I just wanted to let Rachel Maddow know she is a very big fool to make mockery of Nigeria and Nigerians. That wasnt funny and too bad  how daft your sense of humor is . you are probably a " Mad widow" from your name Maddow and maybe  some 'Kolo '  men need to assauge your "roasting"  . You should realise they all caused this problems for us and if you laugh at the misfortune of Nigerians because of a few people who portend to be representing us , then you dont know what the problem is. why dont you focus on your own problems and leave us alone
You call us corrupt but when we come to buy properties, airlines and lodge bank in your accounts, you never ask where the money is coming from but the same people will come and say Nigeria is the most corrupt nation on earth what double standards . Did you not just allow Babaginda into America despite all the allegations you have against him?
I love my Country and things might not be okay but stop removing specks from other people eye when you have log in your own
Please can you try and settle your debt instead of meddling in other people,s affair.
I dont find this funny at all
America is the world greatest debtor nation despite its age and bragadaccio. enjoy this

I am surprised he needs a lawyer to defend him in court . After disowning his father and thinking he could muttalab his life away, I owuld have thought he would tell the world he didnt need a lawyer that Allah will defend him. Stupid people who cannot fight forthemselves yet want to fight for allah. Anuonfia
Politics / Re: Breaking News: Mutallab Family Issues Statement by bivins1(m): 12:53am On Dec 29, 2009
Its a pity that this kind of thing has happened but again I am kind of amazed that that the the abdulmutallab did not for once use Allah  but  kept using almighty God. When you tear a drunk man better slap, im eye go clear and drink go disappear.
The wannabe terrorist appears to me  like a child who has never taken a decision in his life. Like i will always tell most Parents , its not enough to pamper a child and give him everything he wants, you must watch , monitor ,supervise and mentor him to be able to know his left from his right. I remember a friend of mine who came to the west and affter like a couple of weeks , he told me he was going back  home because he cannot continue to "suffer". I then asked him if he bought his ticket to come in the first place, his answer was" my father bought it for me".
My point is i find it very difficult to comprehend how a father will provide a son with everything and at a point decides he wants to cut off his relayionship with his father.
A lot of our kids come here to the west and want to adopt western  lifestyle cultures . if you get spanked once in a while by your parents, they call the cops for you . so when they grow up thinking nobody can touch them , they end up very spoilt. People must realise that people are very different and what works for certain people may not necessarily work for others
If that boy had grown up at home and made to chop some koboko and conks on his skull , I am sure this would have been avoided.
The bible even says when you spank the child with one hand , you pat him with the other other .
Ghana is seen to have advanced democratically today because of the koboko and conk treatment rawlings handed out to their leaders . it may be viewed as babaric in the west but it works for us.
As a child i was flogged and it made me a better person not a spoiled brat
Matters arising, the young man has put Nigerians in a very difficult situation right now but moreso for northerners. They might never be able to assume the office of the president any longer because no western Government will want to deal with anybody related to a terrorist. so they will do anything possible to make sure no northerner ever assumes that office again
Please can we start providing ourselves national security or socail security card or numbers.
Please can we tell that market woman DORA AKINLUYI to keep her mouth shut when she doecnt know what to say. she is a disgrace been a spokesman for the Government. after she lobbied to become health minister and failed, she took the position of communication minister , I expected the first thig she will do is to probe what PFIZER did in Kano by using our kids as guinea pigs for their vaccine  and pfizer went further to say its because we dont have any such laws to protect the citizenry when it comes to drug trials. That is her area of specailization and you would have expected she will champion the fight to make sure that PFIZER as a entity get the punishment they deserve but nothing happened. If i may ask, was the intention of pfizer? was it not to kill innocent people?
Sorry for the distraction here but i really get angry when you expect people to make intelligent statement but comes out to say he sneaked into the country and sneaked out. is he a spirit or a ghost? absloute joker of a woman.
I am waiting to see how this will be resolved but the government should not waste our money trying to investigate rubbish because nothing has ever come out of any investigation in this country. even the attorney general was killed nothing happened not to talk of  a novice wannabee terrorist. Have ever seen any terrrorist caught like that? and to make matters worse, starts confessing there more attacks to come? ajebota can never become ajekpako overnight  . the boy is a complete disgrace

12.28.2009
Our family, like the rest of the world, were woken up in the early hours of Saturday, 26th December, 2009 to the news of an attempt to blow up a plane by a young Nigerian man, who was later identified as Umar Farouk AbdulMutallab. Umar Farouk AbdulMutallab is the son of Alhaji (Dr.) Umaru AbdulMutallab, the head of this Family.

