DailyPost: Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has declared that the rerun elections in the state have shown clearly who is on ground and who is accepted by the people. He said the rerun elections have proved that the control of INEC, Federal might, military, police and other security agencies cannot not translate to electoral victories as the people will always resist agents of rigging. Governor Wike also accused the defeated the Rivers State APC Governorship Candidate, Dakuku Peterside and his defeated running Asita Asita of hijacking results from Isiokpo in Ikwere LGA on Sunday. The governor also stated that Dakuku Peterside and his security details opened fire and killed an aide to his Chief of Staff, Mr Emeka Woke. In an interactive session with newsmen on Sunday, Governor Wike said that most military men deployed for the elections were used by APC leaders to hijack materials, illegally arrest PDP and manipulate the process. He said that the people resisted the attempt by the military to subvert the election process. "Remember I warned that today's Nigeria is not yesterday's Nigeria. Things that were done wrongly before cannot be done wrongly now. I warned that the people will resist any attempt to rig", he said . He said that it was unfortunate that the military has been reduced to this level when they will be used against public interest. He said the number of military men unleashed to intimidate and harass Rivers people is regrettable as they failed to tackle security challenges. "Now they have the Federal might, Army, Police, INEC and DSS, but we have the people" , Governor Wike said. On the conduct of the rerun legislative elections, Governor Wike maintained that INEC was not prepared in terms of logistics and planning. DISTURBED by the recent announcement of President Muhammadu Buhari that Nigeria had joined a coalition of Islamic countries combating terrorism, an organ of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), National Christian Elders Forum, has revealed that it has on good authority, plans by the Federal Government to impose Sharia Law on every state of the federation. The Christian Forum further revealed that there were some Islamist elements already in the country with the sole aim of Islamising the country. Chairman of the forum, Mr. Solomon Asemota, SAN, supported by Christian leaders like the Bishop of Kafanchan Diocese of Catholic Church, Joseph Bagobiri, among others, the elders told journalists at a press conference that the Islamic elements in the country were already working towards achieving the goal of making Nigeria a Sharia state. “We are aware that there are Islamists in government preparing to execute the Islamisation agenda. Any nation in which Islamists believe that they are sufficiently strong to exercise influence rarely experience peaceful cohabitation among the divergent groups within it. “This is the current situation in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Libya, Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, and the Sudan. Islamism thrives on injustice, inequality and unfairness. We urge Nigerians to remain circumspect so that the Islamists do not drag the nation down the path of destruction “In the build up to the 2015 elections, majority of Nigerians expressed great hope that there would be change in the nation. However, ten months after the new government was sworn into office, credible apprehension can be expressed given the policy direction of the new administration. We hope that the buildup to these policies do not result in full blown Sharia which President Muhammadu Buhari had promised Muslims in Nigeria,” Asemota noted on behalf of other elders. Speaking further on President Buhari’s recent actions which suggest that the motion was already in place to entrench Sharia law, the elders said: “The inclusion of Nigeria in the Saudi Arabia Military Coalition of “Muslim/Arab” nations would appear that the Foreign Policy thrust of the this administration is to make Nigeria a satellite state of Saudi Arabia. The strengthening of the nation’s democracy and security for all should remain the greatest priority of government. “This we see to have been negated by the President’s fiat/ unilateral decision to enlist Nigeria in the 34 nations Muslim/ Arab coalition. Given the emotive and sensitive nature of this unilateral Executive decision, it should have been handled by Mr. President in line with our democratic culture through popular discussion and participation by the citizenry, or at the very least, through the National Assembly.”

Flowrymz: Shortly after the Convocation Ceremony held at Imo State University Owerri, The ASUU IMSU declared a strike after a meeting held at the School Premises by 1pm, A Copy of the Strike Memo was pasted at the school’s front gate and other locations within the school premises.

