People in Nigeria have fallen for the worst propaganda and are obsessed with LGBTQ. No one here is obsessed with transgenders and most people don’t run into any one a regular basis. I see more people over in Nigeria whine about LGBTQ than here and I don’t know any adults are kids who were pressured into being transgender or anything else.
ppl are easily moved by wat they see..let one influencer spread the news u would see how a cult like following arise...u just need enough ppl supporting it and it becomes a trend your son can wake up one day and tell u he feels like a woman..just by association or exposure

Officers of the Kick Against Indiscipline (KAI) have taken deliberate efforts to eradicate illegal markets in Lagos.

On the order of the commissioner for environment, Tokunbo Wahab, the officers were seen packing food items like yams and pepper owned by Traders running illegal markets at CMD/Magodo axis.

In a video shared the commissioner’s twitter account, they were seen packing all these items into their vehicles in order to restore normalcy in the area.

It would be recalled that two days ago, the commissioner announced that LAWMA has sealed Oyingbo and Alayabiagba markets in Lagos following series of unheeded warnings.

He also mentioned that other Other markets that risk imminent shut-down for improper waste disposal and sundry environmental infractions include: Tejuosho Model Market Phase 1, Ladipo Market in Mushin, Anjorin Market, Irewolede Plank Market, Idi-Araba Obele Market, Oni Baba Market,Oba Morufu International Market, formerly known as Ejigbo Market, Ijora 7UP Market, Okeafa Plank Market, Ifelodun Fruit Market, Amukoko, among others.

These guys are thieves in uniform..when them reach office you go see how dem go begin share the yam among themselves go give their wives for house..this is wat happens when u vote along tribal lines e red for you u con dey look for ppl wey u go use sense of duty format fend for yourselves..there are better ways of doing this things.. create a market and make it affordable before doing all these. That's why I like the Chinese.. in China they have enough ghost cities to house the entire close to 300 million Nigerians in decent well organised apartment. A country that plans..A company like dangote cement should normally be state owned with a govt agency that would guide the development of structures in a way we have enough to farm and house the entire population in decent well planned accommodation with all the amenities.. building estates that can house 10,000 ppl scattered every where across the 36 states with all amenities planned vi's a vi's schools..mass transit system....vocational institutes...factories....shopping mall..recreation centres....proper road networks and drainage system..but we don't plan as a nation we react..the reason why usa and China are developed is becos they are a proactive nation..we are reactive in nature waiting for thing to happen and then we react. Another thing is we have poor maintenance culture as a nation instead of fixing a porthole u wait until the whole road is damaged so you can award a contract for a road of 1billion naira for 10 billion naira to a company owned by ur cronies.

I can't help but think, when I get married with a wife and kids to feed, is this how I am going to continue? How will my family respect me.

This is the 3rd time of me replacing my tv set in the last 2years. Whenever I run out of money, I search for anything valuable to sell in my home, with the mindset that I will replace it. Which I normally do but sometimes it takes time because i know i might sell it again within some weeks. This is getting on me deeply with the number of cartons of phones and receipts from same equipments I no longer have.
My generator is another thing to talk about that my neighbors and landlord are starting to gossip because I can't explain changing of generator to and fro when its always placed outside.

I know I need help but don't know how to go about this.
I am not here for financial assistance as claimed by some peoples in anyway please, some of us seek for ways to stop some certain things when we know we are falling off tracks.

I am on my way to lg office to replace my TV for the third time and the thought of it warrants this post.

PoliticsRe: Like Naira, The Green Passport Is Also On Free Fall by Blitzking: 7:21am On Sep 25, 2023
HenryThegreat1:
Last week, I experienced one of the worst encounters in my 15 years of international travel. I was travelling from Abuja to the Swedish city of Gothenburg to attend the 2023 Global Investigative Journalism Conference (GIJC). As with many destinations, there was no direct flight from Nigeria to Sweden. In the world of national carriers, Nigeria has decided to take a backseat and remain there. Hadi Sirika’s “Nigeria Air” seems to have a rather exclusive preference for its owner’s favourite destination – Addis Ababa!

