Skydivine: Hmm. I didn’t know it’s wrong to swear by the name of God. I thought it was only wrong to swear in vain. Meaning don’t swear if your are not telling the truth. In the Old Testament, we were told ...... Lev.19.12 - And you shall not swear by My name falsely, nor shall you profane the name of your God: I am the LORD. But in the New Testament, Jesus Christ made it known to us that it's not acceptable...... Matt.5.34 - But I say to you, do not swear at all ;neither by heaven, for it is God's throne; Matt.5.35 - nor by the earth, for it is His footstool; nor by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King. Matt.5.36 - Nor shall you swear by your head, because you cannot make one hair white or black. Matt.5.37 - But let your "Yes' be "Yes,' and your "No,' "No.' .For whatever is more than these is from the evil one. Exod.20.7 - "You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain. |

VanuatuWycombe: I swear to God. I am not even exaggerating.
The engineer is a Nigerian that has been building for years.
It may not mean he doesn’t know what he is doing as an engineer. It may mean he was building to the standard his client wanted.
What even led to him saying that was when the buyer was trying to price down the properties because he didn’t see them. I guess that was why his engineer said what he said.
Right from building the first block, we have maintained the quality.
Three senior masonry workers left the job because we insisted they dismantled anything laid that didn’t conform to our standards.
A lot went into the work. Even the carpenters we used said they had never been detailed like that kind of work in their entire career. It is very wrong to swear by the name of God. You can say your points and leave it at that. It's good to build to details and with good quality. Kudos on your builds and the work men who lend their skills in bringing such to completion. |

cutecommend: Every salvation experience must come with a valid encounter, situation, happening, place e.t.c, but a person may know the encounter, happening, place and situation, and may not know the exact date. For example, if uneducated people were preached to in a village and they got saved, they may not keep record of the date but may know what happened and the place the salvation encounter happened. So do not judge people who told you of their salvation encounter without remembering the exact date.
It is a good thing to know the date you got born again.
Today is another day to have a date for your salvation. So please humbly and genuinely say this: Lord Jesus, today is a good day, please forgive all my sins, come into my heart, break the yokes of sin, be my Lord and personal Saviour in Jesus name. Amen.
Attend a good church.
Happy Sunday to you. Of what importance is one remembering the date of when he became born again? Will it add any spiritual value to their christian life and living? When you hear someone's salvation testimony does that mean that person is living right or backslided? Is it a proof that such person will be raptured when Christ Jesus comes? Is there any scriptural reference to that? |

That’s why I am an advocate of quality things. It’s good we don’t do it at all, if we can’t afford it.
We have been brainwashèd in Nigeria to be a landlord by force. So people start building nonsensè, all the name of: WE HAVE MOVED TO OUR SITE.
The properties I built for sale here are great testimonies of what I always talk about qualities here. When a buyer sent his engineer to come and check them ahead, the engineer said: OGA, THIS HOUSES ARE BUILT BETTER THAN THE ONES WE BUILD FOR YOU O. The buyer said: HAA. IT MEANS YIU HAVE BEEN BUILDING RÛBBISH FOR ME SINCE.

WanderTryangle: Your attempt to trivialize the matter with insinuations about “alternate monikers” and sarcasm regarding the judicial process only serves to reveal your lack of understanding—or deliberate misrepresentation—of how legal proceedings function. Unlike your dismissive tone, Sen. Natasha’s approach is grounded in procedure and evidence, not political theater.
It is both misleading and irresponsible to imply that a lawyer’s duty begins and ends with filing a case. Serving a summon is part of due process—something that seems foreign to you, as you’ve conveniently stated you’ve “never entered court before.” That may explain your reckless confidence in publicly commenting on matters you clearly do not grasp.
As for the assertion that only Sen. Natasha “knows where it was dumped,” your deflection is noted. The truth does not need to hide behind sarcasm. Evidence speaks for itself, and the timeline of this case will not bend to political strategy or delay tactics. The law will take its course—whether that’s before or beyond 2027—and when it does, no feigned ignorance will serve as a shield. You seem to write intelligently but it's also obvious that you did not read to understand my comments but only rushed to respond for the defense of Sen. Natasha. Nevertheless, we shall all see the outcome of this drama irrespective of how long it will take. The road to 2027 is going to be full of all kinds of treats. |

Judicial proceedings often involve delays that have nothing to do with leniency or neglect.
Making sweeping accusations from the sidelines, especially without insight into the legal complexities or procedural stages, only highlights a lack of understanding.
If there’s genuine concern for justice, it should begin with respecting the process—not distorting it to suit a narrative. All these alternate monikers that were just opened yesterday. Judicial process and judicial delays like your lawyer who filed a case did not know that he will serve a summon to the one he is accusing for his client..... Well, let Sen. BafanaBafana: From my experience, if you stay alone, eating out is cheaper. If you doubt it, calculate the actual cost of preparing a meal, check how many times you will eat that meal and then compare how much it will cost you to buy that number of plates of the same quality of meal outside.
Further more, consider the time and labor cost. You go to the market to buy food stuff Prepare to cook Do the cooking. Be cleaning while cooking. Go out to a nearby shop to buy something you forgot to buy in the market. Finish cooking. Wash the dishes after eating.
All these after buying food stuff with your money o Meanwhile if you go to a restaurant, all you do is eat and leave.
So gents, eating out is way cheaper. Lazy Lazy Laziness is what you are. People like me who is a heavy eater, its certainly cheaper I cook at home and if I'm too tired I get someone to assist and I give a token for such task. I just had breakfast, porridge beans/yam/fried plantain/2 beef and bottle water for #2800. This is moderate eating. In this particular place I'll have to spend about #3500 if I want to eat to my fill. There's also a low budget place in the instance I find myself around that area and a plate of eba with white soup is #1800 with pure water. All this are just moderate eating, like make food enter belle. So I'll prefer cooking at home for it's always cheaper. |

