Its just sad that this government keeps on reacting. We are not talking about a small band of lets say 10,50 or 100 fully armed men but thousands of bandits roaming about in the forests kidnapping, killing, raping and stealing. Its s matter of national emergency. And the shameful romance of some governors with these bandits, dialoging with them and negotiating ransom should be thoroughly investigated and punitive action taken against those found wanting to serve as warning for others. I may disagree with Gov. Elrufai on some other issues but on his stance of No negotiation with bandits, I stand with him 100%. Leaders have to realize that we are dealing with something that when it matures will be far worse than BH. |
How many states have now been overun by bandits? (╯︵╰,) |
Why is this man so caustic? In other news ....... what is wrong with Nairaland. How can I be waiting endlessly for a page to load? \(〇_o)/ |
Is this news? Who doesn't know. |
Kidnappers feel everyone is against them. Ritualist feels everyone is against them. Armed robbers feel every one is against them. Child molesters feel everyone is against them. See how this man reasons. |
Imagine if let's say Apostle Suleiman visited Esn and said it was the Muslim Soldiers that were attacking them...... wouldn't they have accused him of being a sponsor of Esn? |
Fish Palmoil Crayfish Yam Coco yam Cassava Pepper All sorts of vegetable leaf(ugu, oha, ukazi etc) Local rice Just to name some types of food abundant in the south. |
Sorry for your loss but you should have ordered through the official channel. Jumia website or app. The phone is N70k you initially paid N50k. Jumia doesn't do pay advance and the balance later, you pay 100%. If you are not satisfied with the product you return it and get a 100% refund. It does take time to process a refund. |
Open grazing has been banned. Any cattle you see on your farm should be treated as a pest. They should either ranch their cows or relocate to states which still wants cows to roam indiscriminately. |
PMB doesn't want any criticism from anybody. Which democratic president blocks it's citizens from commenting on thier Twitter handle. |
Where are the kidnappers? Where are the bandits? |
Why is there no state of emergency in Zamfara yet? What is the governor still governing? |
Akpuobi1:The military needs to setup base and training camps in those forests to dislodged the bandits. |
Is the government serious in using the bullets in the first place? And why is Adamu Garba sounding like thier sponsor. |
These ones have cashed out... time to step aside and flex their cash. |
Clap for yourselves? Oya let the negotiations start. Same plot Rinse and repeat. kidnap - negotiate - cash out - repent - enjoy loot + amnesty |

Charity begins at home.....link Lagos Abuja PH first. |
They really came to the limelight when they served as ministers. Adesina was an Agric Minister par excellence Okonjo Iweala is an economic juggernaut. They were selected based on thier expertise, not due to nepotism, tribalism or politics as is the case now |
Yes na, even when armed robbers attack they explain that they don't want to rob but because of no work that is why they engage in crime. And they only kill by mistake. Shiorrrrrr...... |

tuboi:Wouldn't it be better if the missionary schools stop admitting non adherents to thier Faith ab initio to thier schools, rather than admitting them knowing full well that they don't practice such religion then forcing them to do so? |
shadeyinka:That's stretching it a bit far.....are they building mosque in the school? Rather than force them to remove thier Hijabs why not organize a meeting with thier parents and work out a compromise. |
shadeyinka:Where I stay there are schools owned by Muslims, and Christians attend too. The Christian kids are not compelled to wear Hijabs. |
Why force children to take off Hijab it's wrong, very wrong. |
The dogs and the baboons are soaked in blood. |
sonofthunder:Can you imagine? |
They want to add more twist to the plot... It was so predictable. |
The government should stop negotiating from a point of weakness. Some scapegoats have to be made. Why give amnesty to terrorist? That camp should be heaviy surrounded and no single bandit should be allowed to get out free. Ultimatum should be given release the captives or face the consequences. And follow through eliminate them all Another group will think twice before repeating such. Once bandits realize that the government would rather kill them than pay 1Naira for ranson all these nonsense will stop. |
Act 2 Scene 2 |
They are now admitting that the bandits are Fulani herdsmen |
It was said that a serving governor was the main sponsor of Boko Haram do we need more proof. |