My best option was to go through Europe or at least the Middle East, depending on your perspective of Turkey’s geographical placement. I settled for Turkish Airlines. An 11-hour journey, however, became 32 hours for me as the airlines continuously changed the departure schedule, forcing me to opt for the next day’s connecting flight. As a result, I had to endure a 23-hour layover at the Istanbul airport without the opportunity to explore the city.

After arriving in Istanbul at 6.30 a.m. local time, I rushed to the Turkish Airlines ticketing desk to change my ticket to the next available flight to Gothenburg, but I was told the only flight for the day had already commenced boarding and that there was no space for me.

“I’m afraid you have to wait for tomorrow morning’s flight as contained in your boarding pass,” a lady at the desk told me politely.

After exhausting all available options to change the ticket without success, I decided to get an entry visitor’s e-visa. The system was so simple. You approach an ATM-like machine and pay $50 if you have UK, US or Schengen passports or a Nigerian passport with any of the three valid visas.

It’s a system I had used before and figured I could give it another shot to enter Istanbul – a city I know fairly well having been there on five different occasions. I had planned to meet and greet a couple of ex-BBC colleagues now working with the Turkish broadcaster, TRT.

Little did I know, similar to the constant decline of the naira in my account since Bola Tinubu’s presidency began, my green passport has been rapidly devaluing. It no longer allows me to obtain a Turkish e-visa and has forfeited numerous privileges that holders once enjoyed in various countries.

I watched in dismay as the security personnel at the gate permitted a group of South Africans to pass through and access the e-visa point, informing me that the “Nigerian passport is not eligible.”

I didn’t ask why but later found out from a friend that a passenger travelling to the US through Istanbul was recently denied the opportunity to enjoy a free hotel accommodation because of his “Nigerian passport”. I gathered that they only permitted individuals with US passports to proceed and was also informed that, “Nigerians tend to frequently overstay or disappear when granted entry.”

After all the wahala and spending the night at an expensive airport hotel, I woke up very refreshed and ready for my flight. I was at the boarding gate almost 1.30 minutes before the departure. After a couple of minutes’ wait, we were called for passport screening ahead of the boarding. Two gentlemen from the Turkish Airlines were in charge. Things were going smoothly until it reached my turn.

One of the flight attendants glanced at my passport and my visa. He requested that I lift my face to allow him to verify my identity as the legitimate passport holder. Of course, it was my photo and the visa was valid. But that was not enough.

“Do you have a return ticket?”

In his mind, I was embarking on a “Japa” mission.  Without hiding my displeasure, I simply told him to check their system to verify if I had a return ticket or not.

Then he started to sound apologetic, saying he just wanted my answer. “Sir, I only want you to say yes or no since I don’t have access to the computer now.”

The attendant moved over to a Filipino lady next to me. He asked her if she had a return ticket. She said yes and he moved on to the next person. At that moment, I was convinced that he had only asked her to demonstrate to me that he wasn’t profiling me.

While trying to avoid another round of profiling and passport issues, I refrained from going through the counter of the previous “racist” attendant. However, the second officer proved to be equally biased. As I approached him, he quietly confirmed from his colleague that he had already screened my passport in the local language, allowing me to board the 200-passenger plane, which had only three black passengers – I and two Somali immigrants with EU resident permits.

This annoying encounter at the Istanbul airport reminded me of another terrible incident that almost forced me to miss my return flight to New York from Tangia, Morocco. I was in Morocco in November 2019, to attend a Media Trust board retreat ahead of my resumption as editor-in-chief in January 2020. The Moroccan immigration officers allowed me to enter the country and stamped my passport knowing fully well that I was travelling from the US, only for them to ask me to wait for a few moments when I wanted to return to New York after four days of our retreat. I was left sitting in a small corner for nearly 30 minutes. Nobody asked any questions or demanded any documents or told me to do anything.

My thoughts swiftly gravitated towards the familiar culprits – my Nigerian passport and the upcoming journey to the US. After expressing my frustration to the airline staff and with the intervention of their supervisor, they extended their apologies and granted me permission to board and make my way back to New York.

I understand this isn’t a novel narrative, but why do the deeds of a handful of individuals persist in causing harm to everyone? The conduct and dispositions of Nigerians consistently cast a shadow over our nation’s reputation on a regular basis, and it appears that we have lost all hope of change.