Prior to this incident, his father, having become concerned about his disappearance and stoppage of communication while schooling abroad, reported the matter to the Nigerian security agencies about two months ago, and to some foreign security agencies about a month and a half ago, then sought their assistance to find and return him home.

We provided them with all the information required of us to enable them do this. We were hopeful that they would find and return him home. It was while we were waiting for the outcome of their investigation that we arose to the shocking news of that day.

The disappearance and cessation of communication which got his mother and father concerned to report to the security agencies are completely out of character and a very recent development, as before then, from very early childhood, Farouk, to the best of parental monitoring, had never shown any attitude, conduct or association that would give concern. As soon as concern arose, very recently, his parents, reported it and sought help.

The family will continue to fully cooperate with local and international security agencies towards the investigation of this matter, while we await results of the full investigation.

We, along with the whole world, are thankful to Al-Mighty God that there were no lives lost in the incident. May God continue to protect us all, amen.

Finally, as the matter is being investigated by the various agencies, and has already been mentioned in a US court, the family requests that the press should regard this as the only statement it will make for now.

Thank you.
Signed

The Mutallab Family
Politics / Re: Nigerian Man Attempts To Detonate Explosive On Delta Flight In US by bivins1(m): 6:36pm On Dec 26, 2009
One very sensible post but its a big problem for us all now. i was ready to vouch that the guy wasnt Nigerian but all that is garbage now as it has been proven without doubt. I expect we should learn from things like this but we never learn. How many Nigerians have more than one international passport? how many other illegal immigrants in Nigeria are carrying our passports? from lebanese to chadians?
Why cant we implement a national security card system so that we can monitor everybody? so his father was a former first bank manager and of all people that was the the one yar adua chose to advise him. where did his son get so much money to be able to live in such an expensive house in london? The president chooses a thief to lead advise him right? I am ashamed of all our leaders. when i decide to travel now, idiots at the airport we be shouting, "i got one here " when i show my green passport.
Guys its time to deal with all our leaders the rawlings way  from babginda to obasanjo, from ibori to odili. we are really a nation of thieves . we cant be suffering when the people who caused all the confusion are walking free

Jarus:

I'm a Muslim and without any regrets, irrespective of the undoings of some bad eggs among us. As for those blabbing that every Muslim is a potential terrorist, I have grown beyond engaging those people and would rather ignore them.

Farouk's case is most likely to be a case of overzealousness or youthful exuberance or exaggerated piety. It is most condemnable and embarrassing.

As for his father, Alhaji Muttalab, I only pity the man. The man is arguably the north's most experienced banker and a former MD of UBA and until last week Chairman of First bank.

And the claim that he was the one that recommended Sanusi appears true. I remember reading the full story in, I think, TELL or Newswatch soem months ago. Yar'adua, worried by the situation in the banking sector, I read, contacted Muttalab as the north's leading and most experienced banker and asked him, who do you think can do the job effectively, and he advised yar'adua that he knew one boy, very brilliant and has a non-nonsense mien, hsi name is Lamido Sanusi. That was how Yar'adua invited SLS and spoke with him and got the job unsolicited.

Still on Farouk, the father had already raised alarm over some extreme religios views of the boy months ago, as reported in this Thisday report:
On Sanusi, I have read much of Sanusi's writings on Islamic issues(many of which I still have on my system as I type now) and know his views and I'm pretty sure he will never approve suicide bombing of any form.

And on a personal note now, I always appreciate silverspoons trying to uphold their religious beliefs in the midst of distracting wealth. It's rare and most children from stupendously rich homes tend not to care about religion, Islam especially. However one trend I have observed these days, like the case of farouk, is that some of them go to the extreme. I remember reading how the son of a former governor of Kwara state also joined a boko-haramesque sect some years ago and was caught, alongside others, training in Adamawa/cameroun border. It's a pity.
Xionez:

That does it .This guy has spoilt the thing for us.Now the officials will be stickin their hands up our bottoms just to make sure we arent walkin bombs. Why do nigerians spoil things for other.Isnt Yahoo Yahoo enuf!!!

