The Constitution is clear about who is qualified to be President. It is very clear about dual citizenship and criminality. And it states explicitly that they stand disqualified if they don't meet the criteria.

Having said this, swearing-in anybody who doesn't meet the constitutional requirement amounts to trashing the constitution and suspending Nigeria's democracy. This is a fact.

Let us be clear here, following the revelations over the last few weeks, about the person and crimes of Bola Tinubu; it is madness to still think a swearing-in would happen. Not only does he stand disqualified by the constitution, his presidency is also a national security risk as Nigeria would become a pariah state. There absolutely is no basis for the swearing-in, unless we have a mad president, mad service chiefs and mad CJN, who cannot defend Nigeria's Honour and Integrity.

Nigeria is bigger than rogue politicians and we must not destroy the nation just to please anyone or any party. Nigeria's interest must supersede all else. And we must all be patriotic to our father land.

I tell us plainly that Bola Tinubu can NOT and will Not be sworn-in. It would NEVER happen.
We would either have an interim govt or Buhari gets one month extension. There is no law that says handover must be on May 29, especially if there is a national security risk.
