I think this is already done in Namibia so Zimbabwe isn't the first.

Tagging would address lots of issues with livestock theft which most ignorantly were against.

I hope this also means the focus could also be switched to the baba-nla of cash inducements aka Mr Tinuke jagagbantis of Lagos once Wike's case is concluded.

The NIMASA deep blue project is commendable. It wouldn't be complete without tackling destructive fishing trawlers from around the world especially the Chinese! They move switching off their transponders and cart away metric tons of fishes from our EEZ.

No brainer some of these pirates were likely former fishermen who picked up arms after losing their livelihood.

Well there's your president. Make your judgment. He might appear upright but I see nothing new going to happen in the remaining two years of his presidency something I've said six months into his administration when I since abandoned ship. And I've not being proven wrong. Was it former President Obasanjo who said to be a successful president you need to be more than just a good person. And he proved it.

President Buhari won't change. Forget it.

Credit to him the money for weapons and for some new infrastructure was not stolen. The country is where we are because GEJ and the PDP stole unprecedented amounts of money.

Lacks qualities of a leader and unfortunately with his approach to governance, things might not get better. Listen from 11:14, his answer to open grazing and still fantasising about cattle routes spanning the country from colonial times. Implications are continued clashes and deploying youths in the army or security outfits to sacrifice their well being in order to clean up his misGovernance.

For a President already showing signs of ethnic favouritism, mentioning his Cousins in Niger as one of the reasons he'll be building a rail should not matter. Simply state the economic reasons and move on.

Even that, I await to see clear cut feasibility studies regarding benefits as read Niger still prefers use of ports and roads in Benin Republic due to ease of imports and straightforward logistics (Ref: Kaduna dry port)

There's also a Cotonou to Maradi rail under construction and further into Niamey even though massively delayed or with funding issues. If completed, do the maths which will be preferred.

Worst President ever.
I'll eat my hat if he had anything credible to say.

Now we hear it's pre recorded.
That everything has to be scripted to suit a favourable narrative means he's clearly out of his depths.

I know in your heart that you want youths to pick up arms like people in the East are currently doing, dude you're totally wrong.
Not every body will be crazy like you guys.
And I hope this would not turn into an Hausa war also, because if it does people from the east wil be the ones to suffer most. Kadunna for I stance has alot of Igbo people and business.
You guys should use your brains and not your mouth to cause war like what your leader kanu is doing, Twitter just deleted some of is tweets yesterday.
Fair enough, war and violence are best avoided as it brings out the worst in humanity.

If things continue like this where people get killed in their own hometown, expect levels of resentment to rise.

Presidency has been unsurprisingly quiet since the news broke out or previous instances in Benue but we know how quickly they reacted to herdsmen ban.

This is the leader you're serving under...

* Make it illegal for children under the age of 18 to be househelp. There should also be full rights for domestic servants as such.

*All children must be in school until the age of 16 years.

* Make it illegal to post photos of dead, mangled or maimed bodies as these images cause distress and strips us of humanity.

@bkackbaron or what do you call yourself I'll be blunt and straight with you...
It isn't today Nigeria started dealing with ethnic issues and violence.

We are asking why almost all cardinal points in Nigeria is suddenly dealing with insecurity. It is down to governance and nothing more. Nigeria already had teeming population of unemployed youths, but they were easily contained by just sufficient numbers of personnel.

When discontent began to surface, the response was a cold and somewhat hard approach from The Government. Lots of missed opportunities to be conciliatory in dealing with issues and seeming disregard for the grassroots. Last thing anybody wants with the issues in the NE is to have it extended to other parts of the country. The UGM issue in the SE is disgusting, evil and I say that with a family member in the Police force. However, don't forget that BH also fed off with initial support from the local populace before turning on them which UGM will likely do.

Now, we have an overstretched army seemingly trying to quell fire at almost all geographical location.
This thread is all about the army's welfare amongst others. There is no point in having a leader mismanage issues either by actions or staements and then send the army to clean up his misadventures.

The bidexi you quoted is paid to do PR for the Nigerian Army. This is how he feeds, he is paid to support evil. So, unless you can provide him with a better monetary offer, you will never make him see the truth. Alot of them on this thread are paid government agents contracted to support tyranny. Know this and know peace. This is why I don't try proving any point to any bagar here, i just state my opinion and keep it moving. Whichever way, folks with open minds who read from this thread will always see my truth and make sense of it regardless.
Let's be matured about this. We can attack the message and not the messenger. I'm a fan of his.

