Most of the world do not know jack about Africa, not to talk about Nigeria. Reality is that those that pay attention to the likes of Nigeria just scoff at our often potrayed bad character. |
9ja_luvin: i'd hate to break up with his ass over a car but the tension is driving me crazy. why are african men so insecure about dere women steppin up?May be the guy is not feeling you, Daddy's car and all. Or did you think getting a car from Daddy will make you control his ass. |
The last time I watched wrestling was in days of Mighty Igor. My adult brain is not compatible with the shenanigans of WWE's steriodfest. |
Have they de-segregated sports in SA? Just asking. |
Vick is in a bad situation here. I'm not worried about the Feds and the indictment as much as the folks around him who may make a deal and incriminate him. Grand jury can indict with the slightest of evidence. It's left for the Feds to prove Vick's connection to the alleged crimes. This is where all his hangers-on will play a vital role. With all the negative press already, the Feds only need to secure some reliable testimony from witnesses to convince a jury that Vick knows or should have known about the crimes committed on his property. At least he can afford the best attorneys to discredit the witnesses that will surely rat him out in court. I wish him the best of luck. |
ucohinya: there's this other guy that wants me and do give me hope 4 2morow.Hope is just what it is, HOPE. May turn out to be a nightmare compared to the reality of your current boyfriend. |
Best case scenario. Slim, tall or average height woman with straight thick legs to fill up a knee high boot, to go with a dress or skirt that stop above the knee. Best worn in winter and maybe spring. Do not wear boots in Naija. Too hot. |
Cats are often creeping around people and these folks are more or less breathing corpses. So, if you add these two unrelated facts, there is no groundbreaking story here. BTW, I hate cats, and other pets too. |
Women get beat because they allow it. It's a choice and that's why it's still prevalent. I have no pity for those that choose to stay. You never know the reason behind some choices. Gives her orgasm, may be. |
Where are the virgins at? Pre-school ![]() I'll rather stick to the "disvirgined". Easy to find and knows the difference between ass-hole and p*ssy. |
viee, is that girl in your profile u?Serena Williams. Thank you. |
omosexxxy: Hey! am not a dog and that is why I wouldn't go into the streetI didn't mean "walk the streets", literally. You got to be smarter than that. There are lots of places to hang out in Naija. And what's up with "my dad is a senator BS" Kids. |
I wish S. Africa the best, but my best chance in life lies in the success of Naija. The success of another country, black or white cannot guarantee my Naija folks freedom and prosperity. Lets not get it twisted. |
Is the "breaking news" the fact that he is colonel or that he was shot by armed robbers ![]() |
You seem to be a "busy-body". Why don't you mind your business and do your job. You sell yourself short courting people for approval, and ending up insulted. Indians, for crying out loud. |
Topic makes for an interesting thread that will surely generate lots of response. But if you really want a f*ck-buddy, just show up in the street of Lagos or any other Naija city. You'll get tons of guys scrambling to talk to you. A month stay in Naija hasn't wiped out your "away" hotness" yet. So you can pick and choose, and remember to insist on rubber. |
Selective prosecution is still a lot better than no prosecution. We can't continue living in a Banana republic. The country has hit beyond rock bottom. We desperately need any semblance of the rule of law, selective or not, to begin salvaging this country from abyss. We have no choice. |
If you have responsible relatives to entrust them, the best option I recommend is high school/secondary school education in Nigeria. The kids at that age are old enough to appreciate their heritage and there are good private schools in Nigeria that they can get quality education. |
mystikal: WHAT EXACTLY IS THIS "NEW NYSC QUOTA SYSTEM? ![]() I'm beginning to wonder if any such policy exists or just Naijatalk. If anyone has actual knowledge, please inform us. |
The unfortunate thing with us is that we tend to value ourselves a lot higher than we're collectively valued. This often increases the shame and anger we experience when we're often disrespected and ignored abroad. Only way out is to keep working on the gains of a democratic government to improve our country. |
Colomentality in full view. If you can't afford white soaps, get a Hispanic voice over play. They all have silky hairs and that will give the stupid story instant credibility. |
What exactly is the "New NYSC Quota System". Do they deny graduates duly certified to them from the universities from participating? That could be a ground for a law suit. Government should not deny it's citizens means of livelihood, especially since the law provides that you must serve as a condition for employment. If government must enforce the NYSC law, then they must allow every eligible graduate to serve as at when due. I hope this complaint is not about schools not sending the list of eligible graduates to NYSC on time. I know something similar used to happen with the Nigeria Law School, where some universities scramble to send the list of qualified graduates at the very last minute, to have them denied admission. |
It's not your fault that as a Nigerian you must go through harrowing experiences because of foreign regulations aimed to guard against illegal practices from suspect nationals. eg transit visas. Until a stable democratic government gains back some of our lost image and credibility, this problem will persist for Nigerians and other similar nationals. Fly direct if you can or make every arrangement for your comfort if choose to make pit stops. |
It's just how story develop in our media that I'm intrigued with. I took notice of him in the build up to the tournament from press interviews crediting him as team captain, and the story that her mum is an actress in Naija. All of a sudden, he disappeared when the games started. I believe that that the press owes the public a duty to inform them about the sudden change of team captain. |
I noticed something unusual in the ongoing U20 world cup. Prior to the start of the tournament, Ozokwo was widely reported in the media as the team captain only to come off the bench in their first match. Bala has started as captain even in matches that feature Ozokwo. Today, I read reports on FIFA.COM crediting Bala as the team captain. I've been unable to see any media report on the leadership change. It's kind of unusual, but then again, Naija style is always against the norm. |
I'll still keep asking this question that most people seem not to have noticed. When and Why did the published captain of the team change from Ozokwo to Bala and Ozokwo relegated to the bench? |
Naija player tossing his jerseys to the fans (previous page) better be sure NFA came with enough set of jerseys for their matches, or he may be playing the rest of the competition topless. |
It's black or white. Do you have the guts to call it? That's the million dollar question. |
obong: Abi as the prof. in America said she should write on something unfamiliar, she has decided to write on the Juju of Eastern Nigeria, and maybe how it played its part in the Civil War.What are you talking about Canine-delicacy lover? ![]() |
Thanks Albert09 for the little clarification on the statutory requirements of window tinting. That's the fun of Nairaland for me. Who really cares about a whole thread on where to tint a window and the cost. Go to Ladipo as some folks has rightly suggested. ![]() |
