You will notice that Muammar Gaddafi Family members are part of the international banking cartel.

the very moment you decide that leadership is a birthright and not a stage/phase in life.
what about the fact that the rebels were murdering people in benghazi? What about the fact that Al Qaeda was fomenting the rebellion? The French had their hand too,

u would just step down in the face of all that?

The Biafrans, Adekunle Fajuyi, Ironsi's and other numerous Nigerians families are still waiting for apologies from Nigeria till day after tomorrow about the way they were killed.
He that is without sin, cast the first stone. Tongue
Nigeria would not have been allowed to colonize Biafra if it wasnt for the british assistance.

young arm, if you knew anything about african history, you would know that the colonizers often used disaffected Africans to accomplish their goals.

The Fante became a protectorate of Britain after Britain promised to help them against the Asante.

It is like this in many African countries,

if the west help you get rid of Campaore or Mobutu who killed those 2, would you applaud them or not?
No because the CIA and Belgium funded Mobutu so he could kill Lumamba, Belgium issued an apology about this a few years ago.

France used Boigny to setup Sankara because they felt he was disrespecting France.

So no, i wouldnt appreciate it since it was their fault that they died anyway.

All that is being rubbished now and am reading conflicting stuff after his death. we shall know the truth
Yea Ghaddafi did have tons of blood on his hands, think Congo, Angola, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Sudan.

At the same time, he did alot to fight imperialism, and in his last 10 years, he did alot to help Africa.

He seemed to turn away from spending money on terrorism and war, and more into helping African people. Yes people his money killed may have died worst deaths than him, I feel hurt for those millions. But I am at a loss when I have to think about how is Africa as a whole, with its billion, going to rise up without someone willing to take the wrath of the west like Ghaddafi did.

Its not that I dont care about the millions who died as a result of his money and actions, it's that I wanted to see Africa stand up for itself, I didnt want to see the colonialism that's happening, nor the persecution of the blacks that's going on in Libya right now.

How are we better?
Lets not forget that ancient Tripoli, Carthage, and other ruins in Libya survive until today to give them a sense of pride and show the world the contributions they have made.

Can we say that about Benin City? Can we say that about the great wall of benin which was bigger than the great wall of china and yet NOBODY knows about it and Nigerians destroy it on the daily to build their houses?

Whoops, lets not forget when the british sacked sokoto and destroyed that. Or the fact that from what I can read online, there are no nigerian cities that survive in their pre-colonial states, except maybe to some extent, the sacked sokoto.

That presence of ancient monuments is important to a peoples.

Wow Pendo, I see why u support Museveni, I just hope he doesnt sell the Ugandan rainforest, but from what u posted earlier, it appears that wont happen.

Im not happy about his deal with New Forestries though,

I do know a girl in Uganda though, she says corruption is like crazy, and that growth and progess are slow. Museveni also limits the influence of Buganda, which is the traditional powerhouse in the country, and was originally part of the Uganda Federation, prior to its attempted dissolution by Obote who was afraid of Buganda ordering weapons from abroad. As u know, Idi Amin attacked and destroyed the palace of the Kakaba, Obote claims that same day he tried to kill him.

Libya exports over 1 million barrels of oil daily, with a miniscule population of 6 million people. Even if you distill the greed from Lucky Igbinedion, Ohakim, Ibori and all our thieving Senators and put it in one extra greedy man and make him Libyan president, all these things would have trickled down to the people.
So what? Gabon is even smaller than libya.

Omar Bongo, former president of Gabon(1996):
"Gabon without France is like a car with no driver. France without Gabon is like a car with no fuel, "

Would be hard for those people to do these things in DR CONGO now without getting caught. It is a good question though.
I read an article in the NY times the other day(yea i know NY Times)

but anyway, they were quoting a rebel saying that the rival rebel militias dont even fight each other no more in DRC. They fire into the air before they enter a village, the other group leaves, and then they just come into the villages and kill/rape/steal. The goal is depopulation to get at the resources.

