What trash did you just write?! Igbos from Egypt?!EGYPT black society? The Egyptians mentioned the Nubians as black ppl! Herodotus or the Greeks never called the Egyptians black.Cheikh Anta Diop was the one who came up with the theories of some West African groups being from Egypt I believe. Ethiopians were already a society by the time Ancient Egypt came up. Furthermore, the Nwok people of Nigeria were already an advanced civilization by this time as well. If people from Southern Africa can be Jewish(there is a record of a black African tribe with matrilineal linkage to the jews) then SOME(not all) groups from west africa could have migrated from Egypt. There are several examples of ethnogensis in Africa from groups that traveled from some specific location to another, the Wolof and Hausa are good examples, but also the Swahili. What white culture do you know that worships the color black? Even in the middle east, people are afraid of the color black. |
she didnt say nothin too bad. What she say so bad? Lol, |
"It's time to work hard and make changes," said 17-year-old Khalifa Milud, who had studied in Britain for seven years. "I am not going back to the UK, now it's time to be here. We will make Libya at least like Dubai. We have a lot of money."Yup, if you were wondering what its gonna be like for black people. Just look at dubai. Slave wages for blacks and east and southeast asians. |
he aint even done nothing. He asked to have elections held and everything. I mean damn, its his fault all this happened basically, if he hadnt have been tryna reform and get belhaj out of prison, belhaj would never have been able to build up his arms in secret. |
Odendaal told Rapport that the Libyans were mindful not to shoot the foreigners and helped him to flee. That doesnt make any sense though. They have routinely killed everyone they thought was a mercenary for ghaddafi. Never once have i seen or heard of rebels "helping them escape" |
chinese society structured differently from nigerian society. while their's is a collectivist society that subjects everyone to strict comformity (most times, againt the wish of the people), ours is an individualist society where being unique as a person is encouraged. if it is the "chinese" government, then there's absolutely nothing there to admire or emulate. chikena!Really? Where did nigerians get the idea of an individual society from? I could have sworn there was an african proverb: It takes a village to raise a child Well in Western society they have their own proverb: Touch my child I sue you |
Tribal marks are African heritage. They are a sign of creativity and beauty. One thing I have noticed about traditional tropical Africans is that they used their bodies as their artistic canvas. They made their bodies beautiful whereas Westerners make their clothes beautiful. Scarification is beautiful. https://a3.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc7/317271_2376018641303_1275716733_2898777_5412679_n.jpg |
^^^^^^ I think cap may hate imperialism more than anything he hated Ghadafi for doing. Also, I think it proved to him that Ghaddafi really was independent of the west, because like so many of the great African leaders he read about, Ghaddafi was killed. The truth is this war was started with a lack of evidence, fueled by racist allegations of mercenaries, and with reporting that made the rebels seem like angels. For the first time ever, you had a british newspaper, the guardian i believe, praising a suicide bomber when he used a funeral procession to blow the military barracks in Benghazi. They tell you Ghaddafi's soldiers fired on the funeral processions, but they dont tell you people were using them to suicide bomb govt soldiers and buildings. It's crazy. |
Has anyone entertained the fact, that in a free Libya, Saif Al Islam could just run for President? He was the one who originally called for elections anyway. Has anyone also realized, that if the NTC allowed independent investigations of Ghaddafi and Mutassim's death, this could make it very hard for them to try Saif Al Islam in the ICC? |
Youre mistaken. By 1920, men and women were wearing western attire and took white collar jobs. Also, the act of bosom covering was established, in some areas, as early as 1900 or even earlier. They were not colonized before around 1896, so all that you said would still be a result of colonization. Are you ashamed of females with naked bosoms? Are they indecent to you? |
The same brother leader that grabbed land with bribes and threats in Mali for sales to European hedge funds. That was a libyan investment company not a european hedge fund. It was a joint operation between Libya-China that I dont agree with, but it was not a land grab for european hedge funds. |

Very good comparison - Did you know Omar Bongo's dad ruled Gabon with French military aid for 42 years?Lol technically they had elections! But yea, what can surprise you from the man who says: Gabon without France is like a car with no driver. France without Gabon is like a car with no fuel |
@blacklibyaYou can believe that if you want. The point is they drew libyans and syrians as white. They drew themselves as black people. The word for their land means black, they called themselves blacks, and they wore weaves, wigs, and braids just like every black African group does. It is not true that they knew far more about Phoenicians, Romans and Greeks. At the time Egypt was conceived, there were only Phoenicians, not Romans and Greeks yet. Nubia and Egypt grew synergistically, and many believe that the earliest ancient Egyptians came from Ethiopia. |
