puffpuff:Alao Akala is famous for foolishness, there's no use debating why a he-goat smells, back to the issue at hand 1457: After a song by Sammy Okposo, Vice President Namadi Sambo is about to make his speech. Before him we had the remaining governors, then Dimeji Bankole and David Mark mount the podium one after the other. Only Godswill Akpabio, the Akwa Ibom state governor made an effort to touch on issues facing Nigerians day to day. He pointedly reminded everyone that it is almost impossible to travel from Lagos to Calabar by road these days. |
14:25: The 'Chief servant of Niger state' Aliyu Babangida, starts off by asking the same question everyone is wondering: "What am I doing here?" He answers his question by saying that although he was supporting Babangida on Wednesday, "politics is about negotiation." He says all the PDP aspirants should work together to produce the best candidate and should not divide itself. Like his Gombe state counterpart, he does not give a clear endorsement. |
1420: The embattled Ogun state governor, Gbenga Daniel, takes the stage. Not only is he fighting a battle for supremacy in his state, the IBB camp have accused him of double-dealing after Jonathan appointed him campaign coordinator for the Southwest. He is quite clear here on who he is supporting: "President today and president tomorrow," he says. 1419: The Oyo state governor, Christopher Alao-Akala, starts a rendition of "If you are happy and you know say Jega, " which gets the crowd excited. 1416: In a thinly veiled swipe at IBB, Martin Elechi, the Ebonyi state governor says: "Jonathan will not annul a free and fair election." 1413: Amidst all the excitement, we forgot to mention that another conspicuously absent person is former president, Olusegun Obasanjo. He was also missing from the IBB rally on Wednesday. 1408: Danjuma Goje, who represents Northern Nigeria, delivers a short speech and it can best be described as a diplomatic one. All he says is: "Nigeria is for Goodluck and Namadi and they are for Nigeria." It stops just short of an being an outright endorsement. 1405: Sule Lamido of Jigawa state, himslef rumoured to be a presidential candidate, steps forward and gives a glowing endorsement of Mr. Jonathan's candidature. Mr. Lamido is another governor who voted in support of zoning back in July. 1356: Another nominated campaign co-ordinator, Isa Yuguda of Bauchi state says: "We believe in your capacities. We want food and we know you can give us food." 1352: Gabriel Suswam of Benue state, representing North-Central zone, starts things off an unsurprisingly gives his support to President Jonathan. 1350: However before that, all the governors in attendance are being asked to come on stage to wave to the crowd. courtesy : 234Next |
1) He will promptly return all the billions stolen by Politicians and seized by EFCC just like he did after he took over from Buhari 2) He will once again collect dubious loans that we do not need from the International Monetary Fund, or any other lender that will be willingly to lend us (just like OGD is trying to do in Ogun state now), along with the bitter pill of a Structural Adjustment Programme, that will cripple the economy and leave indigenous producers at the mercy of unfriendly and exploitative market forces. 3) He will keep shifting his handover date just like he did before (my Igbo brothers be rest assured there's nothing for you come 2015), This man committed billions of naira to the longest political transition programme anywhere in the world. The record still stands. 4) He will arrest Professor Jega and lock him up just as he did before. 5) He will appoint several come and chop egg-heads just like he did before 6) Finally, he will ban all well meaning men of integrity such as Prof Pat Utomi, El-Rufai, Ribadu and co from contesting for elected positions just like he did before. , If you are looking for the Legacies of IBB, there you have them |
xterra2:How come you are surprised? Do you know how many unemployed young men and women we have in Nigerian, not to mention many people who lost their jobs as a result of bad govt policies. To rent a crowd in this country is the cheapest thing, N1,500 per person is too much for many of these rented crowds at the end of the day these folks don't even get paid the promised sum. It is a pity |
Its high Time!!! ![]() One good man in, we need the other good men to now show their faces, so that that big clown can carry his gap tooth and hide somewhere his yellow face can't be recognised e.g Bauchi prison ![]() |
~Bluetooth:The same way I wont force my faith on anyone is the same way Mr Hawkings and the western agnostic media shouldn't force their beliefs on anyone!! Chikena! Hawkings is making the same mistake that the Catholic church made for years by rejecting scientific facts and replacing it with their own preconcieved beliefs. A knowledgeable scientist does nto rule out any option, be it God or the auto-igniting big bang, all possibilities should be explored with sufficient open mindedness to a conclusive point. |
bk.babe97y:Many frustrated individuals have been saying the same thing for a long time, how come its now big news just because Stephen Hawkings says so?? If Stephen Hawkings told you your mother was a frog, would that make it correct? foolishness in high places PS: Pls move this to the religious section, ASAP |