The former governor who said that he was happy that he lost the 2015 governorship election, noted that with the current state of economy he would have lost sleep.
The former governor, who spoke with newsmen in Abuja, when he visited the national Secretariat of All Progressives Congress (APC), said that he is now a member of APC.
The former governor, who contested the last governorship election on the platform of Labour Party (LP), said: "I pitied the governors because of what they are going through now. I wouldn’t have been able to sleep with these dwindling monthly allocations. That was the reason I said that. I don’t know how I would have coped. It doesn’t go beyond that."
Chief Alao-Akala however, said that, "I’m at the national headquarters of my party, maybe, you don’t know that I’m in the APC. This is just to tell you that I’m a member of the APC. So, I have come to the national headquarters of my party to have a tete-a-tete with my leaders and the national chairman of the party, including my leaders from the South-West in the party structures. That is what I have come here to do."
To this end, he urged Nigerians to believe in the current leadership of APC, saying, there may be challenges initially but there are better days ahead.
According to him, "the change agenda has already started. It has not been the business as usual. Things have started changing. I know it’s purely for good purpose by the grace of God. When you are just coming on board, you will have challenges here and there. But sooner or later, you will get over it."

He work has the commander in IMO STATE RESCUE MISSION and he is the one in charge of Ngor-Okpala and Aboh mbeise LGA for six years before this ugly incident happen on 18 december 2014 which i had to create this thread then.
Some one wrote a partition against him that he (my dad) personally killed someone with a stick and push him out of a moving car in broad day light and till now NO WITNESS has appear in court for this accusation.
The victim was found dead along Aba - Owerri road which was believe to be a hit-and-run sitation because it happens in front of a major filling station which was also covered when the police came for investigation.
Within two days of the partition, some police men from zone 9 Umuahia arrested him on 18th of december 2014 and till now he hasn't be granted bail or release.
We have to pay for fuel anytime the police wants to come for investigation for six months which is up to 20 thousand naira per trip and we also paid 150 thousand naira for autosy to be conducted on the dead victim ( who as been buried when my dad is still on detaintion early last year) and up till now the autosy report is no where to be found.
The police has to delay the case for six months before my dad was charge to court on june last year and we are still fighting the court case couple with the strike in imo state judiciary.
My dad work as a security vigilantee for six years (during Ikedi Ohakim "NEW FACE OF IMO VIGILANTE) later change to (IMO RESCUE NETWORK by the Gov Rochas) and i believe he has stepped on toes because his work involve arresting of kidnapper, oil bunkery , drug smugglers etc who always make use of the boundary between Ngor-okpala and rivers state. Ever since he has been working for the past six years, we have been sleeping with one eye open. Call threat, message and other means has been use to bring him down but God keep saving him till this accusation was lay against him and some people had to sponsor it just to take him out.
The IMO STATE SECURITY NETWORK and the SSA to the governor on security who is my dad boss has keep mute on the matter, no single help has been render to fasting the investigation or the release of their commander who was accuse in his line of work and for sixteen months now he hasn't been visited or question but was left to his fate when he is working for the IMO STATE GOVERNMENT.
The next court case is on 27th of march (THIS MONTH) and to be frank we have run out of idea and fund. This case has dry up the family and we have no place to go for help which is why i have to create this thread for the second time to seek for any help on how to work this out.

CastedDude: Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has alleged plot by the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi and INEC National Commissioner, Mrs Amina Zakari to swap authentic results from polling units with fake results on March 19, 2016.
Speaking during the grand finale of the Rivers East Senatorial District Campaign Rally of PDP at Elele in Ikwerre LGA, Governor Wike said: "All those who plan to swap result sheets, may their souls rest in peace. Nobody will rig in Rivers State.
"Anybody who thinks Amaechi will give them result sheets to swap, should be ready to swap their dead bodies. I have told the REC, you were here before, you can't play games with me ".
The governor said it is his responsibility to take steps to stop politicians plotting to rig elections in the state with the connivance of INEC National Commissioner, Mrs Amina Zakari.
He informed that the University of Port Harcourt Vice Chancellor was compelled by Amaechi and APC leadership drew up a list of INEC Adhoc staff dominated by former APC caretaker committee chairmen and confirmed APC members to organise the rerun elections. He announced the names of the APC leaders on the list of Adhoc staff.
He noted that he had written a formal letter with proofs and details to INEC National Chairman, complaining of the issue. The governor said that President Buhari should not allow Amaechi cause crisis in the state because of his personal interest.
In his remarks, National Chairman of the PDP, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff stated that the Rivers State is a PDP state where the people are satisfied with the performance of the Governor.
Deputy National Chairman of the PDP, Uche Secondus described Amaechi as a confirmed thief who stole Rivers monies which he used to finance APC National campaigns.
