I have a friend who was in a similar situation, I advised him to go to the embassy and demand for his visa by hand, he did and it worked for him. So try it and see.

Please, who is this friend of yours? Can I communicate with the person on how he went about it? All they keep telling me is to send them an email.

Guys come to my aid o. I no longer understand what's happening.

I submitted my passport at the Embassy with my Travel insurance (Zenith Insurance), which happens to be the 2 items requested on the 29th of November. Today is the 9th of November, I haven't gotten any feedback, I sent mail, no response. I called, the same generic response that it is being worked on.

Please, any advice or heads up?

My message earlier today is very explicit. Be cautious of them German foods simple and not to eat.

In other words, make sure u know what u are eating and any side effects if any and always watch out for the nutritional contents of what you are eating.

Like u will see a milk now, u watch out the fat content to decide if is what u want. There are different levels of fat contents of their milk.

Just don't be a glutton here and eat any of their food offered at any size, cos definitely u will always have or see a lot to eat. Just be wary about it simple

OK in plain terms,
The first 3 documents, I will arrange them as

1st set:-Visa Application form, Signed declaration, Copies of data page and a copy of all the photocopies

2nd set:- same for the 1st set.

3rd set :- appointment mail, inter passport and other originals.

Please am I correct?

My thought it might not be the general opinion. But that's what I noticed..

1. When you apply you need to have 3-4months space between your application date and your stated enrollment deadline.. In 24 hours or less you'll get an appointment date.
Indicating you need to cancel and rebook. Or just hold on and pray, because nothing is impossible for God.

2. You need to check all these new requirements on the site. There have been a lot of changes

3. You need to write the school and seek for the possibility of enrolling online and extended resumption date.

4. Defer till next year or look for admission for summer.

These can be countered by others though.. However I hope it helps.

Well, I beg to differ though. I did mine with First Bank. Sourced my funds from BDC, opened Dom and sent directly. They are fine.

I actually made enquiries with both banks and I decided to go wit access.
Access operates zero balance Dom account, charges are not much, my total charges were around 52euros
UBA don't operate zero balance, u must leave 100dollars in the account. Then exorbitant charges on the transfer
So choose

If you enter Germany in October, mawista will charge you for October.(I opened my mawista on the 24th I was charged for that month cos they asked when did i come into germany and i told them)

If you have three names and just two entered it's fine.

As for putting your details. I dont know I opened my mawista when I got here so I dont know much about that

Why I love AOK... They wouldn't charge you till you have your resident permit and they will still give you the health insurance certificate

Hello, I got AL on August 17th for MSC at TUMunich and I’m suppose to enrol by October 1st. I also read German embassy is book out for the year. Pls what are the best advice concerning:
(1) Trying to get AD for September
(2) Contacting the school for extension on enrolment deadline
(3) Contacting for Deferment till Summer 2020 (last option)

Cos I no dey give up like that!!

I was in similar situation...
I had to change my enrollment deadline to December 20. and got AD in less than 24 hrs booked August 2 AD Oct 30

I booked appointment on 13th August, got an email from the consulate - the email contained a reference number and a message that they will send me another email with exact date of appointment. I have not received an email till date and I'm really bothered. Does anyone have informations about this and can help me because I'm so bothered.

extend your enrollment deadline date to about 4 months

I booked on the same date after cancelling the one I booked on July 12th. The waiting is quite frustrating tbh. What time of the day did you book? I’m beginning to wonder if the booking around midnight is a a factor to getting an AD early.

you need to put a gap of about 4 months for your resumption deadline and you will get a date in 24hrs or less
