I am with Arlington on this. I have been a silent reader for months and have felt everyone's pains as if they were mine. But now it has changed to question and answer session. Why don't u open a separate thread on fertility issues. |
Cheap way of getting popularity. The song on is no for sell. They need a killer tune not this. If they are willing to humble themselves, they could learn from Tu face, Dbanj, etc. Apart from VIP or is it VI3 (that Kennis music made popular), do they have other popular artistes (popular in Africa at least not local champions)? |
This is serious. I have never heard of such before. ![]() |
Please do something about this Genovio that is taking over the board. Only him has 5 pages. Pls. |
Like seriously? How can u spam the board so much that all other posts are lost? Can the moderator delete his useless threads and hand him a substantial ban? How do u register in one day and post all your 71 posts in one board? https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria?action=profile;u=739267 |
Still waiting for it. @ Spyder, we did but everything looked so beautiful. I have no knowledge of building so i didnt realise it was substandard. We didnt sign any lawyers agreement and even if we did and i wont honor it. Let them take me to court (which would be cheaper for them) . ![]() I think landlords owe a duty of care to at least put in place fittings that are usable and not cheap. |
blink182:You again? ![]() |
Why has it spread to Liverpool? My family is there and i am meant to go back next week. God keep them safe. |
What is with the fake eyebrow? |
It is confirmed. An icon has gone just like that. GODDDDDDDD!!! Please. |
U guys don't seem to understand. The bridge bank is a 3 yr project at the end of which they either get a buyer or they liquidate the bank. U guys are still talking of All States etc that were taken over by other banks and not govt. When a government nationalises anything, have you ever heard of them paying shareholders? Please, read up on Economics or just google "what does nationalisation mean". This is a form of nationalization called expropriation. No hope. |
Worthless pieces of paper. The paper is even more valuable than the shares itself. Before NSE put a halt on trading, the value had crashed to N4.97. Go and buy fullscap paper from the mallams and see how much they will charge u. Continue to wait for NDIC to pay u. They have not finished thinking of how they will pay the depositors billions of deposits, its an investor they will now pay. U took a gamble and a risk and it didn't pay off. The bank is now owned by FGN. Nothing for u. |
PLEASE RUN AND GET YOUR MONEY!!!!!! I don't mean to shout but go sharp sharp. The bridge bank is just for 3 years before they either sell the banks off or they liquidate the banks. They are even offering staff 3months severance pay if they choose to leave now. The reason they did a bridge bank is so that people will not come all at once for their money and then they can not pay. They are trying to do it in phases. U now have enough time to withdraw ur money. Since they mentioned it, i have been withdrawing my money through atm. Now, i am totally drawn down. Sanusi's arrows shall not come near me. |
Are they also fighting police? Saw a policeman witha bloodied eye. This is serious. |
INEC to de-register political parties – Jega By Dapo Akinrefon LAGOS — CHAIRMAN of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Prof. Attahiru Jega, said, yesterday, the commission would commence de-registration of political parties that failed to secure a seat during the just conducted 2011 general elections. The process, according to him, will commence immediately the pending cases at the tribunal are concluded. Jega said: “The Electoral Act has provided for INEC to de-register any political party that did not win any seat. We will do it at the right time, there is a lot of litigations in the tribunal. But by the time we say a party has been deregistered, it will be a solid ground that cannot be faulted.” Jega said these at a lecture with the theme: ‘Nigeria’s 2011 General Elections: The international dimensions and challenges’, organised by the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs, NIIA, in Lagos. He said the commission had stopped funding political parties owing to the removal of the legal framework that existed before now. Said he: “INEC is also having challenges from the 63 political parties. They wanted funding from INEC, there was a legal frame work for it in the past; they have been receiving funding in the past and now the legal frame work has been removed. We have refused to fund them and this is creating problems for us.” He also said the commission was in the process of getting new techniques from the international community, which will aid in the success of subsequent elections in Nigeria. He said: “We have got a system which will help us in future elections. I want you to know that the software used by INEC was developed by some brilliant Nigerians and this software was done for free.” The INEC chairman, however, berated those calling for the scrapping of the National Youth Service Corps scheme, saying: “What can be done is to reform and remodify the scheme because it promotes national integration.” Speaking further, he attributed electoral reforms to the success of the conduct of the 2011 general elections in Nigeria. He also identified three dominant perspectives of modernization, globalization and class struggles which affects the country’s electoral process, noting that “the complex interaction between domestic politics and foreign policy is one that has been long recognized. There is no doubt that elections loom large in our domestic politics and there have implications for Nigeria’s foreign policy,” While identifying factors that almost marred the conduct of the recent poll, he said the commission remodified new innovations especially the Open Secret ballot system to achieve its aim. He, however, stated that the commission is committed to adapting “global principles” to improve on previously conducted elections in the country. “The formidable challenge remaining to be addressed is how to continue to bring further improvements to the electoral process and prevent to the old order of chaotic, undemocratic and violent elections, with the attendant negative consequences of authoritarian bad governance, instead of desirable good, democratic governance,” he stated. Contiuning, he said “these three dominant perspectives have helped us to understand and explain the international dimensions and challenges of elections, there is in my view a new burgeoning perspective, which provides an even clearer focus and explanation what catalyzes positive democratic transitions and elections, in contemporary world.” Speaking earlier, chairman of the event, Prince Adelusi stressed the need for voter education to prevent a reoccurrence of post election violence. He said, “it is important to have voters’ education, we need to have a peoples’ army that can cause things to happen.” |
This law got me laughing. Fashola signs law against abandonment of pregnant women By Olasunkanmi Akoni LAGOS — Governor Babatunde Fashola of Lagos State, yesterday, signed a bill into law, which allows for the prosecution and jailing of any man who impregnates and deserts any woman. The bill presented to the governor by the state’s Commissioner of Justice and Attorney General, Mr. Ade Ipaye, at Government House, Ikeja, was among three other bills presented for the governor’s assent. Other bills include amendments to provisions of the Emergency Management Agency, EMA, Law and the Administration of Criminal Justice. Fashola, while assenting to the bills, said the various amendments to the laws were needed to tackle the problem of crime and delay in administration of justice in the state. He said the enactment of the laws represented the commitment of the state government to building strong institutions, that could tackle crime and corruption, which had crippled the country. He added that the country needed strong legislation to fight corruption and moral laxity. Fashola explained that the Criminal Code Law, used in the state before now was enacted in 1914 by the colonial masters, saying that such laws and their provisions had since become obsolete and could not address challenges posed by present realities. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2011/08/fashola-signs-law-against-abandonment-of-pregnant-women/ |

My dear, go straight to the police (with a lawyer) and lay a claim of stolen documents as well as wife beating. He has not destroyed the certificate. I am very sure that it is still with him. Even without the marriage certificate, u can still start divorce proceedings but make sure he has police case to answer to make your own case stronger. If you were in Liverpool, there is someone i can refer you to. |
Happy Birthday in arrears. May God bless you and grant you your heart's desires. May His favour continually rest upon you and your family. Cheers. |
@ Poster, when your wife puts to bed, please come back and tell us so that we can thank God with you. I think your wife is the NLander Taryour? I wish u both success and God's favour. |
JK, very nice answer. |
Deleted What more do you want him to do? ![]() |
I don't like Nkwobi at all. Can not stand it. Don't understand why i should eat bones with little meat. But isiewu is another matter. I insisted on eating it even when i was pregnant. I can make it very well. Just chill with it, a glass of cold drink and watch your favourite team. That is pure bliss. |
