Hopefully tis'll stop the #20 pittance they kill people for. |
emorse: you go school at all? All the guy was trying to say was that the people should obtain licences to supply fuel to vessels(bunkering) LEGALLY instead of doing it through the back door as it is currently done. Wether you like it or not, Nigeria depends largely(im being modest) on the south south. If you get beef, GO HUG TRANSFORMER!!!!!There are already legal oil bunkering barges in place. But like the pervasive mentality to paint all forms of criticisms as tribalistic then I guess we are going nowhere. My heart only goes out to the law abiding Niger Deltan on whose back his kinsmen get richer whilst his backyard and form of economic livelihood is sabotaged. After all, most of the militants have garnered so much clout and now rich with huge monthly stipends with the average villagers still enduring consequences of government, oil companies and saboteurs actions . Ken Saro Wiwa (RIP) would be turning in his grave |
gegee: so a criminal cannot say the truth again ? the poor niger deltan is sitting on wealth he cannot access because of our oil and gas laws that have vested the ownership of all oil and gas found within nigeria in the federal government. who give out licences to the multinationals who destroy the enviroment in the explration for oil and gas.the government does not even monitor the activities of these companies as they destroy the enviroment.the monies payed to the government by the companies cannot even be seen affecting the lives of the common people.but in the U.S IF OIL IS FOUND ON UR LAND U ARE THE OWNER AND U EITHER EXPLOIT IT URSELF OR U CALL IN COMPANIES AND THEY PAY U FOR UR OIL.IN NIGERIA THE OIL COMPANIES AND THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT EAT THE FOOD AND GIVE THE NIGER DELTA PEOPLE THE SHITOh weally, so you're after a free-for-all, basically asking for licence to destroy your ecosystem right? If only every region had 100% resource control... |
Drogba! Talk about 9 crucial goals in 9 finals. Always stands up to be counted |
Here goes the cross dressing indicted ex-governor infamously known for fleeing prosecution dressed as a tranny. Barring the environmental implications, says so much bout the quality of sophistication in our country when scums like this hold political offices. A Licence to illegal bunkering ? Next there'll be a lobby to issue licences to loot and plunder |
UPDATE ON ALLEGED TERRORIST CAUGHT WITH ‘GRENADES’ TODAY: SSS PROVIDE DETAILS, SAY ‘NOT FOUND WITH GRENADES’ Mrs Marilyn Ogar, spokesperson of the State Security Service has just provided an update on John Akpabu, the man who was apprehended earlier today with what had been initially reported as ‘grenades’ and 7.62mm rifle ammunition at the Radio House venue of a Ministerial Press Briefing. Speaking on NTA News about fifteen minutes ago, Ogar stated that it was teargas canisters and NOT grenades which were found on the man. Beegeagle can confirm that the canisters shown on NTA News were indeed three silvery teargas canisters. According to Ogar, the arrested man had gone to Bayelsa State to evacuate the belongings of his late brother, a policeman who died in service a few years ago. Contained in his brother’s belongings were rifle ammunition and teargas canisters. Wary of being apprehended, the man, an ethnic Eggon from Nasarawa State decided to head for the Radio House with the ‘prohibited material’ in the hope of personally handing them to the Minister of Information, who is himself also an ethnic Eggon. The rest is the stuff of the drama which unfolded earlier on today. Culled from Beegeagle's blog |
amosy007: So what will a civilian be doing with all that? Is he a paramilitary or something? Common manMy observation bout those canisters still stands, Nothing is making sense in Nigeria right now. From supposed non-northerners BH to a 'John' Everyone is beginning to look like BH to me |
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1_h8tGAWOVQ The way that Police man carries the backpack of 'explosives' on his back at 0:12 |
Seems anyone can be a BH member... Though those pics look more like cs or riot control canisters/smoke grenades/rifle launched grenades rather than hand grenades. I may be wrong though |
krystabella28: Ijaw Proud!I thought you were Non-Nigerian, now you've become an Ijaw |
You might need to credit the pic owners on skyscrapercity... @ topic - Nice houses nonetheless but most interior decor have always been underwhelming or tackily extravagant. I got my own radical ideas for interior decor; open plan living, stone cut(not marble) kitchen top and more. However the security situation means houses like this means potentially installing burglary proof which makes a house ugly in my opinion. Architects too should push the boundary, some of their designs are a bit boring. |
