote author=Amodsun 4. I Love The Fact That We Can Be Trusted It takes a lot of faith and trust for people to share intimate things with you. We are talking about secrets and confidential information here. People literally lay their lives bare before their lawyers. Folks trust us with their lives. It’s humbling. I know it also comes with a great responsibility of not betraying that trust.
You can't be trusted bro. Wetin doctors go say? Or Pastor's wey their ear don full. Folks trust you with their lives so you can defend them with your lies. |
Someone is missing from the pictures. TOKE MAKINWA. |
Even after the scam of N50 stamp duty payment. I wonder why beneficiaries have to be charged for stamp duty AGAIN when the payer has already paid stamp duty at the point of cheque book issuance. Did anyone notice all Nigerian chequebooks carry a stamp duty paid imprint?

klax:Inasmuch as I'll keep rooting for #bringbackBarthNnaji, please note that competence in his area of delegation transcends engineering knowledge. He can delegate and appoint suitable hands to fix the problem. The only challenge is there is little time for trial and error and touring.. The Economy urgently needs power (electricity) to successfully achieve the 'Buy made in Nigeria' plan. Barth Nnaji, somehow, was able to conquer the #blackout demon when he was a Minister. He should be brought back to do it again. |
Rubbish! Gej-out of our way and that Ministry Uncle Fash. No b robe and wig matter b dis..... All we are saying, #bringbackBarthNnaji[/quote # BRING BACK BARTH NNAJI |
omoharry:Weather too hot to dey wear hijab, u want make heat kill rich man pikin? But the bride is beautiful I must say, she looks comfortable in her skin. Nothing overdone. Sweet and natural beauty. |
Jackeeh:I have always wondered why too. When I see boys doing yahoo yahoo, betting, I can still understand that there is a 'benefit' to it. But when people gather in d bush at night with cutlass, gun, machete risking mosquito and snake bite to shout 'odidikpokpodipo ee aah ee' and call themselves Capon and some silly names just so they can intimidate another set of fools, constantly look suspicious for four years or more which MUST be a great task and be avoided by fellow students on campus, I wonder if a part of their neurons didn't escape with their buried placenta at birth. Beats me. Fools forming an eye for an eye when their mates are cleaning out nicely. |

NenweIstson:#BRING BACK BARTH NNAJI as #MINISTER of POWER |
mejai:My brother, God bless you. I want to start a #BRING BACK BARTH NNAJI campaign. He is the only minister I know that gave us uninterrupted power supply while serving. I won't throw shades. I just want an effective person working not some elitist lawyer who has no care about the effect of his 'Tax them all rules' on the masses. #BRING BACK BARTH NNAJI |
Let's stop celebrating these people. The moment they add value to human lives and start working for the masses should be the only time they should be newsworthy. |
I'm amazed how we are all blaming Buhari, Fashola, Jonathan even Lord Lugard. While I do not deny that a percentage of blame rests upon them and the structureless institutions, have we even thought to blame OURSELVES? We elected them to power, they live amongst us (from the disco managers to the elected officials) ,we are related to them, they are protected by armed men who are related to us and who suffer the same pain. They still drive on our streets (whether in a convoy or not) yet, what do we do. We never ask them questions, accosst them to know where the sudden source of wealth came from, we never demand wat we voted thhem in power for. Instead, we are blinded by religious and ethnic and tribal divisions. Will your boss remember you're a Muslim or Christian or Ibo or yoruba or Hausa if you repeatedly fail to do your work and are unproductive ? Yet, we push these old excuses forward to defend looters and sappers of the destiny of our nation and the inheritance of our children. No one tribe has suffered the brunt of corruption. We have ALL suffered it. Still we do not learn. We only become gladiators in social media spaces, fighting each other, wasting away energy on the wrong opponents. Once again I'm surprised we haven't looked inwards, the so called leaders are a little percentage of the followers. Surely, THEY cannot be the problem. WE ARE. The docile, long suffering, priority misplaced, easily swayed, painlessly influenced, tribally separated and cowardice followers. YOU AND ME are to blame. Cos we do not think and know that the people in places of authority (note, not just power) are OBLIGATED to account to us. |

