therealakuko:
Tithing is supported by Jesus Christ himself. Refer to Matt 23: 23 of the Bible. There is no cherry picking here.

Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

in other words... Jesus was telling the Pharisees and scribes that while they ought to pay their tithe, (which isn't just limited to their income alone but to other possessions of theirs even those as insignificant as spices such as mint and cummin) they also ought to take into consideration more important matters of Law such as judgement, mercy and faith... In other words, there is no cherry picking. You ought not to leave one undone at the expense of the other. You ought to do both. GRACIAS...
Jesus was born in days of law of Moses.
When people practiced Judaism not Christianity.

Don't mix Judaism with Christianity.

Those Pharisees are clearly practicing judaists not Christians.

How did Jesus asking the Pharisees to obey their Judaism laws become a universal commandment for all Christians undecided

According to law of Moses, tithe is to be paid to Levites not pastors.

Pastors are not Levites.

Deuteronomy 26:12-13

"When you have finished paying all the tithe of your increase in the third year, the year of tithing, then you shall give it to the Levite, to the stranger, to the orphan and to the widow, that they may eat in your towns and be satisfied. "You shall say before the LORD your God, 'I have removed the sacred portion from my house, and also have given it to the Levite and the alien, the orphan and the widow, according to all Your commandments which You have commanded me; I have not transgressed or forgotten any of Your commandments.
Celebrities › Re: Daddy Freeze Supports Man Who Raped 16 Year-Old-Girl,Wants To Marry Her In Delta by BlackManta(m): 2:48pm On Apr 12, 2019
Daddy Freeze is right.

A man trying to to marry a girl he raped is supported by the Bible.
It is written in the Bible.

Deuteronomy 22:28-29 which reads:

If a man encounters a young woman, a virgin who is not engaged, takes hold of her and rapes her, and they are discovered, the man who raped her must give the young woman’s father 50 silver shekels, and she must become his wife because he violated her. He cannot divorce her as long as he lives.

People will argue that it is an Old Testament commandment bla bla bla.. undecided

But why do Christians shun this particular Old Testament commandment that supports a rapist marrying his victim but applaud and encourage tithes and first fruits which is also an Old Testament commandment undecided

Christians only cherry pick the commandments in Old Testament that suits the appetite of their pastors.

If Old Testament is outdated and law of Moses is no longer valid in Christianity, then pastors must stop collecting tithes and first fruits as well undecided

Chelsea fans are the most abusive and racist bunch of fans in England.
From the racist chants at Raheem Sterling and now this.

I'm not surprised tho...

Chelsea fans racially abused a woman this year and tried to rape her too.

Useless people.

I spit on Chelsea fans and their ugly heads angry

It's a shame that he cannot win a trophy with an Argentina team busting with big name players.

As for Portugal, the only big name player apart from Ronaldo is Bernardo Silva and yet Ronaldo won Euro with mostly average unknown players.

Players are remembered mostly for what they did with the senior team at international level.
Even the number of games are recorded.

Nobody spends time counting apps for Under-20 and U-17 or junior team trophies that even our own Nigeria boys won.

Senior level is the major deciding factor for a glorious international career.

TV/Movies › Re: DC EXTENDED UNIVERSE (FILM) by BlackManta(m): 2:19am On Apr 09, 2019
There is a good reason why a movie like Shazam 2 is already in development at Warner Bros.

Children are the main casts of Shazam and these children are growing.
Asher Angel is 16 and he is playing a 14 year old, surely WB would not delay Shazam 2 until Asher turns 18 or 19.
That would be a disaster because in the next Shazam movie Billy would be, at most, 15 and Asher should still look that age.

Darla the little girl is also growing.
Jack Grazer and the little Asian boy are growing up.
As time goes by, their real age will start showing on their face.... Not just the face but the height.
Darla will definitely get taller and WB won't sit around delaying a sequel.

So having a 4 years gap between the first movie and a sequel is a terrible idea.
A 3 years gap is also bad.

Because Shazam casts is mainly children.

Shazam 2 will likely come out in winter 2021.
WB would never allow more than a 2 year gap between the first movie and a sequel.

Finished watching Shazam at the cinemas and menh it was so good...

Definitely not a children's movie (below 13 years should not watch biko) as they have horror in it.

I am happy with the way DC is going, although I doubt if non English speaking countries will fully understand the humour.

Overall, 8.5/10

That scene in the school cafeteria where those boys left Freddie alone at the table cuz no one wants wants to associate with him and then his foster siblings joined him at the table.

It was beautiful, I was just smiling.

The family vibe in Shazam is very strong.

Ben "fat batman" Affleck?

How is he better than Christian Bale?

Bale looked more athletic. Was better at brooding. Looks more like a billionaire playboy. Had a better distorted bat voice.

Please, stop this nonsense. Bale is ten times the actor Ben Affleck is.

See American Psycho, Equilibrium etc and then compare them with any of Affleck's best movies.

Nonsense
Christian Bale should find a cure for his throat cancer first before anyone should compare him to Ben Affleck's Batman. undecided

And he won an Oscar for best supporting actor at the age of 29.

Heath Ledger was busting with potentials after he blew everyone away with his Joker.
