All you guys thinking MMM is 'coming back' or the 'programmers are working on the system' are deluded to say the least. MMM did not make a mistake by switching off 13 dec. It was a calculated plot to cash out and resume to close gradually to minimize casualties that might occur should they close abruptly. It was a game well played and you guys lost. Just move on |

examhall: Super Eagles captain, John Mikel Obi, has been handed the Number 10 jersey and captain band at his new Chinese club, Tianjin Teda by coach, Jaime Pacheco. The former Chelsea midfielder scored his first goal in the 36th minute for the club in his team’s 6-2 loss to St. Pauli over the weekend. Congrats to him!

opidalo: Nice one. So maybe a cut-off was used then or a general average.
Anyways, we thank God we scaled through. Now that we are fairly sure that the next stage is interview rounds, who's got any idea how the interviews run. What do we expect? yeah bro, thank God we scaled through. I have been sniffing through nairaland to find even the smallest of reference to previous FMN recruitment to no avail. |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Flour Mills Plc Graduate Trainee Aptitude Test by BlackHummer(m): 4:29pm On Jan 04, 2017 |
opidalo: I have been forgetting to say this everytime I come online but thank God I remember now. It might prove useful to those yet to write the tests.
It might have come as a surprise to some that they got regret mails despite the feeling of having done generally well in the tests. I think knowing how the tests were scored and the successful ones picked could allay some feelings of regret (pun unintended).
After having read some threads on previous FMN Graduate Trainee recruitments and studying the structure of the tests themselves, I have come to a conclusion. As a refresher, the tests were (maybe are still) in 4 sections viz: Analogy and Antonyms, Logical Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning (Sentence Correction actually) and Problem Solving and the questions totalled 60 in number. Now, the thing is one would ordinarily expect anyone who scored above a cut-off to scale/ace the test, except that I think the you need to score above average overall and in the specific sections. This is what I mean; If you scored, let's say 65% overall and you scored less than 50% in any of the sections, you're not going to scale through unlike someone who scored let's say 55% and still managed to get above 50% in each and every of the sections would scale through. Therefore a person might perceive him/herself as having performed generally well but perhaps didn't do quite alright in maybe Analogy and Antonyms may be consternated to get a regret mail.
N.B.: These are just my thoughts based on what I have read on NL about FMN (while they still used Dragnet to conduct the test stage) and I haven't gotten by inside source to confirm this.
PS: I'll be happy to be corrected since its for the good of all of us.
Thanks. Great observation but I strongly doubt your premise. To a very large extent, the problem solving wasn't an issue for me but the other sections were just something else. I doubt if I scored up to 30% in the other sections but I got a success mail. |

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Please Is This Invite Real Or A Scam? by BlackHummer(m): 4:13pm On Dec 29, 2016 |
It is likely scam or GNLD. Avoid it. When ever you get a job invite with an unprofessional layout or some form of job code or reference, it is likely GNLD or its subsidiary. |