It has led to visa bans in the UAE and restrictions in South Africa, Turkey and many other countries. The Japa syndrome has worsened the situation, but I strongly believe that we shouldn’t give up. In fact, this is the time to brace for change. The new Minister of Information and National Orientation should take the lead. It’s imperative that we restore our country’s tarnished reputation in the eyes of the world.

Imagine a world when every Nigerian home and abroad decides to come home and our visit to their consulates for visa drastically reduces.. and we descend upon our land demanding accountability and transparency from leaders we choose to lead us with the death penalty for every one found corrupt.. not just the individual but relatives of the said person everybody would sit up..the way we treat nigeria isn't the way we treat our families..if something is wrong at home we try and fix it we don't leave a house cos the windows or doors are bad..we fix it.

Christianity EtcRe: What Has The Incessant Leaks Of Sex And Nude Videos Taught Us? by Blitzking: 11:17am On Sep 24, 2023
jesusjnr2020:
What Has The Incessant Leaks Of Sex And Nude Videos Taught Us?

It's the same people who encourage you to make nude or sex videos of yourself that will later ridicule you for doing what they wanted and also use it against you.

They don't care about you one single bit. All they were after is to gratify the lusts and carnal cravings of their flesh. They may even offer to pay for it, but once they've gotten what they wanted from you, they would exploit you to the last and make you pay dearly for doing their bidding.

That's the same way they pushed Kim Kardashian to make sex videos of herself, but that still wasn't enough for them. Many years later, after she had regreted her actions and thought she had moved on from it, as she was now happily married and had given birth to several kids, they still wanted to use it against her. They made her weep profusely when her 5 year old son stumbled upon an ad made of her sex-video while he was playing a video game online.

She was very upset and swore to bring them down using every possible means at her disposal, however truth is that there's not much she could do to stop them from using it against her in the future, because it was now out of her hands.

Such is the consequence those who make such videos have to face in the their lifetime and beyond, that even if they genuinely repented of such deeds, they will still find it almost impossible to move on from it, since their acts have been recorded and can be replayed many years later, even after they were dead.

That's the kind of trap Satan is setting for many today, especially ladies, which he hopes to use to keep them in perpetual bondage.

He uses such to hold them captive, so even when they were truly willing to come out of such lifestyle, that will make it harder and more complicated for them, as he could still be using it against them and to mislead many, even after they'd repented and were long gone and departed from this world.

That's why you should never make fall into his trap and make such videos even if you were still a sinner, because [b]it could still come back to hunt you in the future even when you've turned a new leaf.

It bad enough to be committing sexual sins and immorality, but why complicate matters for yourself by recording such acts?

Even married couples were not exempted from these warnings, because despite being married, the devil could still find a means to leak their nude/sex videos or photos if they made them. Hence why they should avoid such at all costs, so they wouldn't find themselves in an unwarranted situation where they'd be filled with regrets and now have to start explaining themselves.

So be wise.

God bless.

A family friend who’s a Jehovah’s Witness, said Jehovah’s Witness parents are allowed to perform rites for their children even thou they choose to marry a non witness, that it’s not against the law of the organization and any man who choose not to sit(be it an Elder or a member) is acting so based on his personal belief and not under Jehovah’s Witness.

I have seen cases of daughters getting married and their fathers not attending their traditional marriage or even accepting to collect dowery because she dint marry a witness and he cannot partake in her sin.

One girl said the Dad asked her spouse to first become a witness and get baptized before he can accept her as a son-inlaw and many more like that …

Now this our family friend who is saying it’s not against the law of Jehovah’s Witness is getting me confused and leaving me with so many questions 🧐🧐

If it’s not a against them, then how come so many fathers ignore or even disowned their daughters for taking this step?

How come they all choose to be wicked even thou their organization accepts such?

And those fathers that sits for their daughters who marry non witness, do they get summoned or disfellowshipped?

I need answers pls … someone help me out

He’s always been diabetic but the foot got worse this past week and he’s been admitted. Unable to eat and sleep. I’m really scared for him.

Doctor gave advice that the foot is amputated to prevent the spread to the entire leg, but his families are objecting to this saying that they’d prefer to treat him.

My question is, is it best to treat him or get the leg amputated?

What are the chances of his survival doctors in the house?
