The person charging you #1.3M needs to explain for you, what services he is rendering for that amount and if it's just the block work to completion then you should take a break and think....... Something is wrong.

6" blocks work is charged at most #140 per block. This amount covers what the mason will collect and the assistant or helper/labour. There is no extra or additional elsewhere.

If you don't have a source of water nearby for them to use for work and they have to get from a far distance then you can give an extra or the use of a second assistant is reasonable, otherwise it's a no, no.

Firstly I'll say doing daily pay for block work is not favourable. I don't even remember who works like that for block work anymore.
It's better you do counting and they will do more per day and you pay them based on the nubmer.

For the one with #1.3M, I'm guessing maybe he might be charging you for not only block work. Maybe he has incorporated doing the carpentry and iron work....

It's just an assumption.

But it's better, you ask him to tell you the breakdown for the #1.3M he is charging you. He is in the best position to enlighten you so we don't outrightly misjudge him.

I want to assume the blocks in question used is 6" blocks.

This is what my masons charged a client I did supervision for sometime in January for 6' blocks based on how the client was bringing in the blocks since he was doubting the total number of blocks to bring the foundation wall to the dpc level.
He agreed to pay #85,000 for every 600 blocks used and they used 1320 blocks to achieve the dpc level at 5 course. It's a standard 3 bedroom bungalow. That money is inclusive of what the masons will collect and their helper. That should be as a guide to you.
This is done in the city of Yenagoa - Bayelsa.
All materials used are bought by the client.

Sources further disclosed that five lawmakers, allegedly favoured by the FCT Minister, broke away after plenary for a closed-door meeting while others waited, fueling speculations of a deepening rift.

The constitution demands that where a governor is impeached, the deputy governor takes the place of the governor and they find a replacement for the office of the deputy governor.
It's impossible for the Speaker to take the position of the governor except they also want to impeach the deputy governor as well.

If someone's original date of birth certificate or any original document is missing and you have a photocopy, then you can use the photocopy to get an affidavit stating the reasons thereof.

You know legally photocopies of documents of not useful in any place because it does not a proof of authenticity. That's why there are places you'll go with statement of result or photocopy of your documents and they will not really attend to you.....if it's a job. They will tell you to bring the original results before actually giving you that employment even though you might be granted the interviewing process.

Again there is no law that mandates a decampee to write a resignation letter..

You only register with your new party and the old party strikes out your name from their register.

Those you mentioned who resigned and did not follow the process of resignation are free to go because the party did not take any legal steps towards such.

There's are window period for someone to join a political party before such can view for any political office through that party. If the individual did not meet up the criteria a s goes ahead to do such, an aggrieved member of the party can take a legal action against that person and the party.


It's just like when a party doesn't follow the rules during their primaries and another person from the opposition party takes a legal action......that was Wike did in Rivers State as governor not until the HC recently said the opposition party has not right in such but only those who are members of the party can take legal action against their party.

I think we are basically saying the same thing. EFCC will not make an arrest without some information. That’s the way I see it. The challenge has always been with prosecution, with either the suspects or accused, using all means possible to subvert it. Yaya Bello’s case readily comes to mind, with the governor accused of protecting him in the state house and using all means possible to shield him.

Our security organizations seem to be handcuffed by the same politicians who make or are supposed to preserve the laws.

I think if we follow through some of the cases of the EFCC as it concerns former governors, you'll find out that the processes used by the agents of the EFFC are against the law and they don't follow due process.

I always laugh when they bring up a 300 count charge against a governor. For it shows both the investigation officers and lawyers don't have any concrete substance so they just dabble and find what may likely stick as a charge against the purported offender.

We had little glimpse of him during the campaigns and he was largely with Wike. Having handed over power, if Fubara cooperated fully, they would have an additional eight years postponing the day of reckoning.

This political battle is very necessary for the citizens to find out what’s happening in their state.

If Fubara is impeached, EFCC will easily pick him up and I think thereafter we should hear their long kept secrets.

So if you say EFCC has all the information they needed against Gov. Wike , then why would they still need to arrest Fubara who was the accountant general and who was no where to be found because Wike had his him ?



The EFFC doesn't really have incriminating evidence on some of the governors except they get people like the accountant general and CJ to give him certain reliable infromation to their findings.

That's why we have EFFC cases against governors having 500 charges and none sticks because they do a shitty job on such.

Many of those the EFFC have actually succeeded in arresting and taken to court and a judgement given them is because the FG wants those fellows be gone.

Otherwise the EFFC is doing a shitty job in prosecuting governors.

Court dwells on evidence to adjudicate as you know. They all submitted a written letter with their signatures well appended to Fubara, ceasing to be members of the PDP. Even if they're not card carrying or registered members of the apc or any political party, the road is clear enough. That will be used against them.

It's just like you resigning from working with a company. Whichever company you joined or whatever you do with your life subsequently is none of your ex-empkoyer's business. You cannot resign and now want to come back to work. That letter you submitted is enough to nail you, should you wish to play smart.

When the supreme court said the law makers aren't members of the apc, the court was right. They're also not members of the pdp. The letters they submitted is a proof.

Why will a Speaker of a State House Assembly give a letter of resignation to the State Governor.......What is the business of the governor in it?

Let's assuming the Speaker was not a party to the decamping, it is him who receives the letter of resignation from other members of the SHA and then it either declares their seat vacate or so otherwise...

So I don't believe the Speaker gave Gov. Fubara their letter of resignation. That is not how the SHA operates and they are not employees of the governor.


Why were we told that they had gone to the court to remove their sworn affidavit from where it was offered them knowing fully well that they have a copy to the State Governor!!!!

I do not know how many classroom block buildings built in Nigeria holds an average of maximum forty pupils and I have not seen any having up to accommodating fifty pupils. Because a teacher is assigned to a specific number of pupils per classroom and it's a standard.

In construction dimensions are paramount in doing BOQ/BOM. Do you think the average classroom block measures more than 10m *6m in dimension?

(1) Did those who declared their seat vacant show that video as evidence?
(2) Did they also get a copy of the purported affidavit and add to their documents as proof ?
(3) Can they actually prove that Ahmaewule and his co travellers have decamped to the APC or any other party?
(4) We know the function of an affidavit, but why do you really think and feel that it should be useful in this particular case of decamping?
(5) Does that mean anyone can get an affidavit for whatsoever reason and purpose to declare whatever they like and want and it will stand or honoured by the Court of oaths?
