You need to see them in Lagos. Always at Ikate, Jakande, Adeola Odeku, Lagos Island, Maryland junction. Very rude children. Some will even start drawing/writing rubbish on your car whilst mouthing off.

I understand and appreciate the thought process. However, if they insist on it as one of the criteria to get recruited then it gives Igbos an unfair advantage.

This Regina Daniels can't lie intelligently. The stories keep changing. I initially believed her but the inconsistencies are getting too many. How did the scammer get hold of a DM sent to her verified page and was able to use it to further threaten the girl?

If they sincerely follow this policy during recruitment then Igbos will dominate because most Igbos that live in other regions know their languge and that of their hosts.

Inasmuch as you want him out, tty as much as possible to do it without creating bad blood. Before being aggressive about it, try and have a nice talk with him. Don't assume that he would react negatively.

I am sure after seeing his sister being asked to leave, he would have already started making plans but just saving up money to move.

Quit sounding like a broken record. How many banks have you negotiated with, are there not many options available for you to chose what fits ts you need, people even do these things for others at lesser interest rates, such a person to try "Ajor" scheme, it helps.
You mentioned easy access to credit and microfinance banks is why i had to call you out. How is "ajor" a credit system? Obviously, you have run out of "facts" that you pulled out of your hat and have started stretching reality. For your information, it is Renmoney that charges those ridiculous interest rates.

Again, i ask, how is "ajo" a credit system that it qualifies as easy access to credit?

You definitely have had no experience in obtaining credit in Nigeria which is why you are at liberty to yarn dust.

Tell him that you want to talk to him man to man.

That he has started working for some time, has now reached the point he should be talking of settling down and getting married. To aid this, he needs to now get his own apartment so that he can bring home visitors freely and generally start life. If you are generous, you can tell him that you would support him in this endeavour by giving him a certain amount. You would be expecting that by xxxx (mention the month), he will be able to get an apartment.

If the month you mentioned comes and goes and he doesn't move, you have to give him an ultimatum. That you have given him accommodation until he got on his feet, it is now his time to do same for others. He has xx months to leave your house and be firm on it.

Good day mamas.

Please I need advice.

My 21-month-old daughter was having cough and running temperature last week. We took her to the hospital and she was given amoxicillin to be used for a week. Three days after we started giving her, she coughed all through the night to the extent that she could not sleep. Had to take her back to the hospital and she was nebulized twice. The doctor then gave us piriton, azithromycin and prednisolone. The prednisolone is new to me so I decided to check it online. The information I saw on it was scary to say the least. Now, I'm scared to give her. Should I go ahead or not? Please help.

cc: soonest, all mamas
Please go ahead with the prednisolone. It is very quick acting and very effective. The information on it is scary because it is a steroid however, it needs to work to quickly expand your baby's airways so that she can breathe easily. It is not to be used for a long time. My kids all had it and it worked in the severe cases that the nebulizer was not able to achieve long lasting results.

Microfinance for the poor, banks for others. There's no point countering my post when you don't live in Nigeria presently.
Easy access to credit means that the credit should be affordable. What is affordable about 32% to 40% interest rate? That means for every money you borrow, one-third of the same amount will go as interest. That's what Microfinance banks are charging.

On The River

It was a hot summer day, but Inspector Varnike was on duty. The detective, along with his assistant, was chasing a criminal. Following in his footsteps, they found themselves on the shore of a small but very deep and rapid river.

The inspector and his assistant saw swimmers, approached them, and asked, “We are looking for a guy your age. He must be somewhere nearby. Have you seen him?“

”He ran past us a few minutes ago. He flung himself into the river right here. You can see him on the other side of the river! Hurry!“

The nice guy even offered to give Varnike his boat, but he refused.

“Let them run away,” said the inspector. ”Now I want to get acquainted with you.”

Why did the inspector decide to pay attention to the boys and not chase the fugitive on the other side?
The fugitive is one of the swimmers. Maybe, cos he was not wearing his swimming pants or was not tanned enough?

Christmas Mystery

Inspector Varnike was on duty during the Christmas holidays. On the morning of December 25th, he went on a call. He rang the doorbell, and a minute later a sleepy apartment owner opened it. The inspector introduced himself and said, “I have to carefully inspect your apartment. Your neighbor says that yesterday, Christmas Eve, he came to your place for a party. And while he was singing songs along with your family next to your Christmas tree, shining with multicolored lights, you broke into his apartment and stole a number of valuable items.“

The owner replied, ”That’s not true! Our family celebrated Christmas Eve at our friends’ place. We went to them in the afternoon. I barely had time to decorate the Christmas tree before we left. We returned back home way past midnight and went to sleep right away. If you want, I can wake my wife and son up, and they’ll confirm all I’ve said.“

“There’s no need for that,” interrupted Inspector Varnike. ”It’s quite obvious to me that your neighbor is a liar.”

How did Inspector Varnike manage to catch the neighbor in a lie so quickly?
From the picture, the lights are not plugged in so there could not have been "multicolored lights".

Hot summer day

It was a hot summer day, and a police detective decided to catch a little sun by the banks of a river. Suddenly, he heard a woman crying.

“What’s happened?“ he asked the sobbing girl. ”Please calm down, and tell me everything one step at a time.“

“That’s easy for you to say,” said the girl between sobs. ”You can’t even imagine how dear that bracelet was to me. I come here every day. Today I took off my bracelet while sunbathing, placed it on top of my book, and accidentally fell asleep. I woke up, and my bracelet wasn’t there anymore.”

The inspector fell into deep thought. There were no footsteps left by other people in the sand around where the girl had been sitting, apart from her own. There were no other people in the vicinity. It followed that only one of the regular visitors to the beach could have taken the bracelet. These people had now formed a thick wall all around the inspector. He looked at them, and within a moment understood who could have taken it.
Looking at the picture, the culprit is the man with the fishing pole. He used the fishing pole to get it.

Hello mommas.... congratulations on the New born babies. May God bless and keep them in Jesus name! I've attached a picture of my baby's navel. It was small initially but seems to have blown up as he grew. He's two months old. What can we do bout it? Has anyone here experienced same and it went back in? Thanks!

Have a great weekend
My babies had this too. My husband had a very big one as a baby but it has disappeared now. They called it umbilical hernia. There is a hole at the navel that didn't cover properly. The doctor will assess it and let you know if a minor surgery will be required but it is not usually a big deal. A lot of kids have it and grow with it to old age. Some parents decide to do the surgery for a girl so that the navel will not be too big.

My kids will not have the surgery. I see them play with it a lot. They like to push it in and pull it out at will. Just don't let them hide things there. grin
