Dennyjuff: Note: You gave away too much info already and it's not necessary. VOs do comb popular threads like this for trends. I would advise, in your own interest and those of others here, that you delete your post or rephrase. You already mentioned what's not allowed with respect to your POF and hubby. All the best! 6 Likes 1 Share |

Abeg, before dem implement such, they should allow some of us and our loves ones enough time to find another country relocate to.. We won't be part of that-shoot-me-I-shoot-you calamity of a nation! We that are already grandmasters of doing things to an unimaginable extremes! 1 Like |

Cc: @justwise Very funny how antispambot bans indiscriminately on this site o.. I was trying to reply and empathize with someone few days back only for me to endure typing my very long reply, posted and while hoping to see my post, I got a notice that I can't do such now and that I should try later. Knowing this trend well, as it wasn't the first, I clicked on my moniker. Lo and behold, I had "chopped" a 1hr ban! Oya 1hr come and go now, it became 24 hours.. And that was how the ban kept extending till I gave up. Just trying again now to see if the antispambot has taken a chill pill, and luckily it has. 3 Likes |

I'm not even close to being a supporter of Buhari but com'mon, this is politics, what does Chief Jim expect from someone his tribe publicly showed hatred for during the election by massively voting against? It's about the time that region woke up and started playing politics too the mainstream way, the way it should be without putting tribal sentiment into everything, at least, as long as they are still part of the country called Nigerian. It's the reason I still respect, politically that is, people like OUK, RO and recently, Umahi. Not because of anything but because they know to catch a monkey, you must be a monkey. 1 Like |

Iceyjayz:Lol.. That's what they do these days. Come to this kind of thread and covertly incite tribes against each other. Here, he purposely called out Igbo guys so that they can get offended and he specifically mentioned he's a Yoruba banging Igbos in his area.. No sane and peace-loving person will do this! And all his likes, if you have means to verify, are majorly by his other monikers.. He has forgotten we're just mere mortals. If he dies today, he's leaving all these rubbish instanta 3 Likes |

marsman: Proud of his his heritage indeed! As you said I'm not a Yoruba, and that's only by birth, still a Yoruba by marriage. Got two gorgeous Yoruba children. When I showed hubby the post he celebrated it his own way and not by rubbing it in the faces of other tribes like others do purposely here to cause discord. |

solmusdesigns: I don't even have your time. I only let the OP know that there was no need boldening the words OYO and YORUBA as it's glaring already to everyone who read the post. It's hallmark of a tribalist. Take it or leave it.. 1 Like |

GBSS: Waouh !!!! Congrats bro. @bolded, I can imagine how you feel. That overdue joy... Thank God it has finally ended in praise. This journey ehnn.. From WES and their siblings' frustrations, to IELTS strong things, to the uncertainty of draws and CRS cut-off, to the depression associated with approaching birthdays for those in their 30s standing at early 470s, to the agony of having to learn a new language and face the almighty TEF... Then if you're among the blessed/lucky ones and get ITA, the silent treatment and hanging in AVO and recently in OVO, to finally getting PPR and the confusion of not knowing where to send your passport. And if your village people are still active and you gambled with one, then your passport might turn to an office decoration in a certain VFS.. Even if finally, you get the COPR, you and COVID travel restriction start starring at each other in the face... One just gotta prep for the worst while hoping for luck and the best.. We shall overcome one day like @GBSS! 15 Likes |

longetivity: I'm sure this issue of bringing tribalism to every post/discussion on Nairaland will soon become a thing of the past by the time every sane person here realises it's just a mere tool to cause disaffection and hatred by agents of darkness who don't even have any love for this country. I bet you're not even a Yoruba person, not even if you can speak the language. You're only working on people's mind so that the other tribes will attack you while you use your other monikers to fan the embers of discord you've just sown! Kwantinueee... 10 Likes |

RxOtunba: Hello, To answer your question, pls put yourself in a scenario whereby you sat for a University's post-UTME test and you scored 80/100 and let's say Pharmacy is the department you're applying to and they pegged their minimum entry score at 70/100. Now ask yourself this question, in an open process, would there be any reason/justification to pick someone at 71 or one at 74 or even someone at 69 and not pick you at 80? 8 Likes |

Ladywinterfell:Lol.. I thought I was as well. Just ignore. I have learnt to amuse myself with some posts rather than drinking panadol for someone's headache. We're all adults here and if you're truly exploring this Immigration route (not some fake profiles o) but fail to read page 1 and do your due research before taking all the pieces of advice on this thread hook, line and sinker, then you should be ready for whatever outcome it yields. People can only sympathize, it will never undo any damage already done! So my sister, just calm down and don't engage in any more argument biko. I haven't been in this thread that long, but I know who to learn/pick advice from. It's because I do more of reading and researching than I ask questions. Funny enough, my husband is also on this thread as well, in fact he got me in after so much persuasion and today, we are post-AOR. All of our knowledge was strictly gotten from this thread with careful sifting. 10 Likes |

Quite understandable why some senior monikers/erstwhile committed gurus run away or better put, abandon the thread without looking back after getting the golden mail.. It's recycled and repackaged questions all over. The funniest thing is we hate the truth.. We'd rather hate on and criticize the one apparently telling it. 7 Likes |

You always know them and their types by merely checking for that unprovoked remarks.. Let them be abeg, it's 2021. The best they can do is to keep using their other monikers to reply themselves in order to incite hatred. Not everyone will swallow their gimmicks hook, line and sinker! 8 Likes |

We'll keep saying it, put most Nigerians in the position of SARS officials, they would do worse than the SARS we rejected. Put many of them in position of power and see for yourself how their greed blossom. It's just in most of us. That explains why the #ENDSARS got compromised and eventually hijacked.. If only we can all change our greedy and selfish mentality first, then we would start witnessing the change we truly desire. |