Well i am a suprised here for people to think Dora is a messiah. I never thought of her like that. she is as greedy as most of us Nigerians. all we hear about is Dora Akinluyi in NAFDAC. is she the only person in NAFDAC? who is the second in command? does that tell you anything about her? if she was not greedy and really did a fantastic job in NAFDAC, why did she have to lobby for a ministerial post in this deluded Government we have? Did Gani not just refuse a national honour? did Wole soyinka not resign froom FRSC?If she is so smart, intelligent and forthright as most of her pundist proclaim, how come she so dull not to know that she will not do much with the present "dead" Government? your answer pariotism right? . Patriotism my foot . she has been shot a couple of time and in one occasion the police actually claimed that they shot her just to be able to justify releasing who the chief culprit is. She is there for one thing , THE MONEY. please stop praising her . just give some time and you will hear of all her dirty deals . I am not trying to run her down here but she is not what you think she is. she lobbied for health minister and she is now been compensated with information minister and you guys know what will happen. Misinformation . Its not by force to serve especailly when the conditions are not conducive . enuff said

Jodell in as much as i would want to agree with you that market recovery is imminent, I thinks its a faulty assumption to say that most of the BANKS Year Ends have gone past, which suggests that the Bank’s will be back in the capital market and start buying of shares and also be granting new loan facilities and Margin Account and with the new Policy.
It might interest you to know that when CBN proposed a uniform year end for the banks , most of them opposed it . The CBN had to deny this and it was one of the various methods they have tried to stabilise our market .
The situation is that most of the banks on their own have decided to shift their Year end to december 31st . I want you to take note of that because one wrong assumption can make it go all wrong for your postulations
I also agree that now is the time to buy that is if you have money

DEAR GTSWK,
WITH REGARDS TO YOUR QUESTION ON HOW TO TRADE ON STOCKS AND YOUR BROKER MINIMUM N200,000 START UP CAPITAL TO BUY SHARES WITH AND THE RECOMMEDED SHARES OF JAPUAL,UBA AND DUNLOP. THE ARE GOD SHARES TO BUY BUT THE QUESTION MOST OF THESE BROKERS FAIL TO TELL NEW COMERS TO INVESTING IN THE STOCK MARKET ARE THE RISK AND GAIN ASSOCIATED WITH INVESTING LIKE ANY OTHER BUSINESS ENDERVOUR.
JUST LIKE ANY BUSINESS, STOCK OR ANY OTHER INVESTMENT IS A STRATEGY PLAN OR MAY I SAY WANT ARE YOUR INVESTMENT GOAL FOR INVESTING IN THE STOCK MARKET? WHEN YOU HAVE A CLEAR PALNNED INVESTMENT GOAL THAT YOU WANT, YOU CAN NOW PLAN NO HOW INVESTING IN STOCKS WILL BE ABLE TO ACHVIEVE THOSE SET OUT GOALS.
BUT IF YOU don't HAVE ANY INVESTMENT GOAL PLAN I THINK MAKING MONEY THROUGH STOCK INVESTMENT WILL BE A VERY DIFFICULT BUSINESS FOR YOU BECAUSE YOUR BROKER MAKES MONEY BY CHARGING YOU BROKERED FEE ANYTIME YOU BUY AND SELL.

If you will be interested on how to trade and well set out investment plan and goal on the stock market both on SHORT-TERM, MEDIUM-TERM AND LONG-TERM basic you can e-mail for a one on one online comprehensive training on both FUNDAMENTAL AND TECHNICAL ANALYSIS of the market for maximum profits.

Obua I thought you were going to educate us as a lot of investors are ignorant but I am sure kindegaten Kid will do better than you.if you have no dealings with Cashcraft, you cannot be contributing because you dont know how it feels when stockbroking house starts messing up with your hard earned money. if companies cannot cope with the demand of buying stock , whose fault is that? is it the investor,s fault? why do you collect money and not execute orders. Why are they so difficult when it comes to transfering your account from one stockbroking house to another? when the money is being pushed into the account to buy shares why dont you advice the investor that its difficult and he should go to another stock broking firm? so I have to travel from where I am to Nigeria to know what is happening . Well i could have ignored your post but i wanted you to see the "no sense" in it and I hope it sinks . I think its very rude of you to describe investors as ignorant and yet you didnt have a single iota of enlightenment in your post . Think before you write. enough said

There is a saying that where there is a will, there is a way. Apart from Bluband,s suggestion that we should personally forward our petitions to SEC, How easy is it to transfer shares from one stockbroking house to another and whats the lawif the stockbroking house is refusing to transfer the shares. Even if it means paying a fee to transfer shares , i think that will be another easy solution to this winchcraft wahala? has anybody tried transfering shares from Cashcraft? These guys cannot be above the laws or are they greasing some palms in SEC? . Your contributions are welcome and please if you know the law governing the transfer of shares especially when one of the stockbroking house is refusing, let us know