seanet02:I couldn't resist jumping into the fray, lol, it will be my pleasure to hammer this dude - what in God's name is "founding"? which school are you in, because I would recommend you withdraw asap, you are wasting your parents money, and if you have finished I can only shake my head in pity for the wasted years, |
olas2u:Why are u so concerned about what the political elites support or not? Are they more nigerian than you? The question asks what you will vote for and not which candidate is more politically acceptable? In my own opinion, Ribadu is a better candidate simply because he has ideals (how good or bad the ideals is another discussion), and he at least stands up for something. Bros Lucky on the other hand is well known for capitulating, saying things and doing something else - an unstable man, wavering in all his ways. He stands for nothing so you also wont be able to hold him if he does nothing at the end of the day. He is spineless, liverless and cowardly. Easily bending at the least pressure, would you put your future and that of your kids in the hands of such a man? |
Mr IBB, Answer the questins first and then we won't ask you again. Infact if you had answered it the first time we asked you, we won't keep repeating it. So, please "Who killed Dele Giwa?", "Why did you annul June 12 Elections, and who were the cabal tthreatening you then, are they still around or dem don die finish?", finally, "please what happened to the Crude oil windfall?" |

Dear Mr Nwodo, Kindly visit any UK/US univeristy website to see how an online registration is done. In case you are not computer literate enough to understand the procedure, please employ a recent graduate of any Nigerian university to put you through or better still visit computer village and they'll do it for a fee. What this registration mode offers is no different from walking to a registration booth at any of the wards, or am I missing something? oh yeah, the N1,200 subscription fee that now goes straight to the PDP account in UBA et al. PDP should stop taking this sensible nation for a ride, N1,200 (subscription fee) x 1mill registered members = is N1.2bn, so how come your elected reps still need to steal the nation to death to contest for their seats? |
Online my foot!!! If it is online, how come you are still thumb printing with blue ink? How come we can't find the website address or link anywhere? Is it exclusive or wetin?

akay47:Confirm that you are using "ultrasn0w" (snow with a zero) and not ultrasnow (snow with an o)?? |
tkb417:I shouldn't be bothering to reply your post, cos you are obviously either not willing to learn or unable to. However, due to lack of something better to do I'll give you a feat since you asked for one. 1 - Sudan's immigration system works, while Nigeria's immigration sit and snore. Do you know how many chinese and koreans are here in Nigeria welding and cutting pipes without a single paper? ask me how they got into the country? and you have the effrontery to say you are better than Sudan. 2 - At least Sudan has the guts to do a referendum to determine the future of their nation, your own politicians cannot even speak for the wards they rep not to talk of charting the future of the nation, greedy individuals fighting for their stomachs. Don't be so high minded, Angola was in Civil war all the days of my secondary education and half of my tertiary, now their oil export is almost overtaking ours. Investments are moving rapidly to angola instead of Nigeria, because the kickbacks demanded by Nigerian Politicians are killing the business, Do you still want more? Nigeria has potential don't get it wrong but do you have achievements defintely not! Presently there is no field that Nigeria stands as the dominant force apart from over-population and corruption. |
tkb417:You are obviously very UNIFORMED, have you heard of Mo' Ibrahim before - One of Africa's richest men and the former owner of ZAIN, he is currently sponsoring the African leadership award, that man is from SUDAN. So don't kid yourself thinking Nigeria is all in all, infact the list in 2010 of the richest african shows Ethiopian as the richest man in Africa!!! People like you would say Ethiwhta?? 1 - Mohammed Al Amoudi (Ethiopia) 2 - Nassef Sawiris (Egypt) 3 - Nicky Oppenheimer & Family (South Africa) 4 - Patrick Shoo-Shiong (South Africa) 5 - Onsi Sawiris (Egypt) 6 - Naguib Sawiris (Egypt) 7 - Johann Rupert & Family (South Africa) 8 - Patrice Motsepe (South Africa) 9 - Aliko Dangote (Nigeria) 10 - Mo Ibrahim (Sudan) Nigerians, this is a passionate appeal for you all to get off your high horses and don't feel that just becasue things are not moving here its the same elsewhere. The whole of Africa is moving on and leaving you behind in your rottenness of corruption, tribalism and political ineptitude (characterised by the foolishness of zoning at the detriment of competence). Pride they say goes before a fall - may this nation never FALL |
