Thanks for your response Omo God bless but.My to expire visa is medical B2 and from my understanding on Dropbox you will renew base on ur expired visa.and my contact then was my doctor .so now I want to renew via drop box for medical as expired and am not pregnant which contact will i use? That was why I sent mail to bizzle6 since she renewed same way to help.
hiya just seeing this, I haven't really got a hang of how nairaland emails work. I just did the regular drop box and got an email a few days later saying I should pick up the my passport.

Many thanks. Am about to renew too, just torn between reapply for the normal b1 or b2. Baba ibeji is asayingbi should stick to b2 but biko am not ready for another missionary journey till the twins are 4 but I know he's got other plan me sef get my plan biko. It's very sweet joggling work plus tending to twins then another one, nahhh.
Still have till April before i decide, although he's saying what if anything happens if I get the b1.
I just went for B2 just in case something happens so I wouldn't start thinking of how to change it to B2. I cant imagine joggling twins, a job and then new baby, but no one knows what can happen hehehe

thanks

yes I did medical visa on my last missionary journey and yes this too is a medical visa although I'm.not preggy yet.

my advise is you should apply for drop box. by Gods grace you wouldn't be called for an interview

Kayjay23:
Thanks dear... You need to keep calling their billings department. Explain to them that you need it for visa renewal purposes. Usually it's the billing department/ financial counsellor that is more useful here.
I hope this helps.
I called Shelley the financial counsellor of HNWMC, she insisted that they don't give itemized billing for self paying patients. I explained its for visa renewal she said its the hospitals policy. really don't know what to do now.

congratulations @kayjay23, those of us that had our babies at HNWMC were told they don't give itemised receipt to self paying patients. how should we go about it?
thanks in advance

@ leakytribe I'm so sorry about what happened to you, bt the best part is she's bk. I'll advise u release her and get someone to follow her abt without her knowledge For 1 Wk. If her story is true you would know. To be candid these things happen bt @ the same time she could be lying.

I used HNMC, everything about the hospital is fine until they Give you their pediatric bill, which in my opinion was too much Other than that it's oK.

uote author=quin9 post=43612617]God bless all the contributors on this thread,@Happybaby,thanks for responding to my first post, you saved me from taking the wrong step.I now feel confident and prepared.
My Question : I found Houston Northwest even cheaper than Oakbend (which is still 2500,i called them yesterday and the lady said they've been back and forth about the price review),thier doctors too are cheap, plz can i get a review from anyone who has used HNMC,i didn't find the ones online very useful, apart from price would Oakbend be a better choice? Thanks.
Hello wonderful people of this forum. Compliments of the season to you all and congrats to all the new nairaland american babies. Welcome to the world.
Please, everyone, still on the matter. I don tire. To get a VBAC friendly doctor hard pass the US visa itself. My money don finish say I dey load card call US. VBAC means Vaginal birth after a C-Section.
Wonderful Tobermom assisted me with one in NYC but if you happen to proceed to CS for any reason, the money is sth else. I am really playing safe.
Please, can anyone assist me with a hospital and a VBAC friendly doctor. If possible, within a total of 5k USD. It seems there are no much VBAC mums here.
I will really appreciate any assistance I can get as am almost giving up hope.
Thanks.....

Please where was the circumcision done?

K
olokings:
Not entirely. ..
Had my LO circumcised for $160.00...
It depends on the doc's practice plus they apparently got different styles and procedures.
The choice us urs.

MumTee:
@Bizzle6, I learnt BenTaub hospital in Houston is vbac friendly, just that I couldn't get quotes wen I called them, they insisted that they can only discuss birth options when one comes in person. You can check their website and contact them, u might be luckier.

When i discussed it with d Doc I intend using (Dr E ) she said she does it but d hospital she is attached to doesn't encourage it. That's d challenge with d vbac thing in Houston. Heard d options are better in El paso tho.

Hope that helps.

I ve had my baby and am back to my dear country Nigeria.
I used Oakbend MC,
Hosp fee, $2300
Dr E, $1900 (for every every plus including scan and papsmr , all test accepted
NIC $335.57
Brown an associate. $67.50
Total = $4603.07
Nothing new, just to add that my baby's birth certificate was ready even before I was discharged from the hospital. It doesn't necessarily take 2days plus. You can just check in the fort bend County website to know if it's ready and pick it up b4 heading home , for those that don't have enough time or you stay far from the county office. All documentation can be done in less than 2weeks, even SSN came in abt 8days time.
I learnt so much from this thread and was able to save a whole lot unlike my last missionary journey. starting from hospital to accomodation to transportation etc. Let's keep this thread moving, as for me shaa, I don hang boot o.
