Middle management is very frustrating. Your line reports look up to you as you know how the shoe pinches them and senior management look up to you to maintain and increase whatever rogue targets they give.

We had our MPR for our branches with senior management. We, regional heads can only come as onlookers. So, I prepared my branch heads, prepared good cases for those with poor performance especially as some factors were out of their control and most of them delivered powerful presentations. I was very impressed. The MD was in the session and was very impressed. Yet they still gave them poor performance memos. So effing unfair and very demotivating.

Hi guys,

Really feel like an agbaya in contributing to this thread as a contributor to the 2008-2012 version. Many of the folks on that version are no longer active here.

Seriously dampening my morale. Hoping I will get the fire to start contributing.
Increase your morale. I will also start contributing even though I am a 2008 member. Just discovered the thread and it has been interesting.

This was a mother's day stunt for mother's day. A mother and her son not husband.

This was even on front page on mother's day.

Good morning house, thank you all for selfless support. Please help check this out and advc on what to do as the refusal letter says no right to appeal and administrative review.

Note: I did not make nor receive deposit/s that total sum of 410,000 in my account between 27/07/17 and 24/08/17 as claimed by the ECO.

I only received 66,523.72 and 88,992.65

Thank you.
The 410,000 is the sum of the other column between July and August. Since we can't see the balances, we can't say if they were actual deposits or withdrawals. Except you are inferring that the VO can't read a bank statement.

If you wear the financial pants, you're the head of the house. If we jointly contribute, we both are joint heads (in order of contribution).

My definition of head of house is who has the final decision on issues in the house.

Horrible English!

I stopped reading after the first few sentences. Like wtf! In your bid to impress with 'big words', you inadvertently created an article whose first sentences were filled with wrong English expressions. I'm sure the rest of the article is equally filled with errors.

Using 'inundation' instead of 'insinuation', jeez! Work on your English dude! angry
Insinuation - unpleasant hint

Inundation - overwhelming abundance

What is the error in what he said?

Nothing to be confused about. It will go the way of the coal industry ie become irrelevant.

Thanks. Seems they are moving at slow pace.

Any signs of construction at any of the pedestrian bridges : Vgc, ikota, Marwa, ikate?
Zero signs. They are not constructing anything. I don't know why they will leave the half done. I can't cross that express for anything.

The traffic seems to be easing off but the true test will be when schools resume next week. The traffic usually starts from the approach to Jakande. I think they made that place too narrow.

Is there any plan of removing Abraham Adesanya roundabout? Seems they have forgotten it.

Please who amongst us has had a baby at 35weeks...did the baby need an incubator??

Everyday new things keep comming up due to the high risk pregnancy, I've taken every drug many doctors have prescribed....almost every doctor in ikorodu knows me now and I'm afraid for my baby.....please i need to know what it wld look like having my baby at 35weeks so that I can just get a CS done this weekend
I had my first son at 35 weeks. He stayed in an incubator for only 1 night as the paediatrician wasn't around as it was an emergency cs and a weekend but once she saw him she removed him from the incubator. The only thing is that he had to stay for phototherapy as he had jaundice. He was tiny initially but he has grown and more than surpassed his milestones. Don't let your heart be troubled. Keep praying speaking good confessions. He will be okay.
