You guys can team up to send the younger ones, like two, to sign agreement to learn hairdressing & fashion design for just two years. The rest will support them in that period.

If others wish to, they can learn same trade from the two once they are through. Or the two can now support one or two more to go to higher institution.

Lifting oneself up is a gradual thing. Like a 5 to 10 years plan.

A fashion designer or hairdresser will make far more money and have more independence than a low pay worker.

Tell her you are giving her only this month to make an upgrade to at least 10k and July to December to upgrade to 15k to 20k. She should even go to shops that are not advertising for sales people and drop an application with a phone number stated in it. What is 5,500 for God's sake, even if she is just coming to open the shop and sweep, it is too small. As she is going to work, church, to buy things, etc, she should look out for jobs and keep her ears and eyes open. If you expect little, you will get little, if you expect more, you will get more.

Go learn web design and maintenance, I know guys who make at least $300 a month as beginners designing website for people online through.

You can't go wrong with air condition repair and services, they never go out of fashion, my friends who do it in Lagos all own their own houses.

You can also learn how to hatch fish, that one is more lucrative but after learning you need money to invest.

Carpentry is a good skill to learn, if you ever find yourself abroad, that skill is recession Proof, you know why? Cause they build almost every house with wood.

However, I want you to know that because of stress (due what's happening, you are stressed) you might have some symptoms like headache, lack of appetite, fatigue, etc which are not necessarily related to any infection or disease.
Maybe you can watch out for swollen lymph nodes or a rash. But the ultimate truth will be told by a test.
You might be lucky. Transmission of the disease from a man to a woman is like 100% whereas from a woman to a man is slightly low.

My dear nobody that attended even only nursery school should get 5.5k. Period.

When we paid a maiguard 20k per month many years ago, I felt it was too little. He got some pecks now & then too. He didn't pay rent, water or light bill. His quarters had similar amenities like bathroom/WC like main house. He even later had a wife & kid conveniently living there.

Seeing signs depends on how advanced the disease is. The HIV virus causes AIDs. Many things can play a role in the time taken for HIV to cause AIDs. They include your immunity, nutrition/quality of food you eat, whether someone accepts their new status and live positively, etc. So it's not easy to know when she will see symptoms.
The best thing is for her to be taken to a HIV clinic (I don't know how that works in Nigeria). At the clinic they will do a CD4 count (some test carried on HIV patients to determine how advanced the disease is and to see whether the patient should start taking ARVs).

Back to you. Why did you do skin to skin with 2 prostitute? The deed is already done. My advice: try not to worry. It's not easy. But remind yourself that AIDs is not a death sentence, if one lives positively. One doesn't even have to start taking ARVs immediately.

Try not to worry. Keep yourself busy for the next 6 weeks. If you don't have a job, volunteer at any place close to you. You will have less time to worry. After 6 weeks, do a HIV test. Currently, there are advanced kits that can detect HIV in 6 weeks (I don't know the situation in Nigeria).

The test might be +ve or -ve. If it comes up negative, wait for some time again and go for another test. If after 3 months, you're still -ve. You'll most likely be free from the virus.

There are post exposure drugs that are administered if 72 hours have not elapsed. They are taken orally for some period. In this girl's case that will not work since she's already tested positive.
