I have a friend who did same. His promotion letter and offers letter showed his JD. If you request reference letter in his company you must tender resignation. So many bad belle employers in Nigeria.

Are you serious...and she put her name beneath the signature? This is very bold indeed. what I know that you can do yourself is to write a statutory declaration. Reference letters are usually written by a someone else mostly a supervisor.

Just received my PPR.. Wow! I'm still surprised as I called IRCC just yesterday and was told my eligibility was recommended pass while my security had not been started. My AOR was on March 12 and due date Sept 12. I was thinking the Covid would have delayed the application.

I'm so grateful to God and to every single person here on Nairaland. And to all the mods who helped create fantastic page 1. That was all I read and that was what helped me submit a good application.

Hi,

Ultra new member here (Although I've been a very active non-member). I really want to commend everyone for the good job they've been doing, most especially all those that take time off their busy schedules to answer questions.

I'm a bit confused on my NOC choice. Could someone be so kind as to help me with the best NOC to choose as my job description seems to fall under two NOC's.

My job duties are listed below:

1) Local purchase of items needed for running the company.
2) Maintained stock levels of all items
3) Sourced and maintained relationships with suppliers
4) Planned logistics schedule for suppliers.

Good day great people. Pls I want to seek a clarification. Smone said WES doesn't evaluate Polytechnic certs. because aside my MSc, I also have ND in SLT and my wife has HND & PGDE. They said these, if evaluated, will also add to our score.
What do U advise? Which agency is the best for us? Thanks!

Do you think a former colleague (who no longer works there) can write a reference letter for me and attach their previous work ID card?

I only have resignation letter and bank statement to show that I actually worked there.

In this case, what's the best way to handle this?

Question: She applied for Canada visiting Visa in February, 2015 through an agent. She only went to Lagos for biometric, every other details including email address used for correspondence was arranged by the agent.

I need some advise re my EE profile. I got into the pool in May with a score of 470. For my marital status, i chose "Married", but indicated that my husband will not be accompanying me as we were already having issues. We have now separated and are moving forward with a divorce. Thankfully, we have both decided to be very civil with one another especially as we have a child together.

As I earlier mentioned, I submitted my EE application with my marital status as “Married with non accompanying spouse”. From my understanding, this means that my husband will have to do his PCC, medicals and be counted as a member of the family re POF.

However, I want to change the status on my profile to Legally Separated. As I prepare my documents in the hopes of getting an ITA soon, could you please advise me on the following? Sorry about your situation.

1. Will my husband still be required to submit his ECA, PCC, Medical Clearance if I change my status to “Legally separated”? No, he won't, as you are now applying as "divorced"

2. What documents do I need to submit to substantiate my status as “legally separated”, as I will be unable to get a divorce certificate yet. Please note that the divorce petition is already being filed. Like i said, my husband and I are quite cordial, so if there's any document i need to get from him, that wont be a problem. You would need your official/legal divorce documents and of course the legal documents to prove that you have custody of the child, if he/she will be part of your application.

3. Will my husband still be counted as a member of the family re POF if I change my status to “Legally separated”? As long as you remain separated, you wouldn't need to show POF for him.

4. My child has US citizenship. Should i use the US passport or the Nigerian one when applying?
Not sure of this but I think there will be an option to select his/her nationality while filling in details for the child. You should use the passport of whichever country you choose here.
