Diligent1: Then why your people always blame Tinubu for anything that happen in Lagos State, he also left some years ago.
Like I said earlier on, Nigeria’s biggest threat is bigotry! Meanwhile, I am not Igbo if you care to know. And I can’t be caught in the web of bigotry. I just want a Nigeria that works.
InvertedHammer: / Dicey situation. I am not a lawyer but I know that Nigeria is very selective in application of her laws.
But I can understand the frustration. I will be too if I were in their shoes. Imagine dipping hands into your accounts to fund an election while your opponent is getting a free ride. Considering what happened during EndSARS, they know that if mobilized well, Tinubu's loot is a dot in a circle compared to Diasporan funds.
Nigerians in Nigerian are helpless. The most anger you will get about the situation in Nigeria is mostly from Nigerians living abroad who look around them and see the potentials of Nigeria that is being grossly mismanaged by incompetent buffoons in power. To the Nigerians in Nigeria, ignorance is bliss--3 cups of rice can sway their votes.
Infact, Nigerians in Nigeria are the clogs in the wheels of progress. /
I totally agree with the op, Nigerians in Nigeria have unfortunately become the clogs in the wheel of progress for Nigeria. We in the diaspora cry and yearn for the transformation of our country. The state of things in our country is heartbreaking to say the least! But then, how the oppressed youths defend their oppressors is beyond my imagination
NOHOLDSBAR: Washed up artist looking for relevance. This dumb ass fool is only supporting Obi tuary only because they are both IGBOS nothing else. Peter Obi tuary has no record to run on except for investing Anambra money into his own family business. The idiot sat next to me on a Delta Flight to Atlanta from Lagos wearing sweat pants and shirt with winter hat in hot ass airport. I don't really care for celebrities in the first place but I really never gave a fvck about this guy, he was full of himself. I ignored his ass throughout the flight The Zombidients are the major ones trying to tear down other candidates just to promote their Biafuro lying project. They can repackage their BIAFURO agenda/projet all they want, Nigerians can see through it. Not going to work.
So much pains and hate expressed in one post! I now believe Nigeria’s problem is bigotry
donphilopus: Why did you intentionally/maliciously omit Lagos from the headline?
Is Lagos not better than Anambra? The good people of Lagos are moving freely today whereas everyone is indoor in Anambra as I'm typing this now.
Your personal savior, Peter Obi sneaked into Anambra weekend and sneaked out of the state to avoid being trapped in their Monday sit-at-home. Where did he run back to? Tinubu's Lagos. Yet that's the person enemies of Nigeria are claiming would rescue Nigeria. What has he done to stop the sit-at-home in his state?
Or do you guys want Obi to replicate Anambra wonders in Nigeria where everyone would sit at home every Monday? Most of the OBIDIEND and YUSFOOL children here dare not walk along Upper Iweaka in Onitsha at 7pm for the fear of being kidnapped and robbed yet they want us to vote the man who bred those criminals.
I know politics can get murky, but I doubt we should lose our intelligence to it. Peter Obi is not the Governor of Anambra State, he left the position more than eight years ago. The question we should ask ourselves is whether or not there was a “sit at home” in place throughout his tenure. This is a man who stepped in and stopped Bakassi boys and MASSOB menace in his State at the time.
America is arguably the greatest country in the world and runs the biggest economy in the world as well, yet they import many finished products from China, India, etc. there’s no one country that is self sustaining in everything; every country depends one way or the other on others - the world is now a global village, Nigeria cannot be an exception! We must continue to import goods as we must also make efforts to improve our manufacturing capabilities. Import and export go together. I think blaming an import for the fall of naira is more mischievous than factual. I believe what Peter Obi offers is to ramp up our productive capacity. I stand with Peter Obi

I want to say this with every sense of respect to men who earn 100k in today’s Naija not to even attempt to date, or marry a lady who isn’t earning at least close to same amount. It takes a lady who earns income to appreciate same energy in another person. I believe that the essence of relationship is partnership as both parties contribute their decent quarter to make their union beautiful
This post fills me up with so much emotions; the fact that the Op can manage that amount of money with a pregnant wife is fascinating to me. To be honest, a woman such that the Op is married to is rare. I can only wish you guys God’s speed. On the flip side, Naija government needs to do better to improve the economy as families are really struggling.