Why aren't the Japanese who were levelled with the atomic bomb blaming the West now? why have they progressed and now rival the west now? Undecided
Japan doesnt have any resources, as a center of innovation, it benefits the U.S more because it provides the tech for our weapons.

They were also never colonized despite having the bombs dropped. Almost all of their cultural institutions and monuments remain intact, and they still practice their native religion, and retain their native values.

That is why Japanese culture is SO WEIRD, because they are an island people who have not been forced to change to the Western way.

So your saying in 08-09 Ugandan troops invaded Congo looking for Kony?

Why cant we just go to DRC and save those people there from the Rwandan militias. The U.S doesnt care about human rights, and until africans stand up for themselves we will keep getting blown up for their sport and to test out their new weapons.

Cap just give up. Nobody is going to care even when u show them facts.

They dont care about Milton Obote being couped in the 70's with british help by Idi Amin in Uganda.

They dont care about Thomas Sankara being demo elected and couped by Boigny and his French masters

They dont care that Patrice Lumumba was after his election in the 60's because he wouldnt give away Congo resources(Belgium/CIA)

They dont care that the CIA repeatedly tried assassinating Nkrumah till he went mad and crippled his own govt, inspiring a CIA-assisted coup in Ghana.

Nobody cares,

Has anyone even read Nigeria's colonial history? Lol, u have entire sections like Calabar, basically sign themselves over to the British voluntarily. After seeing Benin, Sokoto, and maybe one or two others fight and get sacked, they all volunteered for british protection.

Nope the greed in him wouldnt and he ended up being killed by the people he called rats and cockroaches.
The greed in him wouldnt allow it?

Really though?

His greed?

Al Qaeda and the Libyan Rebellion:

A new report from two French think tanks concludes that jihadists have played a predominant role in the eastern-Libyan rebellion against the rule of Moammar Qaddafi, and that “true democrats” represent only a minority in the rebellion. The report, furthermore, calls into question the justifications given for Western military intervention in Libya, arguing that they are largely based on media exaggerations and “outright disinformation.”

The sponsors of the report are the Paris-based International Center for Research and Study on Terrorism and Aide to Victims of Terrorism (CIRET-AVT) and the French Center for Research on Intelligence (CF2R). The organizations sent a six-member expert mission to Libya to evaluate the situation and consult with representatives on both sides of the conflict. From March 31 to April 6, the mission visited the Libyan capital of Tripoli and the region of Tripolitania; from April 19 to April 25, it visited the rebel capital of Benghazi and the surrounding Cyrenaica region in eastern Libya.
Benghazi is well-known as a hot-bed of religious extremism. The Cyrenaica region has a long Islamist tradition going back to the Senussi brotherhood. Religious fundamentalism is much more evident here than in the western part of the country. Women are completely veiled from head to foot. They cannot drive and their social life is reduced to a minimum. Bearded men predominate. They often have the black mark of piety on their foreheads [the “zebibah,” which is formed by repeated prostration during Muslim prayers].

It is a little-known fact that Benghazi has become over the last 15 years the epicenter of African migration to Europe. This traffic in human beings has been transformed into a veritable industry, generating billions of dollars. Parallel mafia structures have developed in the city, where the traffic is firmly implanted and employs thousands of people, while corrupting police and civil servants. It was only a year ago that the Libyan government, with the help of Italy, managed to bring this cancer under control.

Following the disappearance of its main source of revenue and the arrest of a number of its bosses, the local mafia took the lead in financing and supporting the Libyan rebellion. Numerous gangs and members of the city’s criminal underworld are known to have conducted punitive expeditions against African migrant workers in Benghazi and the surrounding area. Since the start of the rebellion, several hundred migrant workers — Sudanese, Somalis, Ethiopians, and Eritreans — have been robbed and murdered by rebel militias. This fact is carefully hidden by the international media.
[b]As soon as the protests started, Islamists and criminals immediately took advantage of the situation in order to attack high-security prisons outside Benghazi where their comrades were being held. [/b]Following the liberation of their leaders, the rebellion attacked police stations and public buildings. The residents of the city woke up to see the corpses of policemen hanging from bridges.