Money can not buy class. |
Your retorts are pitiful. Funny you were so keen on Mogadishu previously, cos you knew the current lull and calm will be only temporary as your ever eternal brotherly civil war since 1991 you switched to Northern Somalia which is Somaliland/Puntland territory right ![]() I daresay again, until you drop your clan based society... |
To save your race from self inflicted extinction, you need to abolish your qabili system and maybe take a cue from the Japanese who abolished their clan classes during the Meiji restoration. |
Some Nigerians are such agbayas... Jealousy will not kill them. Fact is Ghana is being better managed than Nigeria. |
If the rest of Africa had problems with her numerous tribes, Surely that'll mean a supposedly homogeneous population who practice an homogeneous religion would be better off. Yet the people from the Horners have defied logic by engaging themselves in decades of secession and civil wars, akin to families fighting families. I'm sorry to say, but your case is just a lost cause for mankind. Every other Non-African nations avoid your country like lepers and squirm with derision at the sorry state of affairs of your country, nor would they dare send their own troops to save your kind. However, other African nations took pity on you sending troops who are the ones presently keeping the peace in your communities. The very foundation of your country and her government's legitimacy is only being held in place by presence of peace keepers which would crumble at their retreat. Last time I read, your kids are currently playing truants rather congregating in video game centres bashing away at controllers which your community thinks its better than handling guns for Al-Shabaab. Your country is always the first port of call for charities eliciting funds for famine with an obligatory malnourished somali minor aptly located in a refugee camp. Yet, you come on here to extol the importance of your country. For all I care, if a tectonic plate shift could rip your country off the African continental shelf. No African nation would miss your lot one bit. |
Spurs fans must be Pissed! |
I'm such a Proud CHELSEA fan right now. |
We await the arrival of the 'Egotistic Nigerians' ![]() |
I'm find myself laughing at gullible Nigerians... I call this a form of institutional abuse, from beating with horse whip (koboko) to this. It's no wonder Nigerian soldiers pass out hardcore and maltreat the civilian population. In their eyes, they are now superior to the civilian counterparts cos of all tis sick drills ? BS! Yet to see this form of punishments in saner climates. |
Barbaric punishments...under the guise of drilling. They call that 'planting' not reserved only for NMS boys Any ex-commando would know what tis is about |
Any thoughts on the upcoming LG Optimus 4X HD...quad core and all? |
Why is there never cash issues when ministers, senators are to be paid Always the common man and the all-suffering corp members bears the burden. |
Who are the President's advisers? So much gaffes and comments credited to his name Prolly meant to say 'mechanised farming'... |
All I say is the rate of infrastructure development should keep up with the rate of population explosion. Yet to see any tribe not represented in Lagos due to her cosmopolitan status. However, don't underestimate a future struggle for shrinking resources if not tackled. |
Gangster rap is not my thing nor do I wallow in the aura of gang members. All I see in both rappers lyrics are violence, bragging, materialism, drug dealing et al. Pac, sometimes conscious other themes touched on police brutality, gangster loyalty plus shot 2 policemen. But hey! Horses for courses. All a matter of choice anyway, don't see any basis for comparison with Jesus' faultless message either. |
Wonder what positive legacy did Tupac and Biggie pass on considering... ![]() |
texazzpete: iOS has TomTom and Garmin with offline navigation.Copilot is free on android albeit under a freemium model. |
![]() LMAO It's no news in Nigerian football terms, a 40 year old is passed as an 18 year old teenager. ![]() |
Meh! Looks very underwhelming. Looks rather look gidigbo warfare we did as kids. Any wonder Boko still runs sonic rings round them. I'll rather incorporate Krav Maga, bit of rappeling, desert warfare, advanced driving, surveillance, use of flash bangs, night vision goggles etc |
