Reminds me of when I was pregnant with my first son. My bump started showing at 20 weeks. I used to pad it so that people would notice and give me preference. grin

And all those people just stood/Sat to watch and record it.

Obviously in UK or US. The girl is sick, physical looks and mentally.
Nigeria has taught me to leave well alone. What if she had a knife? The girl must be mentally Ill. If I was the mum, I would ask police to take her away and grant a restraining order. She is dead to me

He would've protected his fish pond against intrusions like these instead of killing the poor creature.
How many more snakes will he have to kill? In nature once a wild animal locates a food source it will keep coming back...it doesn't know its causing u demage or not.
Animals will hunt and kill prey to stay alive.
Which is what he has done. It's a kill or be killed world.

Say no to betting and wasting money. Sure games can cast and you have to resort to eating unripe mangoes.

my dear don't be in a haste to believe a story. I live very close to the couple in Ajah. I will not Say anymore here. All I can say is that "He who finds a wife has found a good thing. I mean a Good wife ooo.am out of here
Whether she was a good or a bad wife is not in contention here. She had left him, had moved in with her boyfriend (bad wife as you call her), why did he follow her? Why fight her? Why did he let the devil use him like this? Now that he has jumped bail and run to the US, how will he ever clear his name?

Even from his own story, he agreed he went to look for trouble but that it was the boyfriend that hit her.

Exactly my point, she should have been firm in her decision to leave.

What sort of man breaks his wife's leg because of an argument? angry
She left and even moved on with her life, had a boyfriend. He waited for her in front of her house and saw her with the boyfriend and beat them up.

Women should stop deceiving themselves, if a man is violent to you during courtship run away from him.

Forget Church and any parental advice that says you should endure beatings because of marriage , its suicide.

In the words of the late Whitney Houston : 'Better to be alone than unhappy'.
If you remember her story, she left him but he came after her, to her new house, and beat her up. That was where he broke her leg.

what are you talking about? 1) I didn't even comment on this thread
2) and the guy is Igbo same as me.
So who am I being tribalist against?

Why not read the post you are thinking of again and address the person who posted it?
I guess I don't know why I expected you to be able to read properly before jumping to conclusions.
Just out of the blues on a perfect Sunday morning, someone is quoting me on a thread I didn't comment on, accusing me of being tribalist.
Why didn't you quote the post you are talking about?
Go take your meds please.
You shared this post that i have quoted. I can read very clearly.

@cococandy, I am surprised that you are sharing these tribal sentiments. Don't know why I expected more of you.

Anyway, I believe a lot of people are actual closet tribalists. They are just more suave and don't let others know.

My experience on documentation issue is not in contention. STOP QUOTING me, I can't respond fully as part of my response is usually deleted, take what you want and leave the rest
Say it again? I didn't quite get you.

Soon DHL officials will start saying that they are speaking the mind of the VOs.

travelland:
Lol who said you will be denied? No, the ECO will decide who gets visa or not, but there's nothing ludicrous about adding tax returns/clearance card. It's not compulsory though
Solatium:
It does not need to make sense to you,but it does make sense to those who are in it, ask around to know how many people always have their tax and pensions deducted from source monthly nut there are no evidence of remittance, they usually don't know these sharp practices until when they need a tax clearance or out of their job and wanting to access their pension.

@just.wise,you need to admit you don't know it all, there are one million and one things you don't know and you need ti admit and let go when people come up with superior argument backed by facts and figures..Shalom
What is the use of discussing the bolded if it's not to say that you need to show that your company is remitting your tax?

travelland:
Let's not argue about this, VFS is not the embassy but we were taught and know what the embassy requires because we were the ones who collect the documents from applicants, we worked with the checklist and when they are refused they come back to us to resubmit so you can't tell me we will not be in a good place to know what the embassy wants.

While working some of us employees had tax clearance cards, if one includes it, this helps in making his status as an employee more authentic in case they may be having doubts as payslips can be manipulated but they have a way of verifying the authenticity of a tax card

You've made your point and I've made mine, the OP can chose to pick which one he wants.
Don't appropriate powers that are not yours. Tax card for an employee is not compulsory. It is not even necessary. Don't make this process more onerous than it has to be.

Career › Re: KPMG Salary Structure: Salary Payment Of Staffs Of KPMG Nigeria by blank(f): 11:34am On Jun 15, 2017
gbishman:
These so called multinational companies don't have any standards what so ever, one would expect that a KPMG staff in UK, US or where ever should be the same any where in the world. i.e what a KPMG staff of the same cadre in UK earns should same as that in Nigeria or else where.
No standards
To resolve these issues is quite easy, a law should be passed that before such firms are patronised they must show their compliance to global standards.
Will the law also state that their clients (the companies they audit or consult for) have to pay the same amount of fees as the other international companies? Did you really think this through? Don't you know the relationship between salaries and the revenues of a company?

Also, reports says he is 36 years old but the man looks 45 and above.

Did anyone else notice the discrepancies?
This story is fake. It is the story of another kidnapper. That one was a small time kidnapper but was in the news last year.

For the parents to collect money, it means that they are prostituting their baby girl. That's a very serious offence. So the father has turned to a love-vendor? He's just as bad as the guy that raped her.

How about the online corporate beggars? They always just need N20,000 to complete their school fees or N5,000 to transport themselves for their father's funeral.
