Irijosa777: Politics is a game and the game is for those who are smart. I don't like any politician because they are all selfish. BAT is one politician that I hate so much because of his role in removing Jonathan from power. But as time goes on (sentiment apart) I started liking BAT because the man knows how to play the game of politics. Wike and BAT have something in common. They are very smart and knows how to play the game. If anybody is dreaming that BAT is going to lose 2027 election that person will definitely not wake up from his or her dreams. The only southern politicians in this generation capable of putting those who think they own Nigeria in their place is BAT and, Wiki is a very good partner. Owologbo: No serving governor attending shows that the meeting is of no use. Is there any rule book that says serving governors must be in attendance? Instead of the PDP to put it's house together, they are haggling over irrelevance. Do not be surprised that the PDP might not have a constituted EXCO in the zone and in the various States if the SS and may likely not have governorship candidates come next election if care is not taken. All these court cases will blow up in their faces. The BoT and NWC are not ready to do it right. They are only fighting themselves. |

odimbannamdi: For a one-storey building, will the pillars extend into the first floor, or it will just be in the ground floor? Generally, it extends. But that may not be the case for all buildings if you understand due to load distribution and positioning/placement of columns from sub-structure to super structure round(internal/external ) the building due to its design from bottom to top. That's why it's adviced every building comes with a complete detailed plan and adhhered to as long as it is done by a qualified person and you have the right hands on ground at site for proper interpretation. |

XY23: Yeah, the lie they sold you just like the "Igbo coup". It is a disservice to your cognitive ability actually, because even when he states empirical facts (backed by researchable evidence), your brain's default settings will translate it to "LIE".
Whereas, the government that actually lie about how its policies are affecting you, go under your radar.
Cognitive dissonance is a great dishonor to people who assumed your education would make you have independence of thoughts. Sadly, this is the reality ethnic jingoism breeds, and a testament to the fact that you're still not FREE. Anyone can choose what they wrote in a book. Those who have written before and he who has just written says it's not an Igbo coup, then what is it then? Let them all say or was it written in their book? IBB, who was HOS says he did not annul June 12 but it was done by Abacha, a subordinate, that is fantastic and a great talk. After all he wasn't nicknamed maradona for nothing. He is a great elder states man if that title is reserved for people like him. We are waiting for someone to come write in their book that it was the Igbos who owned all the lands in the old eastern region which some parts is now called Nigeria Delta. Already the Igbos are claiming the entire Ikwerre/Isiokpo people are originated from them. Let someone go and write that the oil in Rivers State , Bayelsa State ann Delta State belongs to the Igbo. Uncle Ned is looking for an Igbo state to be cut out of Delta State and put in the Eastern part. I wish it is given him and his likes so that thing the Igbos tell the Eboyin man will be told him as well. PO who swore that he will not leave the great party APGA, is the one saying he is not desperate for the ticket come 2027 !!!! Okay oOoOO. I guess desperation comes with a lots of meanings. Nnamdi Kanu is jewish and the Igbo tribe is the lost tribe of Israel. I guess Simon Ekpa is also a Jewish too. We are yet to see the Jewish government lay any claim on them as one of them. |

OnuChuks: Copied From Revivallist Iyke Oriaku Facebook page There are different context in which one can say the church is the problem. Scripturally... When King David sinned, he was rebuked by the Prophet Samuel. When the Kingdoms was divided , the Prophet at that time if not for respect for one of the Kings, he would not have honoured their invitation because of the evil of the other king. Christ Jesus was found in the midst of tax collectors, the worst of men in those days, but only to bring them to God. I'm sure we all know, what Zaccheus did, before the Lord said today salvation has come to your house. Christ Jesus was not interested in what donations they would give to the Church but that they render their souls to the heavenly Father. Do you see that happening in the times we are found? When a governor refuses to pay the wages of the civil servants and that of pensioners, conduct promotion hold his subordinates accountable for their works but donates to the Church, who does he give honor to... Can anyone mock God? Simply put.... Rom.2.24 - For "the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you," as it is written. Do we not know what the above means. Many say they are christians yet the are tribalistic is all aspects of their Christianity. |

