I've always found it disgusting when parents name their kids after themselves with the suffix Jr. attached. But this practice is not common with women. Obviously a product of a male dominated world, even in child naming. |
Even the cowards that seek refuge in foreign countries after they've stolen public funds quickly realize that they're are just another Negro, may be well dressed. The lure to flaunt their ill gotten wealth in Naija is hard for them to resist. Again, nature creating the perfect condition for deprived citizens to exert their revenge the best way they can. BTW, this criminal enterprise of elites and silverspoons is not restricted to the North. |
If you steal public funds to become mega rich and produce silverspoons in the midst of poverty, you better emigrate from Naija. If you decide to stay and act rich for the suffering masses, no amount of security will protect you from desperate, angry and frustrated youths. Sooner or later you or your loved ones will pay a prize for the selfish misappropriation of public funds. Robbery and killings will continue to rise and the so called "Nigeria Silverspoons" and their family cannot escape from the wrath even if they seclude themselves in Kirikiri-like compounds. |
Mamajama: BURUKUTU and IGBO is a bad combination.Just to be clear, you must have meant "IGBO" as in weed. |
I don't have any time nor resources to elevate any animal to pet level. There's just too many human suffering in the world especially Africa to devote serious thought to animals, except as a source of nutrition for humans. |
Seinfeld is immortality in comedy. Friends and others may be really good but not in the same class as Seinfeld It's all about nothing. |
My Igbo, which BTW is core Igbo, has no conceivable connection past, present or future with Jews. Please don't get it twisted. |
initiate: I just learnt of something that chilled my bones and I am writing for confirmation or denial from the appropriate quarters. You brought your grievance to the appropriate quarters. Oga Seun, over to you. Please inaugurate a panel of inquiry promptly. Justice delayed is justice denied. |
My bad. Double post. ![]() |
Ignorance of other cultures is the root cause. Nigeria is still largely an ignorant society despite the frequency of passing people through our education mills called universities. As enlightenment improves, tribalism and other related societal ills dissipates. We are less tribalistic now than in the 60s. |
Pretty girl. She's got to do something about those overblown boobs. It could be a health risk. |
Seun: Stop trying to disguise your racism as nationalism. Leave the South Africans alone.I don't see the connection. His points are not unreasonable, even if not valid from a S. African perspective. |
Baseball fans, can you wish for any more excitement and heartbreaks as the playoffs roll in. Of course the world conquering Yankees are in, and also the usual suspects, the Red "Sucks". How about the total collapse of the Mets. I pity my man Willie Randolph. He might lose his job. Kudos to Jimmy Rollins and the Phillies. He called it and made it happen. My prediction for the world series, YANKEES all the way. Sit back, relax and enjoy the show. |
Are you a nympho? That's what Keziah means where I come from. May be that explains why you get pissed and freaky over spoken language. |
ME. Born in October and will die in October. |
debosky: Yaradua's guinea brocade is looking good. ![]() At least we now have a presentable leader to showcase in int'l forums. |
Despite our woes, we've made some progress in political enlightenment. People are more aware and agitate over irregularities in government. This is a welcome development in evolving a lasting solution that will be borne out of the collective will of the citizens. We're by no means closer to a solution to our perennial problem of bad government and corruption, but the mere fact that we now have hand picked reps in place of a military junta is a first step. |
Who are they? Action heroes or cartoon characters? |
As a teen growing up, if a girlfriend of my buddy shows up with her friend, 99% of the time we always give it a shot. Like they say, you never know. If it's your lucky day, you might get some free p*ssy or at the least some smooching. It wasn't always successful but at least you tried. It was all part of growing up. |
Why don't you ask your parents, who obviously are pressuring into marriage, to pick for you. Of course they're are your source of "hotness". Normally, female suitors are the farthest thing in the mind of a Naija 17 years old. |
A clear case of misplaced patriotic zeal. Sports is just entertainment and equating sports excellence to the love of one's country has always been the bane of 3rd world countries. I wish such patriotic zeal shown in sports by Africans can be applied to human endeavors that actually impact people's life. |
Majority of Nigerians are aware and love the good things in life, but guess what, they can't afford it. The only resort is to beg, steal or get it any way they can. To condemn hustlers in a society where a few has cornered the available resources seem elitist to me. |
Someone help me out here. I thought these programs are on subscription satellite TV. What about parental control if you don't want your kids watching adult contents. |
Me I like this shit!!! Can I watch the program online? I just became an ardent fan. I'll love to see more natural looking sisters naked. |
