Where did i say 1.2M is much?? Show me. By the way, that's for a senior level office not manager... grin Managers earn 1.8-2.0 and above...Find out you'll see

You haven't seen anything. People have been deceived, you will be shocked.
I know someone who left a great job and life in Nigeria and relocated with his family, now he is full of regrets. He can't return cause himself and wife resigned from jobs people are wishing for. Funny thing they are being fed now by relatives cause they aren't working though they are trying to get their documents. Great mistake, and he acknowledges it.
That's just 1 family out of hundreds that have gone and made a success of it. If he needs to upgrade his credentials and skills, he should do so. If he had such pedigree, he should be able to adapt. Menial jobs should be stop gaps and not the mainstay.

See where you missed the argument, what you posted is what I was talking about, student halls, its an ensuit room not a flat or a house.I was saying there is no house or flat built for student rather studnets have halls or Hostels. That guy up there is claiming he lives in a flat that came with just a cooker. In any of these halls you and I posted would any come without white goods?
Ah. Sorry. I skipped some pages.

You really believed that this guy rented a pad at the cost of £800 plus a month with only cooker on it? A student accommodation?
Just giving him the benefit of doubt. Don't know about the price though.

You will struggle to find any student accommodation in the UK where they rent fridge and microwave.
Probably. It's either furnished accommodation or unfurnished. Maybe added perks?

Accommodation is accommodation, there is not difference. There is not specific house built for students, as Hostel houses everyone. I was o nce a student too.

He is probably in student accommodation. Some of these new fangled student buildings offer stuff like that.

I said 5 above.
For a child, the whole house is a playground.

For all you know the child thought the TV had a touch interface and was trying to get at it.

Why should the child know if you haven't sat him down to discuss with him?

Why do you think there are child tough cases for tablets?

Why should the first answer be violence?
I didn't see where you said 5 and above.

There are certain messages that stick well when you follow it with some spanking. The boy was hanging from the TV acting out like superman. He wasn't being curious about it. I would explain and then spank him for being naughty. If you think he doesn't know he is being naughty then you are on a long thing.

He probably caught HPV which is similar to herpes. And some strains become cancerous. Surprising because most men don't show symptoms. They are usually carriers. It's the women they infect that get cancer.

How many companies pay this to GTs? Compared to how many GTs there are in Nigeria.

I also intend to relocate. Not that i live poorly, but the stress level is on overdrive, one could lose one's mind just walking around metropolitan areas like Lagos..The mental condition of many Nigerians are dilapidated due to the problems that surrounds... too much challenges, why won't they relocate? Many times, relocating takes place when they have saved enough funds, and not to seek greener pastures. The climes there are saner.
Exactly my point. He is saying that bank managers earn 1.2m but yet they are willing to damn it all and start life afresh in a sane country.

Do you know what the average bank manager earns atall?

Allow me educate you, seems like you don't..A Masters/PhD bank manager earns atleast 1.2 Million Per Month... You can't compare this with the yankee hustler..
Yet, bank managers are resigning to go and start afresh in UK, Canada, US, Australia.

@ oyb, if it was a 1-2 year old, yes. But that baba should be about 4/5/6. He is old enough to know not to touch the TV even if he hasn't been told. A little spanking will allow the message set very well.

BlueBrothers:
The commission noted that 9Mobile led in the incoming porting table for September with an additional 11,517 customers joining its network. Meanwhile, Airtel came second on the gainers’ list with 2,660 subscribers, adding that 1,928 subscribers moved to MTN, while Globacom got 704 customers.

NCC also reported that Mobile Number Portability (MNP) activities carried out by telecommunications operators decreased from 34,837 in August to 33,514 in September, signifying 1,323 declines.

On a different note, the commission reported that 2,926 customers of 9Mobile ported to other networks within the same period, indicating an increase of 696 from the 3,622 recorded in August.

In Airtel’s case, 4,840 subscribers moved from the network to other networks in the month under review signifying 288 increases compared to 4,552 in August.

For MTN, 4,625 customers moved from the network in September, showing a decrease of 703 subscribers, from the 5,328 that left the service provider in August.

Also, 4,314 subscribers moved from Globacom in September, representing an increase of 613 customers that left the network from a total 3,701 that left in August.
This their data no dey add up. First of all, it is a decrease by 696 for Etisalat not an increase. Total inward porting was 16,809 whilst outward porting was 16,705. Then the total outward porting equals 16,705. How did they get 33,514?

Should they be adding outward and inward porting as separate figures? How can outward and inward not be equal? Can there be incomplete porting? Why not state that as a separate stat? Are they deliberately skewing the stats?

Just a little bored and decided to look at the stats properly.

Not really.

We've got over 4 kids (at different stages of schooling including private education), and we certainly aren't on welfare or receiving any help from the government.

Depends on how often they're used / worn. True a lot of their clothing don't last especially on a medium wash of 40 degrees C. The colours will run. But I discovered you can beat that by washing (mixed colours) at 30 degrees quick, cold wash cheesy

Primark's good for kids as they quickly outgrow their clothes. I did go shoe crazy once but their handbags last a lot longer than their shoes. angry
It's good for kids, I agree. But for an adult that would want to get value for money, it's not worth it. I learnt it the hard way. That thermal wear was the worst. I bought a lot of it and had to rebuy all within a week.

Tony Nwoye is not in that sticky finger league.

By the way, he’s a medical doctor, member of the House of Representatives. At the age of 30, he was already the PDP chairman in the state. He produced governors, national and state Assembly members

He’s having the singular honour of being the governorship candidate of the PDP about four years ago and has won the nomination of the APC to run as its governorship candidate, having defeated all the political heavyweights in the state.
What else do you need to prove that the young man is highly talented....chief Chukwuelue, Anambra pdp chieftain

The next governor of Anambra is Dr Tony Okechukwu Nwoye

Take that to any bank and Cash it
The same Tony Nwoye we went to school with? The guy is a known cultist, thief and liar. Which teaching hospital did he do his clinicals? Medical doctor my foot. If you are Ill, go to the herbalist, Tony, for treatment.

How about this stupid Nokia C2-03.

I can never forget this crap that i bought with my hard earned cash in 2011 or thereabouts.

The screen was too tiny to read. The touchscreen was so difficult to press. The slide flex spoilt within 2 weeks of use. The hanging, the crap, etc.

Got rid of it after 2 months of serious annoyance.
