KazeKage1: In other buzz worthy news, I'm about taking the plunge into the tablet family.I'm guessing you're in Nigeria. If you got family or friends abroad, 70K is enough to get you a very decent tablet, a xoom, galaxy tab, Sony tablet, playbook sideloaded with android apps. |
![]() @ OP, you won't find good(?) men at clubs or bars though. Just saying |
afam4eva: Luckily for you, Nigeria is an artificial creation. It can go away.Going away is problem half solved. The people in it require total re orientation. |
bakila: Before the next world how many bribe you don give.Don't give bribe! |

Everyday we keep blurring the borders of how a single nation can be everything bad Corruption, fraud, terrorism, human right violation et al. sometimes I'm so ashamed being Nigerian. I reject Nigeria in the next world. |

You'd have to search yourself, linking it here will surely make it viral. ![]() |
Our society is so DAMN bleeped! Just seen another entirely different video of Nigerian male students assaulting 3 female lesbians and making them perform lewd acts to each other for their own pleasure whilst being recorded. ![]() |
Can the UK please invade Nigeria and kidnap the remaining corrupt politicians for sentencing in the UK too. lol |
Our society is excessively brutal. They really need to introduce a section bout civil law into our school syllabus. Fair enough, the make-up artist filmed her without permission, her action is still assault punishable by law in sane societies. Nigerians have also accepted this as a way of life. Celebrities harass people with their military escorts, police brutalize and cut you up, Navy officer beating bats out of a woman. SMDH |
All the best to her. If she loses, maybe Nigerians would learn to elect leaders based on merit rather than some half decent leader especially when nominated by godfathers like they do in Nigeria in this case Obama. |
An absolute drubbing! Day 1 of 'Chelsea's 10 days of madness'. . . ![]() |
If anyone can point to or produce a competent leader irrespective of tribe, they have my vote. Tired of all this second hand politicians or ex-military leaders. In the name of tribal politics, we have possibly the most clueless and gaffe prone President ever. Yet, behind the scenes he is being propped for a second term. |

When an igbo president is elected, the OP can go drown himself. . . |
Your lives must be great to be contesting over Cyber Kingship and Chieftaincy Titles. ![]() |
Think he means he's elevated the living standards of himself and his croonies, the political elite and his militant brethrens - Tompolo & co. 1 billion naira a year feeding on Gucci rice, feragamo beans et al. |
Everyone is marginalized to a certain extent with some more than others. Truth is I have seen more Northern millionaires than the whole other sub regions put together, yet their people also rank among the poorest disadvantaged people nor does producing a political appointee from your region makes any difference either. |
As it stands, the Airforce is in dire straits. Our combat aircraft inventory is not glaring at all. From the Chinese made copycat of the Mig 21,to a couple of gunships, helicopters, C-130s and other transport aircraft. In a war with Mali, our lead aircraft would be incapable, it is more of a short range aircraft that can at best go from Lagos to Abuja as the crow flies, an odd choice for Nigeria to choose. Her massive heat signature makes it prey to ex Gadaffi anti air missiles. The F7 suffered about 44 crashes in Pakistani Airforce from 1981 till date. Most recently Feb 2012 while we lost one already and another trainer crashed too. Sadly our fleets of Sepecat jaguars and other capable fighter jets have been grounded or in a state of disrepair due to neglect from past Military regimes. Just wondering if there is a possibility to convert our present C-130s to AC-130 gunships ? though it seems the Americans are coy and wouldn't allow. Our satelites meanwhile can be of very great use to pinpoint enemy formation and targeted bombing campaigns. we need better airframes as you mentioned like the Sukhoi 30 or Mig 27s and not some reverse engineered version of our previously owned fleets of Mig 21s. |
Why are non-northerners concerned about Abuja. The indigenous owner if need be choose whoever they'll like to go with. Either the middle belt collectively join hands to wrest the shackles of the North over them or join them. |
Nigerian filmmaker Jeta Amata decided to rethink and reshoot his political corruption drama about the volatile oil-rich Niger Delta region of Nigeria, Black Gold, one of very few recent Hollywood/Nollywood-style collabs starring Mickey Rouke, Vivica Fox and others. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pze3itMFUGs |
andrewza: Could to know your navy is getting new boats. Any other info on them. Like weapons and crew size. The IPV looks like the same thing we built for supplying the rigs in nigeria. Same basic look. If I was in charge I would increase the OPV numbers to 3 to 4 you got a real threat from MEND and pirates and if you only got 2 you can only have one out at sea on a continual operation. There was meant to be another acquisition of 2 units of Portugese Viana do Castelo Class OPV's, however it seems an agreement could not be reached or talks stalled. Additional units would benefit our Navy's ability to effectively patrol our territorial waters where pirates, oil bunkerers and illegal fishing trawlers have free rein. Ideally, a new frigate is long overdue, our flagship(s) (F89 or F90) also needs to be replaced as soon as possible. Of course, all this requires a lot of money. |
Quite well known that spammers often hijack people's emails to send spam mails gaining control either by phishing or when you enter your log in details on a fake website. Even my grandma knows that @ OP. Besides, in your years of surfing the world wide web, I presume everyone else except you knows not to display personal emails on a forum, internet board or whatnot. Infact, I once came about my email on pastebin along with other nairaland users where spammers were passing them along. So quit barking at others for your naiveity |
andrewza: you really need to get a real fighter air craft. Even some old F16 would be a good buy has they are multi role and can there for be of use, since i doubt you will see many dog fights. We also got 2 new 95 metres OPV's complete with helipads included coming our way soon. Few (3) patrol boats already completed bar armaments and other acquisition. |
A Nigerian chinook ordered by the IBB regime. Sadly, they were never delivered. The one in the pic was for evaluation purpose. Pic courtesy: Beegeagle

Easy for them to overstate the existence of Boko Haram in Mali. An invasion of Mali by ECOWAS forces which predictably would consist of a large bulk of Nigeria's army would be suicide. Our army is currently overstrecthed and can not afford to be pulled onto another frontline with the likes of BH and MEND. Besides, amassing such troops is prolly gonna take a month or so. Also a risk of Nigeria being targeted by Tuareg Islamist Suicide Bombers if they end up on the losing side of the Malian civil war. |
