If it was then when psychometric sometimes comes before interview this would have been true. Although your interview performance plays the deciding role in the process.

But still for the executive/Engineer trainee, you get a mail after a successful interview for a psychometric test before medicals. They may be few exceptions but am yet to see one.

What u simply did was to adjust your time settings then send your self an email so it will reflect the set date. It is very easy to bypass gmail's date restriction na.
