I will just use Amaechi to make you understand. He has numerous projects but I will pick two.

Primary Healthcare:
Amaechi built over a 100 health centers of high standards, and fully equipped them. He then employed doctors, gave them cars, to work in these centers. Then offered free healthcare for emergency cases, people over 80 years of age and children under the age of 6. Also with long supply of PPE for workers.

Primary Education:
Amaechi built over 300 top model primary schools. These schools offered free education, had high standard facility (sports, ict, library), gave free books and uniforms. He also trained over 10,000 teachers to work in these facilities.

You have mentioned well.
I'm sure you would not mention that the mono rail project by Amaechi was a waste of billions which stands till today and badly ill-conceived.

Let those municipal council start with building proper market structures for traders, take it on rental, provide all the basic amenities needed to keep a market in good and proper condition for health and safety.

Let them not even use government money. Let them take loans from banks and lets see who is up to the tasks..

That way u really affected the common people who can rent them for say 300k And the maintenance still b with the government... Municipal council that cannot manage streets, roads, utility facilities and primary schools within their areas, are those whom you want to manage storey building of 10 floors scattered in 10 - 15 locations?


Let's not deceive ourselves. The FG or any State government is not ripe for such.
The best at most is 3 storey building and a mix of two and three bedrooms and sell off to different cadres of the civil servants, especially those who don't own their personal buildings in the towns they reside and work rather than the village where most people relocate to after retirement.


Moreso, road is of utmost importance. They just have to be strategic about it.

Falana was right here because the case of defection of 27 law makers was not before the supreme court. This case was pending before a federal high court in Port Harcourt. Nonetheless, the SC had t give ruling on the defection of these law makers

It's already told that the RSHC lacked jurisdiction on that matter. So it's everything the RSHC was doing was just empty.


The case started from the FHC, moved to the Appeal Court, some amendments were carried out and it proceeded to the SC.

Honestly, if not because of Rivers politics that came to limelight after Odili and Amaechi. I haven't heard of the name Wike even as a lawyer. But I know Femi Falana as Fela's lawyer since 80s even as an Elementary schools student....

Moreso, Fela is a known personality so any lawyer representing him would also be known. That is how many come to be popular.

Even Saraki is a trained Medical Doctor but we have never heard one day that he even practiced.

There are many of them who did not even practiced or even contributed to the betterment of their profession to others.
But Wike who is not a practicing lawyer has done much much for his profession.

You can even check even those who were made commissioners based on their fields of study or profession in their States but there's nothing to say about them.

A medical doctor has been made Minister of Health and even at State levels as Commissioners severally but we have not seen any major changes and meaningful improvements to that sector .....

We can't have two conflicting judgements by the same supreme court.
You can't say the legislators who defected in Ondo state has automatically lost their seats and say a different thing for Rivers state lawmakers who defected. We all watched their defection on TV.