I write this short essay on the premise of hope - a hope for a loving, caring and a United nation State, where human life will matter more than ethnic and religious inclination. A nation where everyone will thrive to preserve everyone in the spirit of brotherhood.
I honestly hope and pray that in my lifetime, the myriad of problems bedeviling the unity and progress of Nigeria would have been mitigated considerably to allow our country flourish in glory, and strength amongst the Comity of Nations without anyone or section whether big or small left behind, strangulated and emasculated for selfish, political and sectarian interest.
I dare hope that we may argue, quarrel, struggle and even fight, but only so as to strengthen our bond as brothers and sisters for our collective good, not as Victor and vanquished. I look forward to that day where our hope for a better and prosperous nation for all of us will reflect on our politics, religion, culture and even personal psyche. May our Nigeria rise in glory in my lifetime.
Nigeriafirstlad: Obi supporters are waiting for obi to drop account number on his verified social media handle so they can start contributing while others are waiting for mobilising fees.
People still do not have a clue what it means for people to start a movement. People will sacrifice their last blood just to satisfy their conviction and be glad that at least they make effort to save the country.
My 200k is peacefully and quitely waiting for the bank account.
Ddokie: What is the meaning of all this for goodness sakes?
Why do they keep holding this man? Is he about to fall?
Maybe they should put him on a wheel chair and wheel him around. I think that will be the best thing to do. Afterall they said Roosevelt ruled America from a wheel chair.
Let them just put baba on a wheel chair and say his leg is not working well, but his brain is functional. That is a lot better and dignifying than holding him like a child who is learning how to walk. This is very disgraceful abeg.
tinsel: I live in the USA with my family, cost of gasoline, food items etc have gone up. Go to wall mart and shop, everything up. Gasoline( fuel) is about 5 dollars per litre up from about 3 dollars
Yes prices of gas etc went up two months ago, but has since dropped significantly. I bought gas for about $4 plus in June, but has since dropped to $3.33. This drops in price cuts across almost every items. Please mention one items in Nigeria that drops in price after going up
NyamiriFlathead: Hope you are not referring to ipob pigs as Nigerians because they are the only ones supporting the akpu munching idiot..... Mind you, hoebi idiot is going nowhere, the bastard is an ipob project and we will make sure the bastard never smell aso rock... If you are pained, you are free to do the needful
Taking care of a special need child is a full time job which is why developed countries pay trained, qualified and certified nurses for such a job. But I doubt Naija government has got any efficient social welfare system running for such kids. To think the man hid this information from his-to-be-wife even makes it unforgivable. His failure to disclose and discuss such a delicate situation deprived her the right of informed choice, which is indicative of a manipulator. Now his innocent pregnant wife is saddled with a responsibility she wasn’t prepared for. Sad! Opp, I suggest you LEAVE for your own sanity and the sanity of your unborn baby at least for now until you have your baby, hopefully, after delivering you would be in the best mental and emotional state to objectively reappraise the whole situation. And I must add, should you remain in the marriage, don’t be in a hurry to have more kids until your (family) financial situation improve considerably. A man who can’t even afford a mate for as low as 25k shouldn’t be in a hurry to marry let alone making babies
The begging that goes on at our points of entry especially our airports is so nauseating to say the least. Those immigration, police and other security officials at the airports beg so unashamedly until one feels almost guilty for not obliging their entreaties. Carrying with me some Naira notes each time I arrive Naija airports has become an unconscious act just so to escape being seen as selfish, wicked and heartless. The culture of begging must stop
If Tinubu truly rejected to run with Atiku on a same faith ticket, how come he has now decided to run with Shetima? No matter how much I try to reason this Tinubu’s long epistle, it still doesn’t add up a quarter to common sense. Tinubu is lying!
