jneutron4000: Make them no run from West or SS o, make them just det run around for their SE region, or better still they run go North.
You people are easily deceived. I doubt if Nigeria is winning the war. Have you ever seen Nigeria run this kind of propaganda before? If Nigeria was winning, you and I know that the propaganda will be pictures of shot ESN fighters but it looks like the reverse is the case.
The news is always about reinforcement on the Nigerian side and propaganda of chaos to trigger the indigenes
You propagandists seem to know what happens in Igboland more than us. So I went through the comments of the page you posted and realised that you people created Ebube Atụlụ so that when you attack you will say it is "Igbo vs Igbo" Mtcheww.. Ndị ara.
Rugaria: Finally, a thinking head.. Once I saw that vehicle, I thought as much. It looks like they drove into a mine or ambush. But something certainly blew them off course and that was why they recorded that relative high number of deaths.
You also have to note that steadily, as a result of increased federal government militarization of the conflict in the East, the weapons being used by both parties are getting more sophisticated. The other day I saw a video of The ESN boys with what looked like machine guns. We always saw them with just AK 47 and pump action guns.. Having been subjected to intense heat by the FG, it seems they have elected to "upgrade"..
Which brings me to the issue of bad management of the crises in the east by The FG. It seems like the government simply wants to show force. There's a strong belief within the government circle that any war in the East will be dealt with violently... After all, the FG believes they won the war over there in the past. Problem with this kind of analogy is that it discountenances two important points:
1) The international and Local collaborators and allies that helped truncate Biafra are no more there. There are no more desperate and overzealous groups in the South South and middle belt eager to go and fight in the East for the fulani. Not even the British or Russia will openly join in the killing expedition as was the case in the 60s..
2) The igbos, while not being a group known for wars are always good at starting off slowly but ending at the top in almost every endeavor. You can check every field of human endeavor where the igbos "dominate" in this country and you will notice they normally didn't start as the pioneers... But once they decided to follow through with such line of work/goal, they always end up doing very well at it.
BOTTOM LINE If you teach them how to fight, the will fight better than you in deu time... More reason a political solution might prove to be a stitch in time..
Finally someone that reasons/use his brains. A lot of people are unaware of the level the two party have gone. When I saw Nigeria using mRAP to convey their soldiers, I decided to dig into IPOB/ESN Facebook pages and YouTube channels to find out what changed and found the picture below, I cropped it from one of their recent videos. I don't think they are taking precautions or doubt their own capabilities because they left their faces open but I decided to atleast blur it a bit after cropping it out from the video. The level changed a long time ago while most people were busy arguing blindly on social media.
That means the new president of Nigeria and Afonjanistan has emerged. Time for the Obas to go and bow for him like the one bowing to Emir of Ilorin below
headSmasher: That means you will be happy if your father or grandfather of the age of the Igbo old men sitting on the floor while Fulani Muslim youths are sitting on the chair just because they are begging for akpu
LOL. Did your Afonja myopic brain cared to make you ask why they are sitting? Or respecting your conquerors (Hausa-Fulani) custom a taboo for you people?. Its like you people were expecting us to fight your masters for you. Cunny people.
If you want to see what inferiority means, look no further than the picture below. That is the picture of your Yoruba Oba kissing the feet of Fulani Gambari Emir in Ilorin, right in the presence of the guards and Palace maids.
SlyDev: Your leaders know Igbo are going to suffer if they leave Nigeria, reason they are afraid of even talking about it, but you an average igbo on the street knows nothing about the suffering that await you in beerfraud Republic
If someone that doesn't understand "Parasitism" reads this, he will think that you care about Igbo people not knowing that you are just worried about your own survival because when a Parasite is detached from its host, it dies
I like this your picture. It shows that if we do the same thing you Nigerians do like sitting the way Hausa people sit, you people consider it humiliating for us because You people see as superiors
Imagine we lie down to greet like Yolobas do, lol that will make Bill board in the whole of SW with the caption "how the great Igbos prostrated like Yoloba"
Fbisshit: You don't still get it, do you? Let's assume Nigeria remains an indivisible entity as they so cherish, why would they hate thesame people they have sworn to live with..