Tinubu's Anambra Visit: APGA Members, Soludo Support Groups Stripped of Uniforms, Warned
Ahead of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's visit to Anambra State today, the Presidency has directed members of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and Governor Soludo Support Groups not to wear their uniforms during the President's reception.
Sources close to the matter revealed that this decision was made to avoid giving the event a partisan tone.
According to insiders, the President's visit is primarily in response to an invitation from Chief Emeka Anyaoku, former Secretary of the Commonwealth, who is hosting an event at Nnamdi Azikiwe University in Awka.
The President's political party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), had expressed concerns that the visit could be perceived as a vote of no confidence in their governorship candidate, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu, especially given the timing in an electioneering period.
A source familiar with the planning of the visit confirmed that the ban on uniforms was one of the conditions set before the President agreed to attend.
"This APGA uniform issue is one of the conditions given before BAT agrees to come," the source said.
Following this directive, Dr. Alex Obiogbolu, Special Adviser to Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo, issued a statement informing attendees of the President's reception to dress in Mufti.
"This is to inform you that everybody coming to Dr. Alex Ekwueme Square, Awka for the reception of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu tomorrow( today) should be in Mufti," Dr. Obiogbolu said, adding, "Please, nobody should put on APGA clothes or Support Groups uniforms."
The move aims to emphasize the non-partisan nature of the President's visit, focusing on the commissioning of projects executed by Governor Soludo's administration, without more. There is no sense in this nonsense. Will same be said to be done if the incumbent State Governor was from the APC !!!!! The APGA flag should be hoisted in all the major roads round abouts and every high rise building to showcase the party whose leadership is in government in the State |

Once again, the suspended Senator representing Kogi Central Senatorial District at the Senate was not in Court today when the suit she filed against Senator Godswill Akpabio and Mr. Mfon Patrick came up for hearing.
The Senator was represented at the hearing by Barr. O.U. Ugbogbo. In the suit filed since February and marked CV/754/2025, Senator Akpoti claimed she was defamed by Mr. Mfon Patrick, a Senior Legislative Aide to the President of the Senate.
Curiously, Senator Godswill Akpabio was also sued in his personal capacity. But since after filing the suit, only the office of the President of the Senate has been served with the originating process and no attempt has been made to serve others.
When the case came up today, Senator Akpoti's lawyer could not explain to the Court why processes have not been served on Senator Godswill Akpabio and Mr. Mfon Patrick since February when the case was filed.
Apparently infuriated by Senator Akpoti's Lawyer's obvious ignorance of the High Court Civil Procedure Rules, the presiding Judge thundered, "don't come and stare at the ceiling. You have to be serious about this case and resort to the Rules".
Counsel for Mr. Mfon Patrick, Fidel Albert, Esq informed the Court that he was appearing under protest as his client had equally not been served with the Court processes and only became aware of the case on social media.
Counsel to Senator Natasha Akpoti pleaded with the Court for more time to put their house in order, an application which was not opposed. Consequently, the case has been further adjourned to June 9 to enable Senator Akpoti file all necessary applications, if any.

The controversial list was shared on X (formerly Twitter) by user @HOLARMEEDEY1, who expressed outrage over what he described as an exploitative demand placed on an immigrant who had only recently relocated to the UK less than two years ago.
“You reach UK e never reach 2yrs. You are not from a rich family. And your potential wife is not from a rich family either. But e reach time for wedding your in-laws are giving you quote that want to unalive you and you cannot refuse,” he captioned the list.
The list reportedly included over ₦5 million for the event hall alone, alongside other substantial expenses. According to the post, the groom-to-be was also expected to buy the bride’s wedding gown and foot the bill for her parents’ outfits, with no financial contribution from the bride’s family. The bolded can always refuse, except he intends to play along with them. I look.at the list and I laugh. People don't like being conned. In an ideal environment, yes people don't like to be conned. But Nigerians like it and that was why Buhari was re-packaged and made President and that was even possible because the incumbent was living in self denial of certain facts and truths. I have come to understand that majority of Nigerians love sweeteners and that's why politicians give them the sweet taste in words and sour taste comes in reality. Tell me thank u sir for schooling u free You seem not to understand what he has been trying to explain to you.... The Benin monarchy system is quiet different from all others practiced in Nigeria. Just because the State Governor gives the Oba of Benin a staff of office doesn't mean the governor can dictate for the Oba. The Oba remains Oba without the staff of office for it's not the staff that makes him Oba or gives him authority and power over his kingdom. As far as history can tell one, there will be no governor in Edo State that will want to go into unnecessary contentions with the Oba of Benin. Except such one is sent by the Almighty God and there must be a reason and it will be very clear to the individual. |