Akkord4gov:My thoughts exactly. Don’t put the cart before the horse. |
dominique:Took about a month. |
ekoson95:ALL SOLDIERS ARE MEN BUT NOT ALL MEN ARE SOLDIERS! |
dominique:It doesn't go directly to the government's pocket. It's insurance in case you hit another car. The problem is most people are ignorant of the fact that they can make claims with 3rd party insurance. Last year, a company's vehicle on 3rd Party insurance hit a Range @ Lekki Junction. After much grammar, I persuaded them to take advantage of the 5k 3rd party insurance. The Range was compensated up to about 85k cos d fender and tyre was off. Lexusgs430:Good point A divorcee rushing into marriage is to be feared. He should even be begging you. He has THREE teenagers!!!!!! That means your initial love love no go long 'cos you will start dealing with issues from the get go. Better excape for your life and thank God for the lie barrier. You never enter the relationship, issues don dey pile up. |
Lexusgs430:I tire oooo, fast lane love, better watch yourself. You could be in lust. Have you also considered that he could also be unforgiving and a tad inconsiderate man? To have begged for so long and he hasn't yielded and he is also 'in this hot love' with you. You're in lust darling, don't let your desperation and eagerness to exit the single club turn you to a divorcee too. By the way, what's the difference between 32 and 35? Its in the same class. |
Wow, you're a courageous man. Few people have the patience to start from scratch. Withh dogged determination and focused planning, you will succeed. Keep it up. God bless your effort. Just remember that you can make it without cheating anyone & be generous to those that deserve and do not deserve it. |
khristals:By all means, go ahead. If you have evidence and can get a good copyright lawyer, who knows, you might be compensated. Make sure you have evidence though. |
RichYoungNigga:Doomsday Predictor, modern day Nostradamus. Clap for yourself. While I admit that the economy is biting now, it will get better as long as we keep looking inwards and stronger policies are put in place.m our jubilation will not turn to sorrow 'cos we are fighting for the economy our. Children will inherit. Just because you want to call Buhari a failure doesn't mean you should wish this country be damned. There are other people living here asides Buhari... and mind you, there's no fear even if it rises to 500, more people will start looking inwards and by God's grace, the heat of the dollar will not only touch you too but burn you enough that you dump everything foreign and every negative language to push for progressive policies and a better Nigeria. Think before you talk. |
Thank you for the tips. Can you please drop a link to an app for oil change alerts? |
plaetton:Bros, whenever you want, I owe you two bottles of whatever premium drink you desire. An absolute shame a group of people will embarrass themselves and others without giving their action a thought. |
publicenemy:Stop acting ignorant. His mum's name is Imade. One of the most beautiful, graceful and amazing women that ever lived. Her memory lives on. |
snthesis:So if Pastor Chris and Anita enter hot oil, who are the followers not to enter ba? Only a fool will follow the steps of Pastor this and that and not what the bible says. Iss there Pastor in the bible or heaven? The problem is most Nigerian Christians especially forget that their MOG is also a Man. It's only the God part they see. The Bible said contend for your faith and fight for your own salvation with fear and trembling. I have no comments concerning their personal lives but this I know. As they press towards the mark of Salvation, if God qualifies them by grace, then they are saved. All d follow follow people that haven't eaten 'belleful' and that don't even know anything about them but want to die on their matter like nairaland tribalists are just wasting their precious time. Allll man for themselves. |
Good for him. Of what use is glorifying Gucci and co. Same mentality that is ruining our nation. We should be ashamed it's only a Mai Atafo piece that is Nigerian there. So annoying, showing the bottom of someone's shoes all to prove a point. As long as we remain slaves to Gucci, Pucci, Giambatistta and co, our industry will remain grounded. Our youth had better get their perspective off the ground. |
timilehing:Very true. The op and his brother have very limited reasoning. Is that how you tell God thank you by looking for those that have wronged you to avenge them? If God now blesses him with more, what will he do? Crush them or splash dirty water on them? Mature people are grateful for progress and move on. |
Happy married life to them. From my candid observation, I think most male folks of this era do not regard the sanctity of marriage. Married men having side chick's, keeping late nights and generally dishonoring the wows they made seem to be the order of the day. Despite having women who deliver the sex, food, looks, money and even the lineage back to back. It seems society has accepted the 'cheating ' toga as a normalcy. What a shame. I pray it's not too llate for broken hearts, disappointed wives and philandering husbands. It's is better to remain single till you can conquer the flesh. |
Akanbiedu:You got it right. An old clever cunning wise dangerous calculated fox. The worst of its kind. I'll watch my back for that type. |
Happy married life to both of them. The bride's complexion looking like maheeda's client. Armpit and fingers plus |
Hello blackkie, I must say thank you for this post. Reading from page one to the end was like attending a Jamb Class. I want to appreciate your open mindedness. I am currently sourcing for clients and would like to speak with you. Also I will love. The farm link in Edo state. |
