[[s]quote author=shikshark post=55430147]9/11 is the greatest conspiracy ever was in the history of U.S, mavin bush (president's brother) was then the owner of the security outfit protecting the twin towers, explosions were heard at the basement on the day of the so called terrorist attack, there are several withnesses that claimed they heard explosions and they all died similar deaths. (suicide) rumour has it that the builders of the twin towers discovers it might not outlast its presumed lifespan but the insurance company will be on the losing end. invariably the CEO of the insurance conpany is a friend of mavin bush and thats why explosives could be sneaked into the building unchecked and unchallenged. The idea is this, the twin building was not insured against terrorist attack and the best is to bring it down, claim terrorism and the insurance company fold its hands. Fortunately, it worked but too many lives were lost. if you noticed, the two towers were attacked from the sides, and both collapsed like an implosion, there is not enough jet fuel that could weaken the building infractructure if not supported with an explosive. pentagon was just a distraction, they had it all planned. finally, osama bin laden will be flexing in cuba by now with new identity and new face.
[/s]
This is nothing but bullocks! Conspiracy theories with no iota of truth or fact. It's sounds extremely ridiculous
There is no way any American president or politician will kill 3000 for insurance money. Makes no sense! And no, Osama Bin Laden is dead as a doornail |

No. We need thinkers, and degrees are the best and only methods of determining who the best thinkers are. Unless you have another method instead of throwing around good sounding words like "creativity" and "out of the box". What does that even mean, and how is it measured? It can't be measured so it's irrelevant to even mention.
How can a non graduate, compare to someone who spent 7 years of his/her life asking and answering questions on a university level on the way to a PhD or other degrees. You realize that learning about politics, Philosophy, social sciences, and all other parts of life are ALL part of the journey of classes on the way to a graduate degree right?
I'm not saying graduates are perfect. I'm saying electing graduates is the best way to eliminate a large portion of the ineptness seen in a non graduate candidate like Buhari.
[/s]
Many of the greatest people in this world either never went to school or are simply drop outs. With your 7 years u spent in school, you cannot even be assured of a job let alone become president of the country. Why? Because school is not a true test of intelligence. Many sleep, cheat, block or cram their way through school. Often times the best student in class is not the most intelligence, but who can give the lecturer exactly what he gave him back.
Knowledge does not equate to wisdom or intelligence, and certainly doesn't make up for a morally bankrupt, greedy and self-centered disposition. All the looters and convicted felons in Nigeria all went to school. |

[s] TheStronghold: Nigerians, we can only blame ourselves for our hardships. Nigeria is a democracy, not a dictatorship or monarchy. So when we find ourselves in a recession, we can only blame ourselves. Why? Because we elected an absolutely inept, uneducated, military head, as the head of a country in the 21st century. The time has long expired for military heads to be presidents, in this 21st century. And we're now seeing exactly why that is. Buhari doesn't understand economics, he doesn't understand development, he hasn't studied law on a university or doctoral level, he isn't anything close to being a scientist or analytically minded, he brings absolutely nothing valuable to the table. And we elected him as president. All of this can be said of Goodluck Jonathan as well. Were truly idiots.
The former president of the USA Obama received degrees from Columbia and Harvard, two of the best universities in the world. The prime Chancellor of Germany studied Physics in undergraduate, and has a PhD in Quantum Mechanics. Even Trump received a degree from arguably the best business university in the world, Wharton. Buhari, a military general, and a man who is clearly out of his league intellectually compared to other world leaders.
So never again, this cannot happen. We must learn our lesson by 2023 and promote intelligent, experienced leaders as a presidential candidates. I have made a list, but first I will state the criteria for my list.
1. You must have an undergraduate AND a graduate degree (PhD or Masters.) to qualify as president.
2. You must have a minimum of 8 years of experience in governing or jobs related to government.
3. You obviously have to be Nigerian and qualified to run for president.
The goal of this is to bring our BEST AND BRIGHTEST forward, Buhari is not our best, and no where close to being our brightest. Now with that being said, here are my proposing candidates for president in 2023, in no particular order.
Ogbonnayu Onu https://i1.wp.com/media.premiumtimesng.com/wp-content/files/2015/10/12065773_906143016107708_3878860459248120877_n.jpg?fit=800%2C534
Ogbonnaya Onu (born 1 December 1951) is presently the Minister of Science and Technology of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. He was the first Executive Governor of Abia State, Nigeria from February 1992 to December 1993.[1] He was the National Chairman of the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP).,[2] until its merger with other Nigerian opposition political parties which resulted in the registration of the All Progressives Congress on July 31, 2013.
By 1976, he graduated with a First Class Honours Degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Lagos. He later obtained his Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Chemical Engineering (without passing through a master's degree) at the reputable University of California, Berkeley, California, USA, in 1980, where he did extensive work on coal liquefaction and production of synthetic fuels under mild conditions. He showed that it was possible under relatively mild conditions to produce synthetic fuels comparable with crude oil.
While in the University of California, Berkeley, Dr. Onu was the President of the African Students Union; Member, Graduate Assembly of the University of California, Berkeley and also the President of the Nigerian Association of Northern California, Inc. At a time when many Nigerians who studied in the United States of America found it difficult to return home, Dr. Onu, out of love of country returned to his fatherland and took up appointment as a Lecturer at the University of Port – Harcourt, Choba, Rivers State. He later served as President General of his alma-mater, Izzi High School, Abakaliki, Old Boys Association.