We blaim Buhari or the federal government for everything that befalls us, we have terrorism and kidnapping/banditry in the North East/Central and West and now ESN/UNG palaba in the East. Now let's assume there is another terrorist group named- "Odua people's fighters or WSN".... etc then there will be chaos every where, am just sighting an example.
Don't let us forget that its the grass people or the poor that will suffer the most, and the soldiers would always be the ones called to clean up the mess. All these stupid young men joining armed group bearing dangerous weapons causing troubles in there communities will still be the ones that will suffer the most. There also jobless youth doing something meaningful with there lives rather than carrying ak's in other regions of the country.
Honestly I don't understand how the federal government mismanaged security in the region. If that's your point, then it's enough reason for the Oduduwa whatever to start bearing arms and turn another region to a blood sucking area. .

BUHARI is responsible for this! He's a man without empathy and emotional intelligence. As a father of the nation, he was meant to reconcile and come to amicable resolutions. Instead, he seems to have no bearing or clues.

His 5% statement alone slowly confined FG support in the East to a bare minimal. Their best resolution of the farmer-herder crises was to force down RUGA and statements like 'Giving land for ranching is better than death' clearly enraged others. Banditry & Kidnapping in the NW started as a result of farmer-herder clashes, yet he still managed to ignore that and here we are.

The hydra from SW,SE and other places started from groups who set up to resist herding but has now escalated beyond that with criminals and others taking advantage of the situation!

By now, you should all have known 'Miyetti Allah Hore' is an almost militant organisation bent on their own will and a possible ethnic supremacist group. Despite other inflammatory statements in the past, The DSS GESTAPO has yet to invite or caution this extremist group.

Do not confuse them with MACBAN who seem more reasonable.
Politics / Re: Statistics: South East Tops Federal Civil Service Employment In Nigeria by BlackBaron: 5:54pm On May 18, 2021
Breakdown of names and tribal affiliations is a better identifier of the unevenly skewed federal appointments under this regime.

Representation by region alone is not an ultimate determinant of ethnicity. Some ethnic groups aren't sometimes in the same region as their kith and kins.

Very funny reading all sorts from the Northerners. It's ironic that the genesis of banditry started with Hausa farmers and Fulani herders clashing over land use in the North. Tit for Tat clashes later, created the current banditry issues spreading all over the North. It's documented in this article
https://www.thenewhumanitarian.org/news-feature/2021/01/19/Nigeria-bandits-peace-zamfara-fulani-pastoralism

Our own people are suffering from our farms getting overrun with expected food harvests disappearing, yet we are to fold hands and keep looking like we don't matter?!

Is it like there's a superiority issue where all Northern opinions and actions matters but Central and Southern Nigerians are second class citizens??

#18000 for a 12 hour shift?!

Minimum wage is #30,000 or it doesn't apply to private companies?

I was paying over #20000 plus bonuses years ago for a 5/6 hour job excluding transport, data etc.

Name & shame this organisations. This should be a governance problem escalated to the top with massive fines!

Lagos cannot finance many infrastructure projects and borrowing to fund others. Yet, Alpha Beta pockets 9% of badly needed funds.
We haven't touched on former LASG Gov disgusting perks and pensions.

If you're Nigerian, you sort of know this has always been the case to an extent.
Growing up with security guards, motorcycle riders from outside Nigeria, you soon saw them acquiring id documents which allowed them to become Nigerians after spending few years.

A recent news report also reported this happening as recently with The NIN database.

When it took the oldie with an analogue brain 6 months to select a cabinet, I knew he had nothing to offer. There's currently a leadership vacuum in this country and its glaring. The former General sits pretty while the nation burns?! No empathy, nothing!! Even to address the nation is a luxury right now.

Well.

In regards to food, how about using MREs? Very easy to lose morale and will to fight when you haven't eaten! Not like there isn't other dynamics involved too.

I had already given up on this administration but now it looks like the whole country is having palpitations and it is getting to close for comfort!

We're looking at the continued expansion of evil schemes by Tinubu and cronies, like asking the devil to investigate himself.

Imagine Okorocha, Ibori, Gandollar et al initiated this during their own time.
