I have asked MJBOLT if Captain Marvel is a great and flawless movie.... instead of giving me a straight answer he is busy quoting Facebook and Cinema score... grin

it has an A on cinema score which means audiences loved it.

A terrible film like Last Jedi which was hated by fans also received an A cinema score. undecided

A bad film like Transformers age of extinction also received an A cinema score. undecided

Star War7 the La7t Jedi grossed $1.3+ bn, while Transformers Age of Extinction grossed $1.1+ bn. So what's ur point exactly?
Those were terrible movies that earned billions.

When will you drop a review of Captain Marvel.

Most people on this forum are saying the movie is underwhelming.

look at this HYPOCRITE,how come you never mentioned the quality of Underwater Wakanda, all you talked about was the billions it made.

Continue crying,we all know when it comes to quality movies DC can never match marvel and Captain Marvel is better than the DCEU
At least I admitted that Aquaman had it's flaws. undecided

BO numbers did not stop me from saying the truth.

Marvel fanboys always pretend that their movies are perfect with no flaws at all.. undecided

You now saying that Captain Marvel is better than the entire DCEU but you haven't told us how it is a better movie than Wonder Woman. undecided

I can't say the same for MCU fanboys..

In the midst of all this arguments....

I saw captain marvel this weekend...
Let me be completely honest it was so underwhelming
.... Some parts of it we're ok but for the most part it was kinda annoying.... Went with a friend, it was late, she was struggling to stay awake, same person that totally loved Alita.

The movie was Bland, the villain was meh, I've seen better action sequences.. the story was not compelling enough, the cinematography was basic....

It just didn't feel grand or Cinematic... Say what you want about Aquaman but you'll admit it felt and looked Cinematic something worth seeing on the big screen and not on my laptop...Same with Alita it was a Cinematic thrill....

I did like somethings..
- The Score
- Sam Jackson
- Post credit scene
- Brie Larson was not half bad... She actually gave a good performance
- The editing was also great...(people don't talk about this enough, this was my problem with BvS)
- Jude law

Captain Marvel...6/10 I'll see the sequel. But not opening weekend or maybe not at all in cinemas.

I know I said I'll skip this movie, but my friend wanted to go... And now feel robbed...

Please Kevin Fiege, don't let CM lead the MCu going forward if you want a female then Natasha is well able... Personally I'll like Holland or Boseman.. undecided

P.S I don't get why everyone loved the cat
Captain Marvel may be underwhelming for you but according to marvel fanboys.. Quality doesn't matter, if a movie is making money at the box office then it is a great movie.

Gustav25 no be so.. huh

I have to agree totally with JeromeBlack on this one. Movie was drab. Now I know Brie won that Oscar not for her range but for her preparation for the role. She was too static. And wakanda fück way for Nick Fury to lose his "you know". They better not turn around and make it like Carol is going to save the day in Endgame, if not ehn.

DC likely to get a replacement for flash unless Ezra impresses them
Ezra Miller is a not a fan of the light and fun tone that WB wants to use in Flash movie.
He prefers a darker and serious film and his contract with DC expires this year hence the rumours that WB will kick him out like they did Ben Affleck.

I don't want a light and fun Flash movie
I don't want a Flash movie with the same tone as Aquaman and Shazam.
Sure it doesn't have to be dark like BVS and MOS but I like to see the balanced and serious tone they used in Wonder Woman.

Heck even Flash TV series has used a darker and serious theme and it worked.

My fear is that the Flash movie directors (the same guys that wrote Spiderman Homecoming) want to turn Flash movie into a Homecoming kind of film.

P. S.. I hate Spiderman Homecoming.

I hope WB dumps this light and fun script and do something more serious.

Not every movie has to be like AQM and Shazam to be successful.

Rumors of WB recasting Ezra Miller are just rumours.
His contract expires this year so all that talk of recasting him are just speculations.

Apparently you are the one who doesn't understand the basics. I took you to the basics but you are trying to lump it together for credibility. You seem to know that the atheistic basic does not have a foot to stand on. Your grouse is against the creation account, and that's the basic point I'm dealing with. You believe that you were not created but evolved. So bring it to what it boils down to, not to adaptability which nobody disagrees with.
Someone that tried to separate adaptability and mutation from evolution is claiming he knows the basics grin grin

Image123
You're not evolving fa, you're only adapting or mutating which is normal and even biblically observable. I asked if you have continued to evolve from being a human being, like your theory of evolving from chimpanzee to human beings.

Plz stop.
Just stop.

You keep disgracing yourself and sounding dumb.

Who told you that humans were once chimpanzees shocked

Who told you that humans evolved from chimpanzees shocked

Humans did not evolve from chimpanzee.
Humans and chimpanzees share a common ancestor and therefore classified under the same family called 'primates'.

Same way lions, leopards and ordinary cats you see share the same ancestor and are grouped under the same cat family.

Same way wolves, hyenas and dogs share the same ancestor and are grouped under the same dog family.

Not knowing this and asking me how humans evolved from chimpanzees is proof that you posses ZERO knowledge of evolution.

Your question is one of the most stupid questions anyone can ask concerning a science topic like evolution.

Because nobody ever made that claim.
NOBODY ever said humans evolved from chimpanzees.
NOBODY at all.

So I don't know where you got that from.

This is one the misconceptions spread by religious people trying to discredit evolution.

Like I said before...
Please stick to biblical fairy tales and leave evolution for people that actually understand the basics.

I have met some christians who can argue intelligently over evolution....you are not one of them.

It would be dumb of me to ask you to provide evidence that your fourth generation ascendant slapped somebody, wouldn't it? Because that's what you want me to do. Oh that, nothing to be satirical about there. I'm not interested in satires but facts. Or maybe God is playing imagery for you?
The Genesis 3 account is not unproven as we see its effects reverberating till tomorrow. What more proof do you need of a fallen world the account talks of? Unlike evolution that we only see in film and modelling. Have you started evolving from human being?
Human evolution hasn’t stopped.

Humans still evolve.

Let me explain...

Evolution is a gradual change to the DNA of a species over many generations.
It can occur by natural selection, when certain traits created by genetic mutations help an organism survive or reproduce.
Such mutations are thus more likely to be passed on to the next generation, so they increase in frequency in a population.
Gradually, these mutations and their associated traits become more common among the whole group.

By looking at global studies of our DNA, we can see evidence that natural selection has recently made changes and continues to do so.
Though modern healthcare frees us from many causes of death, in countries without access to good healthcare, populations are continuing to evolve.
Survivors of infectious disease outbreaks drive natural selection by giving their genetic resistance to offspring. Our DNA shows evidence for recent selection for resistance of killer diseases like Lassa fever and malaria. Selection in response to malaria is still ongoing in regions where the disease remains common.

Humans are also adapting to their environment. Mutations allowing humans to live at high altitudes have become more common in populations in Tibet, Ethiopia, and the Andes.
The spread of genetic mutations in Tibet is possibly the fastest evolutionary change in humans, occurring over the last 3,000 years. This rapid surge in frequency of a mutated gene that increases blood oxygen content gives locals a survival advantage in higher altitudes, resulting in more surviving children.

Human evolution is still happening and there are evidences to back it up.

What evidence do you have to prove that there was a garden where a talking serpent deceived a woman to eat a forbidden fruit undecided

Oh right the Bible says so.. undecided

Scientists dont make balderdash statements like "a certain book says so"...

They do analysis, extensive research, investigation, conduct experiments before coming to any conclusion.