Because they can't help it. It is in human nature to hate/envy who is better than him.
Honestly this thread is the most stupid thread I have ever seen in a while. Sometimes I wonder how most of our people are raised outside Igboland that they care about other people's opinion about them so much.
I recommend that any Igbo person born and bred outside Igboland should sometimes try to roll with those of us born and bred IGBOLAND to upgrade their "no nonsense Igbo attitude" Down here we don't give a Bleep about what you call hate because to us it is admiration. I've said this before and I will say it again, the worst Nightmare of someone that dedicates his life to hating Ndigbo is to meet an Igbo born and bred in Igboland.
He he he he this is really funny. Hope the matches and lighter they plan on burning innocent villagers houses got lost in that accident.
I am not a fan of religion but it looks like the prayers of a village that is about to be burnt down has been answered.
To God be the Glory. This is just like all those stories in the Bible. So let it remembered that on this day, God in his infinite mercy saved a particular village in Anambra from being burnt down.
Dammit, I took out time to watch all of the videos you posted and was not surprised because I have visited all of them. The worst is that Yolobas see nothing in it all coupled with the deception from Nigeria's statistics. I don't see anything changing there in this century atleast. Poverty has ancestral roots there.
Yolobas are just lucky that we don't look for trouble, if not, most of them won't say that they are from Sad West in public.
PressMyButton: Ikwerre are not the ones dragging ibos rather ibos dragging ikwerre. Ikwerre were minding their business before Amaechi dragged them into the ibo attachment. They therefore have every right to respond.
Oga Afonja, Amaechi is from Ikwerre stock. So what are you saying?
They (both Amaechi and the writer) should let Ndigbo be. There are better Igbo people outside SE to worry about not Ikwerre.
OBALOLA55: WOW CAN YOU NOW SHOW US THE PICTURES OF OSHOGBO VILLAGE
INFACT LETS START WITH MAKOKO SLUM HERE IN YOUR NEW YORK LAGOS
They move around looking for selective pictures to mock Igbo cities but we just reply with official aerial view of their state capitals and they wail in peace.
So far people believe in miracles, they will also believe in rituals and as such ritualism will never stop.
Anybody that believes in sowing seed in church to real miraculous returns in cash can do rituals for money. The only difference is the kind of requirement he/she can stomach. No two ways about it
These "Ikwerre" people or whatever they call themselves should grow up and stop dragging the name "Igbo" to their pathetic existence. They are just behaving like all those senseless wives that call for divorce but won't let the ex husband live in peace after it. They say they are not Igbo but 95% of their lives is dedicated to monitoring Igbo afairs.
Can somebody tell me why out of the three names the person that wrote this article to drag Ndigbo have, he chose to go with two that are of Igbo origin "Chidi Wihioka" What happened to his baptizimal name or Political name or title. Only very few goes with first name as "Michael", "Darlington" or other colonial names yet you don't want to be Igbo and you can't let Igbo people be.
a "curlew" is called "igoloma/ugoloma In Igbo dialect of Ngwa/Ndoki Clan..
According to oral documentations alagbari-nye was Igbo of ngwa/ndoki clan who came from the Igbo hinter-land and settled/founded bonny Island. apparently from all indications Ugoloma was corrupted/mis-spelt to okoloma by the whites...
If the Ijaw claims of being one of the oldest tribes to settle at the coastal part of Nigeria in delta/bayelsa estuaries and coast they would have had a name for the curlew, as okolo in ijaw dialect simply means "roosting." popularly known as chicken and chickens don't fly.!
1) If truly the settlement was called OKOLOAMA by the ijaws, the europeans weren't too dull to have omitted the "Ama" prefix from the word.
Ajayi crowther recorded it as okoloma not okolo-ama
two other european explorers also recorded it as okoloma and not okolo-ama.
So my question to you Alabo is what is a curlew called in ijaw language? because okolo in ijaw simply means rooster.
In Igbo land every bird of the sky has a name
Eagle - ugo
curlew - ugoloma
vulture - udene
hawk - Egbe
pigeon- nnunu
E.t.c
from all indications from the research, ugoloma ( curlew) was christined to okoloma. As the founder of bonny island was of Igbo and Ngwa/Ndoki stock.
