texazzpete: Haven't really switched to it as my primary device yet...still winding down on my iPhone.

i swear the move is harder than I thought. it would have been much easier if i'd dabbled with the GS II awhile before taking the plunge since that has a 4.3 inch screen. There's a system shock when you move straight from a 3.5 inch phone (iPhone) to a 4.7 inch device.

It's much harder to operate one handed though...and I cant seem to find the alphabetical shortcuts in the contacts page so it seems my days of dialling contacts while driving are numbered.

I'm trying to get as many of the essential apps as possible...shame about the less rich app selection on Android. It's one thing to talk about 'flexibility' and 'power' of Android but i'd cheerfully swap all the N64, Playstation and CPS2 emulators i've installed here with a working version of Garmin GPS or TomTom for Android...but it doesn't exist.

Understand your point bout screen size. Was gonna dump my 4.3 cos I thought it was too big. Now a 5 inch + is a best seller. But dunno why HTC can't churn out bigger 3000+ Mah batteries like Droid maxx which still maintains one of the slimmest android profiles and boy, it is rumored to be able to take 1.5 days of heavy use - gaming, music, movies et al
Yh, quite a few apps missing on android. An option is Copilot or sygic navigator which gives traffic real time update plus speed cameras. Also do try tiger arcade instead, you'll get more options plus CPS-3 titles and more arcade emus

With time,any other desirable missing presets like beats audio,srs surround, sony bravia engine, dolby mobile can be ported over to the S3.

did the copy of THE AVENGERS you saw had the subtitles for the foreign language parts?
the problem with the movie is that the downloadable copy has no English subtitles, and there are no subs links online at the moment (at least not any genuine ones)................ and the right from the beginning of the movie (the German part where Scarlett Johansson is tied up) you cant understand shiit!

No subtitles included though seemed to have better video quality than english copies. Had to re-edit my posts cos both movies were pulled down

tumababa: . . .A guy called me some times ago and said his iphone4 was running ios 4.3.3 and very slow. i asked him some questions at d about page and they were all accurate, except for the fact that the modem firmware was 1.59 which is not the bb of 4.3.3. i told him the iphone was software unlocked so he should bring it and i upgrade for him and see if that will rectify the problem. the guy brought the iphone only for me to realise its a china clone and using d regular sim(not microsim). before telling him d issue, i asked him how much he bought it, he said 75,000 naira in computer village. when i told him it was fake, he couldnt help but cry. his 2 months salary was gone!!!. Another guy came to buy iphone 4 from me and when he saw the sim tray, he started feeling smart and told me "he is looking for the original one dat use normal sim(no cutting)". wonders shall never end.

Not sure if true, but someone told me yesterday they charge 5 grand to install a single app on an ios device at computer village. Haven't people heard of cydia, besides an average ios apps cost just $1.70 or #294.