nat138:I completely agree with you, because Nigerians are quick to deride agencies of other nations who are alive to their duties - because the Nigerian Immigration officers sit in their offices doing nothing until they are bribed to come and witch hunt people (You all remember the case of the former coolFM presenter***) don't mena that other African countries should follow suit. If the Nigerian agencies do their work we will need to deport not just all those Niger/Chad miscreants causing trouble in Lagos streets, but many Lebanese, Philipinos, Indians even American here illegally strutting around with MOPOL acting as if they are mini gods. |
akay47:If you are definintely sure that your phone is 3G 1. Visit http://blog.iphone-dev.org/ and then go to http://www.iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=10188&laid= that should sort you out. If you still have problems after then talk to NL gurus |
hilarous! ![]() However, its not as simple as that |
Hi, I have a Manual EOD 2004 for sale at just that price, available in Lagos Send me a mail if your are interested - blinx4real@aim.com |
marcustan:I have decided to oblige you, because I saw your post at chemicalforums.com and feel you really need a break, you seem like a dedicated guy. Look for this book: Polymer Data Handbook (2nd Edition) Edited by: Mark, James E. © 2009 Oxford University Press 0.47Kj/K/mol for corn starch. The recommended literature will give you other values for other variants. Glucose is a standard compound, you can even compute that if you wish. I do hope u know that nairaland is not an authentic academic reference and cannot be quoted in your report, so get the books! |
marcustan:Starch is the major form of stored carbohydrate in plants, composed of a mixture of two substances: amylose, an essentially linear polysaccharide, and amylopectin, a highly branched polysaccharide. Both forms of starch are polymers of α-D-Glucose. Natural starches contain 10-20% amylose and 80-90% amylopectin. Starch typically contains of 200 to 20,000 glucose units(ref: http://www.scientificpsychic.com/fitness/carbohydrates1.html) Basically, what I am trying to tell you is that as young engineers, learn how to find information. If you have enough internet access to get into nairaland a simple google search will provide you with the information you need. I could easily have put the standard enthalpy of starch here for you now, but DIY, that way you learn better. Better still search for tools and spreadsheets online that can give you these physical ppts and keep them handy, try www.cheresources.com its a good site for chemical engineering info cheers |
I Cor 1:24 To them that are called, both Jews and Greek, Christ the Power of God and the Wisdom of God. |
Ephesians 1:17 - 19 17- That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and the revelation in the knowledge of him. 18- The eyes of your understanding being enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of your calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints. 19- And the exceeding greatness of his power to us ward that believe according to the working of his mighty power. |
I started on a journey to memorize as much of the scripture as I can, in accordance to Josh 1:8. I've decided to share this journey with you all, by posting for each day the verse I memorize. Today - Heb4:15 For we have not an high priest who is no touched by the feelings of our infirmities, but was at all points tested as we are yet without sin! |
The Truth is not determined by how acceptable what you say is, and no witch active or repented can define who is true or false, the BIBLE is the only judge that can try any man to show if he is true or false. So far Oyedepo has never said anything contrary to God's word, until he does, he remains a true son of God! |
Something sweet to warm the Belle, if u run commot here we go catch you there! I think someone should sue Yerima in switzerland and ask interpol to arrest him when next he goes for haj in Mecca, lol! |
Before you do anything to your phone, pls go thru these 2 sites, they are the authority on iPhone Jb and Unlocking, I take their advice more seriously than anything anyone else can tell you on any other site. http://www.iclarified.com/tutorials/iphone/index.php http://blog.iphone-dev.org/ |
lagerwhenindoubt:Sure, God says that many will fail to make "heaven" or the kingdom of God as it should be rightly called but it wont be because of the workings of the devil, it will be because they refuse the sacrifice of God through His son Jesus christ and because they fail to live after the dictates of the Spirit of God present in this world to guide us in Obedience. Many will fall off, because they simply desire to live for themselves rather than live for God, not because the Devil does any smart or ingenious thing. He (the devil) is happy about it anyways!!! |
1) He is not Omnipresent - that means he's cannot be everywhere at the same time, he can only be in a particular place, that keeps him very limited 2) He is not Omnipotent - that means he cannot do whatever he wants to do, he is also under authority and must subject himself to the laws of God like all other spirits 3) He is not Omniscient - that means he doesn't know everything, he cannot read your mind and must rely on information gathered by his agents to make decisions. That make Satan or the Devil as he is popularly called very limited in other words powerless! |
Mind you am a Nigerian and I wish people will be more broad minded to things happening around the world and not just be contented in their little comfort zones.