In a sane country, both the defense minister and the Police and Prison Chiefs would have been fired without delay, but here, I doubt the President knows what he is doing
SteveDGreat: One oluku supporting Tinubu said he had screenshot my post to use after the elections to taunt me. LOL. See mumu abeg. I am in America. In the last two years my light never blink. My internet is faster than your impulses, I dey go hospital to do check up for fun. I am getting a world class education. I am not complaining about the price of bread. The Police can't harass me because I get laptop. If I protest for this place nobody go kill me. I have visas to two developed countries and can get three more before the year ends if I want. I don't have to step a foot in Nigeria again if I wan
You're in a slum somewhere in Lagos, your house is probably inside a canoe and you're dragging with a flood trying to take your sorry ass into the Atlantic ocean. For night you will give your neighbor with small tiger gen your phone to help you and charge for 15 minutes so you can come online...and you are waiting for Tinubu to become president so you can mock me.
Some of you don't deserve to be counted during a census, because you give a wrong estimation of the number of human beings in Nigeria.
Pope Itodo
That’s how I explain to one the other day that I’m not Obi-dient because of tribe, because I believe Peter Obi has what it takes to help our country. I told him I could choose not to visit Nigeria again
Izzyboy19: If it doesn't hurt you today, it will hurt tomorrow, if she was so valuable to her previous lover, he will have married her, stop taking care of another man's responsibility because you wanna pls a lady, it will end in premier tears las las, #NO TO SIMPING
This is an unfortunate situation! The lesson here for me is, men should work hard and plan for their retirement devoid of any expectations from their children begotten or adopted.
It is my personal belief that HE Peter Obi has the mental and spiritual capacities to lead Nigeria out of its economic woes and reposition the country for the good of the next generation.
Our country has almost gone off the cliff and we, as people of good will must rise to the rescue by electing a credible manager of resources in Peter Obi.
With HE Peter Obi, Nigeria will rise again out of ignominy to a shining light in the comity of Nations.
I thought Anambra elections taught this people some lessons but I guess it didn’t.
Down here, bigwigs don’t influence our decision or direction or choice unlike the wastern region who play baba Sope politics and are tied to the apron of godfathers.
During the Anambra guber elections, there is no bigwig that APC did not purchase in Anambra. From Deputy Governor to Senators, House of Rep members and members of House of Assembly.
We were here laughing at them, telling them that these people will influence nada but idiots and fools, especially Tinubu urchins, did not believe us.
Election Day came and APC candidate came third
Now, they’re about to embark on another shopping spree and are salivating on the possibility of buying Wike.
But I want to categorically tell you people that Wike joining APC will not influence nada as to the votes that APC will get in Rivers in particular and Southsouth in general.
It is not about Wike, it’s about the people. Feel the pulse of the people and you know that nobody in Southeast and Southsouth will vote Tinubu.
As usual, I have stated reality but I expect Tinubu urchins to wallow in their usual delusion.
I totally agree with you that Wike joining APC will have little or no effect on how the people of the Region will vote: South South are not political slaves to godfathers
Moment Governor Wike drove off with former NDDC Acting MD, Joy Nunieh
after rescuing her from “house arrest” . LIB reported earlier that Joy Nunieh who is scheduled to testify before a house committee as part of the ongoing probe against NDDC, was stopped from leaving her home by policemen who stormed her apartment in the early hours of today. . . She has been enmeshed in a public face-off with Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Godswill Akpabio who she accused of embezzlement and sexually harassing her[/quote
The fact that police officers can go to effect arrest of a citizen without a valid court warrant and a governor of a State court intervened in a police operation (supposing it was legit) can only happen in a third world country. When shall law enforcement officers and political office holders do things right in this country. We are just too lawless
