The sabre-rattling from both sides is boring.

Get busy and depopulate faster. If Nigeria needs another civil war, to get it right; I'm definitely in support of it.

It's high time we got it right. cool
Car TalkRe: New Lagos Traffic-Law Catches First-Victim - Bullion Van Driver by bittyend(m): 2:51am On Aug 30, 2012
This is madness! I still don't understand why a first time offender, who committed a driving offence could be jailed for a year - without an option of fine. This is pure jungle justice.

A fine should be appropriate for this type of offence, anything more than that, is just pure madness. You can't treat people like animals, just because you want to sanitize the system.

Everything works backwards in Nigeria smh.
RomanceRe: How Many Boyfriends Can A Nigerian Girl Have? - Video by bittyend(m): 5:43pm On Aug 29, 2012
I didn't know most people in Nigeria are gap-toothed. shocked I'm kind of gap-toothed as well, but mine is very small, these girls need to hit the dentist. It's not shocking, Nigerian girls in the UK are like that as well; I guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree lol.

It's great to see that naija girls like this, at least I won't have a problem beating as many chics as possible, when I hit naija. cool

Girls can't be trusted, anyway; just keep any girl that's a rider, and stay oblivious to whatever she does. As long as she isn't carrying any STDs. undecided

cheddarking: Allow Shymmex\bittyend abeg...
The moist nicca thinks we no go cana...

Writing styles similar
Back story similar
Both have claimed the igbo as their fave tribe.
Both pretend to be London Roadmans
Both follow each other
Both lurk the same sections of NL
Both have a propensity to chat shyte.
Both accounts created within 2 weeks of each other.

Oya call me a 'stan'
Maybe both are friends and shymmex talks about sports I don't even talk. I'll get my boy Iyke, to join this forum next week, and I bet you would put him in the equation too. Shymmex uses a different writing style in his alternate accounts.

What's London roadmans? If you're from London, you'll speak London. Just mere reading posts would tell me if they're from London or faking it, it won't even take me 5secs. Yeah, I've done the road thing, that's just a norm.

About chat shyte? Phuck out here. I speak the truth and I just don't give a phuck.

What other tribe should I talk about, if I don't talk about Igbos? I didn't even know Northerners were Nigerians till I turned 15 and I can count the number of Northerners I've met in my life on my two hands. You might call that a lie too, but I know a Naija girl in 20s who didn't even know that there are fulanis in Nigeria till last year.

You guys take the internet seriously, it isn't that serious. That's why I don't do 'facebooking' and 'twittering', I do real life shyte in real time. You can keep stalking me and calling me, shymmex. While I keep posting my shyte to familiarise myself with the Nigerian terrain.

I still don't know why I've to keep denying this, I'm not even getting paid for it. Ok, I'm shymmex, can you get off my nuts now?
PoliticsRe: Yoruba Vs Igbo Cat Fights: Are You Tired Of Them? by bittyend(m): 4:10am On Aug 29, 2012
cheddarking: I have to agree with Shymmex on this one.

I'm of mixed Igbo/Yoruba parentage and growing up each parent tried to get me to see myself as primarily from their tribe.
My parents love each other very much, but that Igbo vs Yoruba ting still pops up from time to time-often in playful jest.

Most Igbos and Yoruba are united by a common love of money/life and a common mistrust of Malos/Oyibos.

Thats just how life is.
Don't you guys get tired of calling me, shymmex? We're not even the same people. If we were, I won't be on the defensive, I would just laugh it laugh. I smoke weed, that nyggah don't even smoke like that. I'm aggressive, that nyggah isn't really that aggressive. We do almost everything differently, but I've to be shymmex because we've similar ad-libs and background, no?

That nyggah don't even phuck with this forum anymore, and I'm just in and out. I don't even know how to defend the accusations anymore. Maybe, I should just claim the shymmex ID to make you guys happy. undecided
Some of you people are confusing healthy tribalism or competition with gross bigotry supported by narrow minded fanaticism. Eziachi did not imply that you people are bigots.

The thread's topic is much more than tribalism. You people need to think with your brains for a change.
Maybe you're the one who needs to do the bolded part because the last time I checked - the fanatics who don't really get involved in the 'tribal' banter on NL, are the ones killing and maiming other people in real life.

Yoruba vs Igbo isn't a hate thing, if it was, then the South would've been like the North.

It's just competition, accusations, and counter accusations - and the so called 'tribalists' on NL are not even up to 50 posters. Most use multiple IDs to spew the same crap.

Nchara has 10 IDs.
Andrew_Uweh has 7 IDs.
Nri_Priest has 5 IDs.
Onlytruth has 7 IDs.