Want me to teach you some pidgin?Sure, i was trying to teach a bit of english tho. Anyway, yea that's fine, how different is it from cameroonian english? |
Gbagbo must be thanking his GodGbagbo won the election. |
I also think that English literacy is different from Pidgin English literacy. Put simply, I believe it is possible for Pidgin English speakers to easily read and comprehend Pidgin. Only time will tell.I can see where your going with that. All Africans I have seen speaking a pidgin english seem to transcribe the words in ways that a native english speaker would not. The spellings make it hard for us to pronounce words that we could otherwise sound out in order to understand. Jamaican Patois is a good example, because almost all Jamaicans speak English and are literate in it, it is much simpler to read and understand Jamaican Patois as opposed to Nigerian Pidgin, even though people from both countries can probably understand each other in speech. |
Gadaffi never had the ability to unite Africa because his motives were unethical, he was an Islamist and he never managed to get respect from Nigeria the Giant of Africa. His technique was crude and simple - “Offer Handouts for power”. He was a hero to those who love handouts.Ghaddafi wanted to create an African central bank(in abuja) an African Investment Fund(in Yaounde) and something else that was going to be in Sirte. Whatever the correct order or cities, the goal was to get the African nations off of the IMF/World Bank teet. The investment fund would work just like the IMF/World Bank, except with low interest and minus the "economic liberalization" they force you through, it would not be open to people outside Africa. The Gold Dinar, is what Ghaddafi proposed to unify the African currency. I dont think a unified African currency is far off, because before Europeans introduced paper money, nomads traded cattle and the sedentary folks traded beads and other beautiful things. It would get Africans off the CFA Franc and inflation depleted currencies and set them to gold. Rivaling OPEC, all oil purchased from Africa would have to be bought with gold, or at least gold dinars, I'm assuming OPEC countries could join at free will. Libya has some of the largest gold reserves in the world so they could have done this. As far as the whole USAFRI, I think Ghaddafi was bullheaded and rich enough to at least pull off a confederacy. He was the only still alive African leader who would spend so much money on achieving something like that. Anyway, as you can see the world economic powers that be had alot of reasons to kill him moreso than remove him from power. Killed or captured they expected him dead by trial in the end. He could always have just gone to another country(which he was too stubborn to do) and launched his initiatives from there. Well, you are confirming what I wrote above: His technique was crude and simple - “Offer Handouts for power”.Except Belhaj and his armed thugs sparked the violence in the rebellion. Saif was working with his group to try to bring some of the reforms they wanted to see in Libya. Secretly, Belhaj was waiting and arming his people for the right time to strike. You're right on one point about how long could he keep it up? Idk, he desperately needed the people who had been loyal to him and they were staunchly opposed to Saif's reforms. As much as he ruled with an iron fist, a King is still beholden to his aristocracy. One of the main reasons King Afonso couldnt stop the slave trade out of Kongo. Thats quite true, the educational system is eurocentric and not geared towards solving African problems. As a result Africa is like a training ground for graduates that can only be effective in the west. Its quite sad that Africa has not invested enough money into education, Nigeria used to have some top universities but the lack of investment has ruined them.I agree. Africa takes the European economic model and tries to export it onto itself. One problem with economic evaluations of Africa, is that just because African countries rank dead last in GDP growth, doesnt mean they have weak economies. If the govt is not taking in receipts, and people are not exporting much, Western economics says everyone is poor. So African govts have been steadily trying to increase exports, making people poorer, reducing the agricultural/ecological diversity of their economies, and thus being forced to rely on imports and loans for huge infrastructure projects to accomodate all this, devaluing the currencies and putting people into desperate states of poverty IMHO. I always say Africans never had to play keynesian economics and paper currency with the Europeans, but doing so is why they are perpetually poor. Yes, England and France are the biggest arms dealers in the world. Even the RASCOM satellite that many here are shouting about was manufactured by the French. That means the maintenance, training, upgrades will all come from the French yet they say it was a motivating factor for the french to remove Gadaffi. Do they seriously think that if RASCOM did not exist the French would not have removed Gadaffi? Lol!Interesting to note the french helped build it. Wow, i didnt know that, but you dont think the above mentioned reasons would have been sufficiently damaging to France? |