Ladies and gentlemen
I dont post a lot but i learn a lot from this forum and in my last forum i explained why i dont do that because i am still learning the ropes. However i must say certain things in this forum doesnt make me happy. We are all here to make Money and this forum should not denigrate to calling people name. I know we are btorugh up from a country with a very rich culture and respect. However too we must call a spade a spade sometimes . we come from a country where we think the old people can never do wrong. dont misunderstand . I respect the elders a lot but we must reciprocate the respect . The way we are brought, if a child misbehaves in present of an elder we take it upon ourselves to "descend " on that child to the extent that elder will be begging for the child . Its only a shame that some elders think they know everything which is wrong. What was done to Elder napolean that has not been done to Pumping, wanajo, aktopgun, windywendysam, 4stone,. if blueband annoyed Napoleon and blueband offered an apology and Elder Napoleon would not accpt it what kind of an elder is that? if blueband was oga napoleon son, is that how he will react?
If you cant accept critism and you cannot forgive, you will not be forgiven
I hate it when People always attack pumping in this foum because that guy is a wonderful guy . Only half baked people will describe others as thin pocketed . It shows how bereft of ideas a person is when you start describing people that way.(money miss road) if you got millions nobody has come here to beg you for your money and for all i care your money is your money and dont mean anything to me
If you are an elder and you cant respect people, nobody will respect you . I will appreciate it better if you tell me why i should buy a stock rather than using underground means to corner allocations to yourself.
i no dey quick vex but i don now . see how enlightened people like aktopgun, easimoni ,grabdaloot, windy , blueband and so many other people to numerous to mention contribute to help everybody here and later you come back to call them names
I am beginning to respect that father of 2 guy. you remember how he left? he said he was very sure they were people here with multiple identity and i think he was right. he didnt stop posting. he only minimised the number of posts . I think that is a more sensible approach. father of 2 no dey vex no matter what and he has the comical way of putting thins across
sorry guys i dont mean to push this further and even though we have agreed to ignore such postings, some people need to be told the truth and maybe that will bring them to their sensing
Pumping I know say you know dey vex and you know a lot of people appreciate what you do for them. you no see as people begin drink panadol for the headache when winchcraft wan cause you. you will never walk alone and keep doing the good job

Distinguished ladies and Gentlemen,
I dont write much but i read everything on this forum. It doesnt make me a silent reader. I dont contribute enough because i am still trying to grapple enough information about the stock market . I have been reading a lot of books and educating myself and gradually getting some knowledge so that explains why i dont post much. its better to keep quiet than to vomit garbage
However recent happenings in this forum has got me thinking. I think if we look at the people formenting trouble, its those people who just started posting. I remember one who introduced herself by picking up a fight with mamaore .
Like it has been widely acknowledged we come from a people with culture and our "gragra or gbagbati" is not measured by how much down our jeans is dangling from our waist. we should consider ourselves privileged to have people like AKTOPGUN who is a distinguished medical practitioner and still has time to explain things to us, Engineer pumping who will never eat alone (and never walk alone too) Father wanajo despite all his wisdom has so much humility ,windy wendy the mother of this forum, grabdaloot the man who introduced us to RSI ,Easimoni who is as easy going and forever willing to share, father of 2 who was an icon here but all of a sudden has decided to become a sunday sunday pastor and the fieldmarshall of this forum Elder Napoleaon who showed us investing from another dimension. I have not left iomah our own version of i go die of stock market . However if you notice one thing in all these people i have mentioned or failed to mention , a lot of things are common, mutual respect, intelligence, sacrifice, patience and peseverance . this is what we should all try and imbibe instead of trying to cause unnecesary discord .
the sole aim of everybody here is to make money and also we are making connections. It may be a faceless forum but i speak with a lot of people here on the forum so please let stop all his "casala" and move on. if you fall into the trap of wanting to reply all post, nobody will know who the fool is . silence is golden sometimes
Blueband, i think Oga pumping himself don say make you no go. if you go you go see wetin i go do you. do you know how well you are liked in this forum? do you know you have brothers and sisters you dont even know in this forum? you cant just walk out like that and make sure you write back after reading this sermon on the mount.
Please in the name of God , let bury the hatchet and move on . Afterall where is the agreement if we dont have disagreements. p lease brothers and sister lets forget and like i said , our primary purpose here is to make a better life and get to know each other
Let cooluuuuuu temper i beg you all. I am down on bended knees like boys2 men. I beg una make we no vex again