Pa Eziachi said it all, there's really nothing to add to what he said. If you think 'tribalism' only occurs in Nigeria - you may need to visit a British forum, or yahoo news to find out how Scots and English geezers go at each other. Yoruba vs Igbo is child's play compared to those people. grin

To be honest, Nigeria is a very 'tribalised' society, and the foundation of the country was built on 'tribalism' - and it isn't going anywhere soon. You lot might keep hiding it, but the average Nigerian is a 'tribalist'. I remember growing in London in the 90s, and whenever I was at my boy's (Igbo guy) yard - his parents would switch from English to Igbo. And my parents used to do the same, and say; "your friend is omo Igbo." Being a kid back then, I didn't really know what they were on about - and the funniest thing back then was that, my dad's closest friend was an Igbo man. And boy's dad hangs out with only Yoruba people, and he speaks Yoruba as well.

Nairaland kind of showed me what the mindset of the average Nigerian is, and that people put their tribal affiliation before the country itself. Basically, I don't think it's a bad thing, it's just something that makes us all human. Just as black people will always align with black people wherever they find themselves, before they align with other races of people, and vice versa. A visit to university campuses in the UK would show you that black britons (and other blacks) are always close knitted - they attend the same parties, do everything together; and they stay away from other races. That's just human nature.

The Yoruba vs Igbo problem isn't much of a hate problem, but more of competition, accusations, and counter accusations. I think both tribes ethnic groups are just trying to outdo each other, for the limited window of opportunities in Nigeria. They're both fighting for the crumbs because the hausa/fulani holds the ACE. grin I've had some bad experiences (money wise) with fresh Igbo people in the UK, but Igbos will always be my favourite tribe in Nigeria (if we classify Edo people as semi-Yoruba lol).

I don't have problem with Igbos, as long as they don't claim my ancestral land - cyber banter is fun sometimes. grin I have got loads of Igbo doozies around me, it's nothing - black power!!!!

buchi4action: We come across different types of girls both good and bad, but what do guys think of sometimes? as for me i have learn that clubbing girls can't stick to a particular guy because the think guys are all flirt, so if a guy can afford a minimum of N4, 000.00 he can satisfy his desire with any girl coming around his way on that particular night.
So many women in the atmosphere, so much flexing but in all i conclude that we have fourdifferent types of girls in the world, especially in Nigeria, please ladies do not quote me wrong because you may fall among any of these category listed down
1. The Recharge Card Type
2. The Clubbing type
3. The Money, Money type
4. The LAZY type
These are the types i can list for now till next time, have a nice time.

Pataki: How many Nigerian water engineers/scientists do you know off-hand? Why are you advocating for nuclear power? Do you know the environmental consequences of nuclear power? What makes you think nuclear power will work in a climate like Nigeria?
I'm not really conversant with Nigerian engineers/scientists in Nigeria, but I know loads in diaspora - who would willingly take up the task to go back to Nigeria, if the environment is conducive. Nigeria is trying to get into the big league, with the BRICS countries - and we've to go nuclear, if we want to achieve that. Our population is too huge for other forms of power generation. And one thing all the BRICS countries have in common is also nuclear power generation - we can't compete with the 'big boys' without it.

As for the environmental consequences, that was why I suggested that the nuclear power plants should be built on the wasteland, somewhere in the North. Climate shouldn't be a problem, if Libya did it in the past - and Algeria is also contemplating building a couple from 2020.

Address my post intellectually and stop trying to exchange insults with me. Trust me, you do not want go that route with me. I will crush you and your hopeless generation without mercy. This is why I am Pataki. cool
Smh.. Ask about me, I'm not just in the mood tonight - and I definitely don't want to turn this thread upside down.

Pataki: Don't dish out insult to anonymous people if you cannot handle it.

If your father had trained you properly, you would have addressed my post and not start throwing insults at me.

You mannerless goat I retort!
And what did I 'dish out', to make you talk about my father? The last time I checked, I never said anything about your father.

Iran was a shyte in the 70s with no technology, but after being pushed to wall by sanctions - it's now one of the most technologically advanced countries in the world.

The built their own nuclear reactors, submarines, missile systems, drones, cars, and both military and commercial aircrafts.

I am sure he will tell you I am right.
If you had a father, you won't be too quick to talk bad about the next person's dad.

He is apparently a resident of Yaba left.
You just keep exposing your stupidity. or do you want me to list Nigerian physicists working in nuclear power stations around the world?

Nigeria is capable, we just need the right people at the top.

2mch: Nu shekini? Are you ok? We cant manage electricity, you want us to wipe ourselves off the face of the earth trying nuclear. Abeg crawl before you walk. undecided
We won't enrich beyond 20%, and the plants would be located somewhere on the wasteland up north.

If Nigeria wants to join the big league and become industrialised, we definitely need to go nuclear.

Our population is too huge for dams and gas - nuclear energy is the way forward.
PoliticsRe: Barth Nnaji Resigns (Or Sacked) From Power Ministry? by bittyend(m): 10:56pm On Aug 28, 2012
The solution to Nigeria's power problem would always be nuclear power generation.

Why can't we just go nuclear, and build reactors somewhere up North?

There are plenty of wastelands up North, and building nuclear plants over there shouldn't be a problem.

And Zamfara has loads of uranium.

Vision 2020 = at least 20,000mw, and we can only achieve that if we go nuclear.

But this is the first time, I've seen/heard a Nigerian, on the ivory tower resign - and you've to give him credit for that.