What is bugg bugg meat? Insects? Anyway, Nigeria speaks pidgin english, but Salonians speak Krio, which is a creole. The difference between pidgins and creoles, is that the pidgin is not usually a first language, and also it contains more words from the native language or can switch syntax between the native languages and the substrate language(english). So, with that being said, a Nigerian's pidgin may not be understood by other west africans, and because pidgin is not standardized(which would eventually make it a creole) it would be hard to expect people to know how to spell the words they say, when they dont understand the alphabet to begin with. |
it is so hard to understand nigerian pidgin because nigerians cannot spell regular english. A bobo is a fool. A booboo is a term of affection. D.amn, "im" is "I'm" the correct spelling is " 'em " . bleed |
Everyone always talks about how Libyans should be rich and ghaddafi was pilfering all the money. What about Gabon? Gabon is filled to the brim with oil, and only has 1/6 the population of Libya, yet its people are dirt poor compared to what libyans had. What do you all say about that? Gabon is a "democracy". Omar Bongo said Gabon is the fuel for France's car. |
It is very hard to study modern nigerian history. With over 70 states it gets difficult to keep track of everything. So I dont! But even on the federal level, within like the first 10 years Nigeria had to have more than 5 rulers. It's ridiculous. |
Im confused. Anyway, Idk, so many people seemed to be happy under Ghaddafi. I never got to go to libya to experience it. Next the man will say Ghaddafi was not anti imperialist? |
It cannot be set so early, for if it were their breasts would not be covered. Why are Africans so ashamed of their traditional ways and dress? This man is not white, why dont these nollywood movies ever use real white folk. |
I see your point but you have to work with what exists. Most Africans do not want to unite so what next? The best thing to do is create projects that will promote cooperation; Its co-operation that will bring about unity.Dude I dont know, your right most of them dont want to unite, but Ghaddafi was charismatic enough and gave out enough money i really think he could have got the central banks and gold dinar off the ground which would have worked wonders for Africa, even if the United States of Africa never happened. Even the best African leaders have killed their opposition, I hate saying this but you practically have to. The only reason this rebellion happened is because Ghaddafi was giving them so much freedom, and because they didnt update their military. Too busy spending on social programs. Which is great! But Europeans are bloodthirsty. Dude I think about your second point all the time. Like why is Sudan willing to destroy its Nubian heritage by building a large dam on the nile when Sudan is almost all desert and they can use solar power, with much less environmental consequences? Just from reading the comments here, you can see that Africans are quick to eschew their culture and traditions for the hottest new thing out from the West. The smartest Africans go west and work in American and European unis, so when they invent something the West gets the patent anyway. African countries have traditionally spent too much on the military, waste too much thru graft, and then they have to pay people like sarkozy and others. Allegedly at least $20million has been given to france from Françafrique leaders in like the past 8 years. 20 million is the lowball number, i mean, its just sad, African universities are mostly flops. The 2nd best uni in Africa is the American University in Cairo, which is an American private school. |
Why do people always bring up ghaddafi invading Chad. There were about 7 Chadian revolutionary groups that asked for Libyan assistance because they were tired of being French puppets. The opposition coalition eventually fell apart because they felt the leader might be a Libyan puppet and didnt want a unified Islamic state. The whole point was to get rid of the French though. Ghaddafi harassed the French across Africa, esp. with his gold dinar plan. Why do you think France was so eager to drop the first bomb? |
stmarc32 our a good for nothing poke, Idiots like would be happy to bleach their skin or be reborn as a white man.You berate the colour of the woman who gave u life .You need to be locked up in a cage and used for experiments coz your mind is farked big time. Are you that desperate that your goin thru my old posts?are you and cap the same person? cap28 So you think trawling through my old posts - posts that were written over a year ago [/b]somehow discredit my current stance with regard to Qadaffi, |
Africans should be more interested in developing their countries than "uniting" for no reason other than we are black and live on the same continent. You mean all those artificial lines on the map europeans created? If you all dont unite, neither you or the congolese will be able to develop his country because the West will kill all the leaders that legitimately try, and support all the leaders that give them dirt cheap resources through the back door. Did you know that billions of dollars worth of minerals leaves the Congo illegally every year? If Congo was not in constant war, do you think that would be possible? If Congolese did not worship white skin, do you think they would focus more on themselves as a people, and do something about their country? |
All these articles mention this picture. This must be for people who cant look at videos, he is dead, its on video. More than one video to be exact, people are lining up to see his body in misrata. Quite grotesque if u ask me. |
