Politics / Re: Who Is More Powerful; A Cbn Governor Or A State Governor by blinx4real(m): 1:25pm On Apr 02, 2009
POWERFUL?? What a word, ur que sounds like a 5yr old asking his dad "who is more powerful - Batman or Superman!"

The question of power does not even come in at all, the functions of a CBN gov is totally separate from that of the state gov, there is no overlap and no cause for interference in each other's roles adn responsibility.

It is only in naija that someone considers himself POWERFUL simply because he has an official position. Do ur bloody work and stop looking for pple to oppress.
Politics / Re: G20 Meeting: Nigeria Out, Igbo In by blinx4real(m): 11:58am On Apr 02, 2009
Afaukwu:

Nigeria out as G-20 summit opens in London
From Laolu Akande (New York) and Francis Obinor (Lagos) with agency reports

NIGERIA has been excluded again by the G-20 Summit for the second consecutive time, but her former Finance Minister, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, (Igbo woman) has been given the responsibility to draft the position paper of Africa to the G-20 leaders' meeting which opens today in London.

Posts like this should not be allowed to thrive and posters like this guy should have their heads examined,
(the latter recommendation being a more prefered and urgent requirement)
If in this age when the whole WORLD is coming to the realisation that no human is better than d otehr irrespective of the color, language or nativity, a nonentity who has contributed ZERO to any forum of significant influence in this world has the guts to raise triablistic and divisionary comments.

It is PITIABLE!!! Wake up, your life will not be better in Biafra, in fact I can assure that it will be worse! If all your brotehrs from all over Nigeria are ejected and their life long investments confiscated, would they thank you for that? THINK B4 YOU POST

Please Kindly spare us all,  How many of you who lost money in the stock market have sued your stock brokers and the pretty lady marketters who cajoled you into buying stocks that were dropping like stone in water.

Lets be reasonable, this has nothing to do with the church or the man of God. I can ask you to do anything but don't you think that its your own lack of insight that pulls you to make decisions without based on another man's words.

Career / Re: Your Role Model In Corporate Nigeria? by blinx4real(m): 2:30pm On Mar 20, 2009
I think you are all getting the role model thing wrong!!! A role model is someone you ARE modelling your life after not just someone you admire.
So to someone like sly-k, how can you model your life to be like Kanu, Obj, Dangote and Akunyili at the same time, they have nothing in common! It shows that you are either CONFUSED or you HAVE NO IDEA what you want to do with your life.

Politics / Re: Homosexuals Storm National Assembly by blinx4real(m): 2:34pm On Mar 17, 2009
Let me start by saying that "I don't give a kobo about gays and homosexuals", I am of the opinion that every man is free to do whatever he wants to do BUT and a very big but at that is that I do not enjoy homos trying to force their lifestyle down our throats. It is despicable and unfair, I believe we (I mean straight folks) are the ones who should be complaining.
Marriage as defined by every accepted definiton is a union between Man and Woman with the intention of building a home and procreation. A homosexual relationship cannot achieve that not now not forever. Why do you want to enjoy the priviledges of a union while you do njot want to subject urself to its conditions. So pls u guys should stop clamouring for the right to marriage, let those who can abide by the condition for marriage be entitled to it.

If you are an homosexual, kindly Visit my blog for the full article. Then you can stop speaking from an ignorant point of view, http://blinx4real..com