franchasng: Here is the truth.
IBB was right, Abacha annulled 1993 Presidential election because Abacha was Northern political elites/Mafias' endorsed butcher, reason Buhari adored him so much more than anything on earth because Buhari too was an unforgiven sadist.
Northern Nigeria Mafias replaced Abacha with Buhari, they love Moslem extremists, and Buhari was a perfect Moslem extremist, reason Buhari enjoyed cult-like followership in the North, not because of his good character or good leadership qualities but because he was a radical Moslem ready to kill for Islam and to defend the Northerm Moslem interest at all cost.
Northerners don't like IBB just as they don't like Atiku because both IBB and Atiku are not radical Moslems, and they leaned towards Southern lifestyle of libelism.
IBB was right, Abacha annulled the 1993 election with Northern political elites/mafias backing and IBB was handicapped to act against Abacha's decision because Northerners backed Abacha's decision and were ready to even assassinate IBB if he dared challenge the decision to annul the 1993 Presidential election that MKO Abiola won. From what you responded to and now.... So IBB saved himself from harm and let the country face the consequences. Well, one main area I like Abachsyis that he never cared of the sanctions of the USA and Europe. If only we could have such leaders and grow and drive our economy the best way it can be done then relying on handouts. |

PDP pulled out in that elections but Fubara went ahead. He conducted it and all his men won under APP.
Same thing happened in Osun state. APC went ahead with the elections back then, they won. But Adeleke removed the chairmen.
They've won their illegal removal in court and the dancing governor still doesn't want them to return to office.
Let's assume Wike's man takes over from Fubara in 2027 and then removes all the current APP local government chairmen, would you support their removal?

B. The Dismissal of APC’s Subsequent Appeal and the Finality of the APP Judgement
Following the Federal High Court’s judgement, the All Progressives Congress (APC), which had benefited from the October 2022 elections, appealed the judgement in the case filed by APP. However, the Court of Appeal dismissed the appeal on the 13th of January, 2025, for want of diligent prosecution.
The legal implication of that dismissal is that the FHC’s judgement in the APP case remains the extant and binding position of the law. Under section 287(3) of the 1999 Constitution, all authorities and persons within Nigeria, including government institutions, political parties, and law enforcement agencies are obligated to enforce and abide by the said judgement, the appeal arising therefrom having been dismissed.
The current legal position on the status of the Osun State LGCs following these decisions of both the FHC, Oshogbo, and the Court of Appeal is that the earlier judgment of the FHC, which nullified the local government elections conducted on October 15, 2022, remains binding and validly subsisting. In summary you're saying both APP and PDP filed the same case in a FHC and the only difference between both is a change of law of the electoral umpire if I'm not mistaken. Now, you're referring to the FHC judgment which came last after the PDP judgment to be legal and binding. So the Appeal of the case which came against PDP was given at what date because it seems that it also comes earlier that the one you are holding unto you. And I hope you do know that it's an abnormally for two separate FHC to receive same case from multiple persons irrespective and I don't see what the change in the umpires electoral laws have to do with the case which was filed in the Court? Please try not to give me a brief of any SAN.They are been paid to do what they do. I don't like to be confused with plenty stuffs. Thanks. |

Bobloco: Fagbemi is a mad man
What has the FG done in the case of Edo State and its "confusing me' governor? Why do you think Fagbemi is a mad man? Has the FG and even Fagbemi not numerous times called the Edo State governor and government to order but the elements in Edo State are doing as they like , just like the governor is doing same and only choosing and holding on to the Court judgment that favours him and his own interpretation!!!!! When the masses are taking sides and turns in believing whatever they like and the SANs are doing likewise and playing with smoke and fire. Is it when the FG arrests a governor who is going against the judgement that we will adhere to what is right or people are looking for a way that a State of emergency will be declared on their states, then we will hear the NA saying all manner of rubbish and nonsense when it gets to that stage. I only await the CJN to give an order of enforcement to all judgments and anyone irrespective of status and political placement found wanting should be put in a holding cell. |