Numerous atrocities were likewise committed against African workers, who have all been treated as “mercenaries.” African workers were expelled, murdered, imprisoned, and tortured.
During the three weeks [that the town was controlled by the rebels], all public buildings were pillaged and set on fire. . . . Everywhere, there was destruction and pillaging (of arms, money, archives). There was no trace of combat, which confirms the testimony of the police [who claim to have received orders not to intervene]. . . .

My tribute goes to the Misrata fighters,
All hail Misrata!!

Libya City Torn By Tribal Feud- WSJ :
Ibrahim al-Halbous, a rebel commander leading the fight near Tawergha, says all remaining residents should leave once if his fighters capture the town. “They should pack up,” Mr. Halbous said. “Tawergha no longer exists, only Misrata.”

, hatred of Tawergha has racist overtones that were mostly latent before the current conflict. On the road between Misrata and Tawergha, rebel slogans like “the brigade for purging slaves, black skin” have supplanted pro-Gadhafi scrawl.
And thank you Mr.Sarkozy for your wonderful treatment of Africans!!

Do you people know more about Libya than the Libyans themselves
Lol, so i guess u believe that all the black people in libya are mercenaries right? Even this week when the gunfight broke out in Tripoli, the rebels ran around pulling blacks out of cars and their homes saying they were mercenaries.

Why the hell would mercenaries stick around after the govt fell, and be driving around in cars or sitting in their homes during a gunbattle that they are paid to fight in?

Really? Are u believing EVERYTHING the NTC says?

Most of the armed people fighting Ghaddafi say they dont take orders from NTC.
Foreign AffairsRe: The Son Of Africa Claims A Continent’s Crown Jewels by BlackLibya: 10:22pm On Oct 20, 2011
My apology, in this case of guatemalans(not venezuelans), it was not Uganda but Eastern Congo.

However a few years later there were 16 U.S special forces in Uganda, and M7, his son in law, and these S.F all planned an operation to capture Kony.

It doesnt say whether they were in Garamba in Congo, or Northern Uganda, but it was a multinational operation.

It does say that after the attempted assassination, Kony wrecked havoc on Northern Uganda.

It's kind of long.

Foreign AffairsRe: No Substantial Evidence That Gadaffi Is Dead by BlackLibya: 10:09pm On Oct 20, 2011
he is dead my friend. There are videos, one of them is very clear, but i cannot find it because it is titled in arabic.

I think nato killed him, although he kind of appears alive in one video, they say he was killed by a bullet to the head when the NTC forces were driving him, because NTC forces and Libyan forces were shooting each other.

That sounds unlikely because Ghaddafi was obviously the only casualty.
Foreign AffairsRe: What Gaddafi's Death Means To Africa by BlackLibya: 9:59pm On Oct 20, 2011
With what happened in Cote D'Ivoire and to Gadaffi, AU abi na OAU, should just fold up, they are irrelevant, useless, a waste of precious time and scarce fund.
Its because nigeria, south africa, and gabon sold out.

Why the AU countries on the security council would pass a resolution that gives the AU zero authority over Libya while declaring the Arab League in charge when Libya is an African country, is beyond me.

Are there still nigerians or subsaharan africans in that place? Huh

If he thinks the west is trying to overthrow him, why would he invite the special forces there?

BTW its not the first time we have been there, Bush sent a team of special forces there when he was in office, they were all killed. It's suspected that the Ugandans played a double game, im sure the Americans wont let it happen again. In that instance, the troops were venezuelan but the military advisors were american, it was a UN mission i believe.

The woman who yelled "i want my country back" said it best . . . its all about the blackie usurping the white man's throne.
Thats what they want u to think. It really doesnt matter who wins becuz bush and obama had the same types of policies. They both overstepped the constitution and i havent met anyone in the tea party who was racist although i definitely believe race plays an element in the tea party.

Most of them, if u talk to them for a few mins, will admit that bush was horrible and obama was no better. They are easily brainwashed by fox news and republican rhetoric, but when they think about it they all know neither party is helping us.