Family / Re: My Brother Put Me Down by blinx4real(m): 2:11pm On Feb 27, 2009
aus123,
no offence taken, my initial comment was actually intentional, the objective is jar our minds back to reality of what is happening around us, we now have gays and lesbians publicly flounting themselves and demanding for more and more recognition and acceptance, in clear defiance of both moral and spiritual laws against it.
Many of us are also going soft on them, churches are harassed until they are almost giving in, so its only a matter of time before others in their lust for immorality begin to demand for various obsecne forms of gratification and also demand for recognition, don't be surprised, those we call peadophiles will soon call for their rights to be recognised because thats their constitution and they can't change who they are.
Politics / Re: Ibrahim Babangida Vs Olusegun Obasanjo by blinx4real(m): 2:01pm On Feb 27, 2009
IBB had a culture of bringing in the best brains and rubishing their attempts to resolve country issues, the likes of Wole Soyinka, Tai SOlarin, Falae, Tam David west, Babs Fafunwa and co did their best in their respective fields but the high profile corruption backed by the highest authorities spoilt their achievements.
OBJ in like manner was also deft at identifying and using the best brains available to achieve his purpose, his major fault is his greed and unforgiving nature. The two separate times that Obj ruled the country marks among one of the best times nigeira has had internationally and localy.
Nothing to speak of the current GO-Slow baba now on seat.

Interesting to see the varied views,

Let me introduce a sarcastic twist, , But really who says it is wrong? as long as both are mature adults! at least we allow gays and lesbians to live freely why should you hinder these love because of an archaic tradition
Travel / Re: Nigerian Traffic Rules by blinx4real(m): 10:40am On Feb 27, 2009
Dis Guy:

what's the speed limit on state road or in residential areas?
80km/hr in open country and 50km/hr in population centers(residential areas), but commonsense says you shouldn't drive more than 30km/hr with the kind of traffic we have in 9ja urban centers

Phemzy:

In Nigeria, there is noting like speed limit and 90% of Nigerian did not go to driving school before driving.
@phemzy, Where did u get that from? It shows that you certainly didn't go to a driving school cos if you did u shld know.
If you take the time (while battling with ur jalopy as a result of ur half baked education in driving) you would see it clearly written on sign posts on some roads.
Travel / Re: Nigerian Traffic Rules by blinx4real(m): 2:56pm On Feb 26, 2009
The yellow light is programed and timed by the approved speed limit for the road you are driving on. If the road is a high speed limit road then the yellow light will go on for a while allowing you to slow down and stop and same for a low speed limit road.
In other words, whenever you see a yellow light, it means start to stop, if you are driving too fast and cannot slow down as fast enough then you should be arrested for driving above the speed limit. tongue grin

Can somebody help me explain this bible passage Gal 6v6-nkjv ''Let him who is taught the word share in all good things with him who teaches.''
amp-''Let him who receives instruction in the Word(of God) share all good things with his teacher(contributing to his support)'' Seems to me that apostle paul is encouraging giving towards teachers of d word some of whom are our pastors for their support. I may be wrong anyway
Whats there to explain in something that is so obvious? It means exactly what it says, Share the good things you have with those who instruct you in the word these includes pastors, preachers, evangelists and whatever name they are called.
I find it so troubling why the hullabaloo about giving to men of God, at least he wont put his hand in your pcoket to collect ya money, if u like giveif you like no give, no bodi force you. chikena
Religion / Re: What's This About Firstfruits? by blinx4real(m): 1:26pm On Feb 25, 2009
@ coolruler,
A xtian life is lived by Faith (to understand what faith means read Heb 11) You should not do anything that you don't beleive in (does not mix with faith in you) even if a supposed man of God told you. You lose your reward and also your relationship with God that way.
My friend I am sorry to tell you that your "first fruit" is awuf for the pastor as you did it without faith.

@ blinx4real

The above information is for you and please pay attention to the bold prints. Secondly, as a Nigerian no one needs to tell you that the dude in that pic is a Nigerian.

Bold or fine, the prints don't change my mind. The issue is why are Nigerians so hasty to claim everything; good or bad, the guy in question even though bears a nigerian name, lives abroad, contributes zero to the nigerian economy, zero to our political struggles, zero to our daily fight to stay alive and well in a nation with little help for its own. How come his bad behaviour must now contribute to our barrel of shame? Many nations around the world from Kenya to Japan and even our most humbkle country has laid claims to Obama, but never for once has he claimed any other nation apart from USA.
L&G pls wake up, it is high time we realise that belonging to a nation is a matter of where you have chosen and not a function of where ur papa came from
