See how they are all roaming about like sheep without shepherds while a very important and sensitive issue is being addressed. This shows you how unserious these people are in running the affairs of this country. All of you who voted these political delinquents into office will suffer for your actions. 3 Likes 1 Share |

tunjijones: "Cleaner energy source" you way, this is what they use to deceive the gullables. You have plenty of coal and hydro energy to generate power and be self sufficient but someone who doesn't have any of these is asking you to abandon them and use his "clean energy" and you say it's the way to go? Have you thought about the impact this will have on Nigeria's economy? This clean energy they are talking about is nuclear energy, how many scientist do you have in Nigeria to generate nuclear energy? Do you have uranium in Nigeria to create nuclear energy? If you don't know, Nigeria is considered a terrorist state like Iran and co, do you think the west will allow Nigerian to have a nuclear plant? Think, think, think... |

A country that feeds on oil products is buying electric vehicles (It barely produces 12,522 MW of electricity). I promise you, these electric cars will be the death of Nigeria's economy. The non-oil-producing countries are looking for alternative energy so they can stop depending on oil which will have a massive impact on our economy. Other oil-producing countries like Saudi Arabia and Qatar have seen this and are now diversifying their economy by building various tourist destinations and other sources of income, while Nigeria is swimming in a pool of foreign debt. If you are wise, you will know that the import of electric vehicles in Nigeria is a f00lish move. 10 Likes 1 Share |

omoharry: Good suggestion but motorbikes are disastrous for public transport. How did our parents commute in their days, certainly not with Okada and Keke. |

For Lagos/Nigeria to be great, tough decisions has to be taken. Unfortunately, this has to be one of them. We always blame government but we are equally part of the problems in this country. They can riot all they like, the ban STANDS. Modified: To those raining insult at me for my humble opinion, please be reminded that Jesus Christ also drove people away from the temple when they almost turn it to a business center [John 2:15]. Because things are convenient does not always make them right. 47 Likes 1 Share |

Employing a “President” We need to start thinking of moving away from Elections (especially in Africa) and start thinking of employing leaders to run the country. The process of recycling politicians is simply a try and error approach that has never yielded profit. Forget about pride, tribe, nationality, religion or population, if we employ a world class proven entrepreneur to run our country, it will blossom in few years. Africa has one of the most untapped resources in the world, I will say it as is “we are wealthy” and can afford to employ top world entrepreneurs to transform these resources into wealth. Advantages of employing a “President”: • No strings attached, you can FIRE him/her any time if they don’t perform (No need of waiting 8 miserable years) • Everyone will be treated equally (All tribes, all region and religion) • Our judicial system will be strengthen • World class medical facilities and world class doctors will be employed • Quality education system • Tourism and other sectors will blossom. Guys, what do you think? 1 Like 2 Shares |

Once you can show proof of income and your tax record is up-to-date, then your money remains yours. The question is; who has proof of income and valid tax clearance and doesn't have a visa...? 44 Likes |

Ineptocracy (in-ep-toc’-ra-cy) - a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers. This is what we have in Nigeria today, the less productive determines who rules the productive. |
