We said it over a million times, the only reason Jonathan is relevant is for the political office he occupies. Jonathan isn't a politician, he isn't a leader, he's not respected, he's only feared.

In 24hrs time, not even in his local government would he be consulted if major decisions are to be taken. He'd be relegated to attending burial and wedding ceremonies as chairman of occasion.

Jonathan is dead politically.
Are you the Omenka who ran away after Abacha regime? grin grin

cococandy:
Ok So would you confess to your wife how many times you have patronized prostitutes or told your ex to have an abortion because you weren't ready to be a father? That just serves no purpose.

As far as I'm concerned, there are no worthy tales as such except if you have cause to believe you're infertile or have a health problem that can affect your marriage. If you knew about it before marriage, then definitely tell or else the marriage is null and void.

But if there's no such dangers and you're just blabbing because you want to offload your guilt on another person and put them in a tight corner, there's no need for that.

The old me is the kind of girl that would probably confess all because I have this nagging voice in my head whenever I'm in love that makes me want it to be as pure as possible. And to me that meant confessing all no matter how minute because I thought it would help.

But Maturity has taken over. Now I know such things don't pay. Serves no purpose. Doesn't make the relationship better and worse of all hurts the man you love.

If I did it before I met you, if it has no way of affecting our health or childbearing possibilities, if it won't come back to be in your face (eg things like dating your husband's old friend can come back in your face. So that I'd tell him.)

if it is not any of those,it belongs in the past. I'll leave it there. Ces't finis.
You make a lot of sense.

cococandy:
if you guys want to stop being in deep soup, zip your pants.
Your penisses contribute to ashawo business and is the main reason why abortion takes place.

You have part of the blame too.
I think we should try to stick to the topic here.

The topic is about coming clean to your spouse about the things you've done in the past that can affect your long term relationship. If a lady is going to hide an abortion and involvement in prostitution as "worthless tales", I really want to know what counts as worthy tales in your books.

Whether you will use it against her or not is not the issue
The main issue is,what purpose will those details serve in the first place?
Nothing
So why share all of those?
I will tell u what purpose it serves. It gives him the option to quit the relationship or stick with you pimples and all. I think that's better than conning each other into a relationship.
FamilyRe: Things Your Fiancé/ husband Is Better Off Not Knowing. by BlackOnassis(m): 6:29pm On May 28, 2015
babyosisi:
Exactly
Especially if you know he will use it against you,you don't need to tell him about every man that has poked you
Unnecessary detail
If you worked as a hooker( ashawo) and has turned a new leaf, you are free to keep that detail to yourself
It's not necessary to share all that worthless tale in order to appear honest
Old things are passed away, leave them that way
He isn't telling you all of his so you need to keep yours too
Don't show out yourself in a terrible light and destroy your reputation by blabbing about details of your past, destroying yourself with your own mouth.
If you had 5 abortions ,must you talk about them with your man?
What for?
Has he told you how many abortions he sponsored?
O ho
So why the details
Ashawo and abortions are "worthless tales"? OMG! lipsrsealed lipsrsealed shocked shocked shocked

Guys, are you listening? We are in deep soup cry embarassed angry

Yep.
WebmastersRe: Why Do Nigerians Hate Commenting On Tech Blogs? by BlackOnassis(m): 6:20pm On May 28, 2015
Afam4eva:
The average IQ quotient of a Nigerian is low and that's why they're not given to overly technical stuff. But if everyday gossip and beer parlor political discussions, they will sit down, open their dirty yansh and talk. That's why the politics section has been taken over by little noisy children who think politics is a shouting match. No wonder most of the sane and articulate contributors have left the seen. As for technology, things will only get better when the Nigerian educational system looks up. You tech bloggers aint doing anything wrong. Nigerians aren't just there yet.
C'mon man. Don't say the average IQ of a Nigerian is low. If that's the case, then there is really no hope. But I doubt that's the case. Like you said, we just aren't there yet . . . but we can get there.
WebmastersRe: Why Do Nigerians Hate Commenting On Tech Blogs? by BlackOnassis(m): 6:10pm On May 28, 2015
Unfortunately, Nigerians aren't tech savvy. We love to use those gadgets but aren't really interested in what makes them tick. We still see technology as something foreign and imported. So, it is difficult for us to feel we can contribute something meaningful. We've got to get out of this "rot" and "own" technology as producers, not consumers. I think the education system should do the heavy lifting and things will fall in place.

One of our lovely brothers has been drinking from the scam fountain again and you seem to reserve most of the scorn on a naïve 20 something shop worker. As much as I agree that she was foolish to go off with a stranger like that (could have ended up being murdered), Devon is a rural county where there is hardly any crime, you can still buy local produce and leave the money in an 'honesty box' so she probably never heard of marriage scams.
I agree with you. The girl is just human and trusting. I hope she recovers from this and finds happiness.

Typical Yoruba man...poking into Niger Delta states big allocations. Thank your God that our resource is feeding you and your people when you people are contributing nothing.

Chart below shows distribution by producing states; 80% and 20% from most to least! Ondo is the least! Ingrates!
It would be prudent to feed yourselves first before feeding others. With the enormous allocation, Niger Delta states are full of malnourished people yet you claim to feed others. Where in your history books did you read that Yoruba were starving before oil was discovered?

RomanceRe: He Is Yoruba But Wants To Marry An Igbo Lady: Please Advise Him by BlackOnassis(m): 11:58pm On May 20, 2015
PreciousBro:
Well, as much as I don't like inter-marriage,we have to accept that things are/and have changed. Its no longer a thing of pride to stay loyal to your kins men, Nigerian women are all looking for husbands and they'd take anyone that comes now.

I'd always advise that people should marry from their tribe or at most, their region and neighbouring ethnicity for better cultural and traditional understanding.

Quality is a thing that cannot stay hidden and for some reason Igbo girls seem to be at the mention of most wanted marital-wise.

To me, Igbo guys have taste ,its no wonder they hardly look outside their region and hence tribe, because they see that the quality lies within, why look else where, Yoruba guys seem to be at the rising of every ethnicity because they accept anything and anyone grin

I hate to say this but, I don't like igbo girls marrying non-igbo. {{{Quality Depletion}}}

Tribal Disloyalty ,un patriotism and carelessness to marital justice are what this Igbos marrying non -igbos are to me.

F•ck you if you think I'm sentimental and bigoted. We all are in this f^cked up corpse of a country we all drive fictitious preach for unity and oneness . We are not one, we are not the same. Deal with it and stick to your moderf•cking tribe.
You are just in denial. Alpha males get all the women from Badagry to Moscow to Afghanistan. Lesser males pick the lowest hanging fruit from their backyard. Let that marinate in your skull. grin