Ambode was awarded the US Fulbright Scholarship for the Hubert Humphries Fellowship Programme in Boston Massachusetts. He also attended the Wharton Business School, for Advanced Management Programme. In his six years as the Lagos State accountant general, the state’s financial performance improved visibly with the budget performing at a remarkable average of 85% annually

Akinwumi Adesina

Adesina was born to a Nigerian farmer in Ogun State.[4] He received a bachelor's degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Ife (Obafemi Awolowo University) and a PhD in Agricultural Economics from Purdue University (1988).
Akinwumi Adesina is the President of the African Development Bank. He previously served as Nigeria's Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development. From 1999 to 2003 he was the representative of the Foundation for the southern African area. From 2003 until 2008 to the present he was an associate director for food security. Adesina was the Nigerian Agriculture Minister from 2010 to 2015. During this time the Permanent Secretary at the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development was Ibukun Odusote. Adesina was named as Forbes African Man of the Year for his reform of Nigerian agriculture.
As you can see, Nigerians have PLENTY of capable, intelligent people to lead this country forward. I don't hate, or love Buhari, but there is no way we can allow a person like him to become the president of Nigeria ever again.
What are your suggestions for president in 2023 (or 2019)? Comment below, but remember, don't bring any dummy to lead Nigeria into the ground. [/s] Sorry but u are one of Nigeria major problem. This worship and slavery to degree certificate has no bearing with good leadership. We had a supposed Ph. D holder who ended up running the country to the ground. What we need is people who can think outside the box and who are creative. Buhari might not have been the best man for the job but he was definitely the better of the two candidates. And in his own way, he is trying. There is no magic button to fix Nigeria. |

[s] bnovative: Justice Ademola of the federal High court has just been discharged and acquitted of corruption charges brought against him by the Buhari-led government. Recall that the government had arrested and charged him to court with so much fanfare. But now, the court has decided what we have always known -that the government has no case against him at all. They were just doing their usual fanfare to cajole the gullible into believing that Buhari is fighting corruption. The court ended the case at the 'no case' level. What this means is that having seen what the prosecution presented as evidence, the court did not even bother to call on the accused to open his defense. There was no need for the accused to lead evidence. The evidence presented by prosecution showed that 'no case' was made out against the accused. The prosecution did not show anything that would warrant the court to ask the accused to open his defence. There is no prima facie case ,as we say it. The court specifically held that the federal government's case was based on suspicion and the need to show that they are fighting corruption. Nothing else. Courts dont convict based on suspicion,no matter how strong. What of all those, including some lawyers, who wanted Justice Ademola to resign as a result of government's accusation? What can they say now? If he had left his job ,What would have happened now that he has been proven innocent by a court of competent jurisdiction? I dont know of justice Ademola. If I was in his shoes there is no way I would not sue this idiotic government for malicious prosecution. Not all cases that ends at 'no case' shows malicious prosecution. But this one shows it. You don't charge someone ,whose job depends so much on reputation ,to court based on mere suspicion of corruption. You must have some serious evidence. Buhari is merely using Efcc and other agencies to target his political enemies and judges who are not 'friendly' . [/s] Wait till d prosecution appeals I know you don't like Buhari. You prefer to support corruption, you that is a serial applicant. Smh |
